Magus is my favorite because of his wide range of magic spells and sweet theme music, he kind of reminds me of Abel the Wicked from Star Ocean 3, reason is that they both start out as enemies and then become your ally.

Wow..thats a tough one. I pretty much loved ALL the characters. Chrono for letting actions speak louder than words, Marle for her tom-boyish attitude, Lucca for being herself and not just filling up space as another overly developed female video game character, Robo for his killer moves and having lots of personality for a robot, Frog for being a cool knight character who made a great team member in the last fight against Lavos, Ayla for being wild and crazy, and Magus for being an all around tough guy, with the darkest spells in the game..and who loves his cat.

Whenever I could, I always placed Crono, Frog, and Robo in my party. I love those three the most (though, there really isn't a terrible character to my knowledge). Crono is just awesome, Frog has a cool story, and Robo is awesome because not only does he remind me of WALL-E, he has no real weaknesses since he really doesn't have a true magic type. I'm sorry if that didn't make sense, it's been a while lol.

My favorite character in Chrono Trigger was probably Chrono himself. He had incredible stats, basically making him a one-man army, and was the source for all of the triple techs. He came back to life, and ended up with the girl; enough said.

I love all the characters almost equally. Chrono isn't my top however because he almost never said anything lol. Magus is probably my favorite. Evil man gone good. After that would be Frog. All in all they all were amazing characters with excellent development.
