What do you think the worst video game is?
(I am in a buzz for this question, I want to simply know YOURS.)

I think the worst game ever is Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg. It was horrible.

The worse video game ever made is possibly Atari 2600 ET, not only for the game itself, but also for the whole story behind it. Now, how can someone ruin the year's most popular movie using the number one console video game? By making a game in which the player, as ET, could fall into holes and then levitate to get out, causing the game to be pathetically boring. This game logic has been afflicting humanity for decades, along with the problem of the prime numbers and the origin of the universe (although those last two are almost solved...). Great part of the the game can be resuming in a aimlessly infinite walking. And walking aimlessly is certainly not fun. No wonder less than 40% of cartridges were sold, which caused a financial shortfall that resulted in Atari's bankruptcy in 1984. To worsen, E.T.'s game saga do not end here. In 1983, facing millions of unsold ET's games and a sizable inventory of unusable cartridges, Atari opted for a non-orthodox solution: the company buried them in a municipal waste dump in Almogordo, New Mexico and covered them with a cement layer.

I like it.

My case was Haven: Call of the King. The gameplay was exactly like Jak and Daxter, only beaten senseless with the stupid stick until it broke. The story concept was good, but executed terribly, and has a depressing ending which begs for a sequal (which, by the way, never got made because the game was so bad). There was a supposed secret ending, which is done by doing certain sidequests for keys to some temples. Then you have to find the temples, which is long, boring, frustrating, and guaranteed to take hours just to find one. SPOILER: the secret ending is really just a list of cliffhanger questions shown after the credits. Hours wasted on a broken game...LAME!!!

For me, Lunar: Dragon Song. The default speed is an extremely slow walk. If you choose to try to run, you lose health with each step! Plus the maps are confusing and the battle system doesn't let you choose who you attack... actually the entire battle system is messed up. I quit after about 5 battles it was so bad.

Superman 64. *shudders* this has been voted the worst video game of all time by gametrailers.com. cant argue with that logic!

In my opinion superman 64 was the worst game ever. There has been allot of talk about how bad E.T and other games are very bad. To counteract E.T's unpopularity Superman 64 was of a later era and had allot more capabilities. Unfortunately they failed to utilize them correctly, and made terrible physics along with a horrible story. At least E.T simulates it might possibly be a good game at the beginning, but Superman 64 started out with a terrrible presentation. At the Beginning when you start the game you notice that you are being forced to fly through loops that lead to a place you could have clearly gotten to in less then 10 seconds. Also the sky is pink with no other graphics, theres practically no background layer even when under water. Superman 64 also had terrible graphics for superman. You were a block looking thing resembling superman, and when you punched you actually just flailed your arm and bent it in an in human way, also when you fly you seem to be swimming. When you fly superman fly's slower then an old lady can walk. :/
So all these things gather up to make Superman 64 the worst game ever.

P.s I could have written 5 times more problems with this game.

Total Distortion, a cd-rom game for the computer back in 1995, I went back to play it recently remembering it from my childhood, and that thing is awful. It's not the horrible graphics, or bad technology, the game play is just so terrible if it can be called I don't know if it can be called a game, and the music... I'm not even going to start. The defenition of bad comes in 3 letters: CDI.The Phillips CD-i of 1990 was an uncontrollable piece of s*** and the worst game on that system(and ever in fact)was Zelda Adventure.It took too long to load,it was confusing and you had NO IDEA Where to go.Also you have no idea where you could even walk as backround images seeped into the foreground.it was a notrotios ass-bag.Even The f***ING VIRTUAL BOY WAS BETTER!Nintendo does not even consider this game to exsist its so s***ty.f*** the CD-i

The worst game I've ever heard of was Cliffhanger. I never played it, but I saw someone else play it and that was enough to convince me.

I can't remember an absolutely horrible one, but I think All Star Slammin' D-Ball was pretty bad.

I'm going with Action 52 for the NES. The 52 "games" are all terrible/don't work. I'm not going by the AVGN review alone; I've played it myself. I don't think I've played a game with worse jumping controls.

Superman 64 is arguably the worst. It had a lot of potential, even more than Action 52 and ET, because it was on N64. The terrible graphics and half-arsed story were the first giveaways that this game was terrible. Then came gameplay. Fly through hoops. With a time limit. Beat up a few bad guys in terrible, impossible to play and even harder to enjoy sections. Rescue someone and fight a boss. Repeat. It was terrible. The ending was horrible as well, and just made a bad ending to a bad game. That's not even going into all the bugs, physics failures, and general lack of polish.

I have heard E.T. was the worst game ever.

I didn't really enjoy Yu-Gi-Oh! Falsebound Kingdom. I liked the show so much, but they just failed at games. I'm sure I've played worse, but that's the first one that comes to mind.

lets see, for worst game ever it would have to have
1. terrible art work and design (they didnt even care)
2. terrible controls (barely playable if playable at all)
3. no save option or one hit death
3. annoying music and or sound that gives you a head ache after 5 seconds
4. hyped up with expectations or product endorsement.

I have yet to find a game with all of there. I would understand if it was an old atari game since it was limited.
I cant wait to find that crappy game.
