ive read a bit of the book, and seen some of the movie online, i can honestly say that i thought the book was better, even though i didnt like it that much. i thought the movie was mediocre for a book like that, but it did save some time

Well when I read the book it was my intention that grover was a white person. Then when I saw the movie that really bugged me, I did not see the same thing in my minds eye so I kept saying it was wrong. I really do not care that he is African American just looks weird to me. Then the other thing that really just made me mad was that it did not follow the book at all. They threw things in from all the books and I wondered why, then when I was looking up the movie I saw why it was like that. The guy who directed Harry Potter one was the same guy who did Percy Jackson. Then it all started to make sense, as a movie not really that bad but it was supposed to be over the book which was fantastic and it really just did not live up to that.
