It doesn't bother me that much overall. It just gets kind of annoying on movies when they show a TON of blood spewing out of a person and you know that would obviously not happen in real life.

I've had quite a few accidents that have resulted in me losing a bit of blood, (or significantly more than a bit on occasion ) and I've handled it fine. I don't ususally have a problem when it's my blood, or even someone in my family. It's when I see strangers blood that really freaks me out and I start to feel nauseous.

I can see blood, like if someone was bleeding to death, I'm fine. Now if I saw the open wound, that is when I get all grossed out.

I mean, as a girl, I see blood at the minimum of once a month.

I'm interested in the human body and how it works, but blood makes me freak the heck out. Just describing it sometimes makes me gag. (woe betide someone who starts describing surgery to me. bleeeeeeeeeegh...)

Heck, bodily fluids in general gross me out. Especially vomit...... Worse than blood, to me. If there's blood in a dangerous situation, my instinct kicks in and I get help (then freak out after) but vomit is just.... blegh...

I actually like seeing my own blood for some reason... I don't know why, but it just gets my adrenaline flowing for some reason!

Believe it or not (because I'm a Christian) I compete in MMA and it can get bloody. It doesn't really bother me because I know everyone has blood in them, and when the skin is open, it's only natural that blood comes out. >.>
