Someone70 : Yeah, they are like sharks. Things in the news and movies give a lot of misconceptions about them. They aren't so terrifying when you know, like you said, they are pretty much on a linear path. It's not like they are going to turn around and chase you like on that stupid movie 'Twister'. I do agree with you though. If I knew it was coming my way specifically, I wouldn't be outside looking at it

Perfect conversation for me, I live in Oklahoma the heart of tornado alley. Here in Oklahoma Tornadoes are so common that people here go "Oh, another tornado.." Does not even phase them. Now, I've seen everything from 10 F1s at once to a massive F5 and seen them within a few miles of me. So if you wanna know more ask me.

The debris has a higher chance to kill you then the tornado does. But if you stay in your safe room,cellar whatever you use during it. The chances if even being hurt then is slim.
