Mine are blue-grey. But they will sometimes change to a lot more blue in the sunlight. When I was younger they changed from green to blue a lot. I get the blue from my dad and the green from my mom.

I would describe my eyes as blue. But that's because there really is no such thing as green eyes. But, to look at my eyes, they start with a yellow star burst radiating out from the pupil. It's a very small detail, but one which add just as much personality as anything else. The yellow radiates into a green whirlwind with flecks of blue and brown, swirling and recombining and pulling your gaze back toward the center. As one gets further from my pupil, the maelstrom begins to settle into a calm aquamarine color. Not quite green, but neither is it exactly blue. Finally, a very faint blue-ish line terminates the retina. Beyond that, on my right eye, when I am tired or my eyes are dry, I have a very large red streak right in the center, moving from my retina into the left-most corner of my eye.

Apparently when I was born, I had black eyes.
Iris and pupil, all black.

As I grew, they turned blue.

As I got teenager age, they were more green.

As an adult, they're.... Kind of grey. People describe them as blue-green-grey, and they're saying grey more and more as the years go on.


And I am okay with this.
