"Ever play a game good or bad that had a piss poor final boss? If so which game was it?

As for me I remember playing Bioshock killing the final boss using only my shotgun. It was so lame. Then Bioshock 2 game along and it didn't even have a final boss.

Another game I remember was Mass effect's final boss which was nothing more then a metal frog jumping up the walls BUT Mass effect 2 redeemed itself with an epic final boss."

I was really disappointed with assassin's creed 1 final boss. Previously at the beginning of the final level you have to kill 20 or 25 people, and the last enemy(that old guy could previously multiply himself, but after beating him once, he is just alone against you), was just too easy for me to take him down.
I think that the bosses of the previous levels were more difficult.

Necron from Final Fantasy IX. I understand he was meant to be symbolic, but he did nothing for the story what-so-ever. I think the creators stuck him in the game with that killer Grand Cross move just to tick people off.

I was very disappointed with the final boss in Streets of Rage 2. Dr. X just uses a machine gun and lets his minions and thugs do all the work. A few 'Bare knuckles' and he was dead! Haha very good game tho.

sonic and the secret rings. the boss there is TOTALLY pointless! in that boss it's got toatally different controlls and physics than the actuall game! same deal with the final boss in sonic unleashed.

I would have to say Bowser from Super Mario Sunshine. The setup was perfect, after going through a volcano level, and here we wind up fighting him in a floating hot tub. And the fight was EXTREMELY easy, too.

Most pathetic final boss would probably be Neo Cortex in Crash Bandicoot 2. He doesn't even put up a fight. You chase him and have to catch up to him three times, BIG WHOOP! As far as I remember Tiny and N.Gin were much harder.

I'll nominate Gaul from The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night. I could beat him with one arm tied behind my back - the enemy rush just before you fight him is more challenging than he is. Then he stays at 1HP until you use some Dark power or something, despite the fact I was kicking his ass without needing to use anything besides the jump attack. What an illogical waste.

Aurora Unit 313 was the easiest boss battle for me from Metroid Prime 3 Corruption. Since the charged phazon beam could fire millions of shots, it was easy to hit the boss's weak spot. I would've liked it better if the developers had Dark Samus transform back into Metroid Prime.

Just use a lot of high hitting fast shooters and use that buster. Don't forget to steal spaces and use your swords! I used Protosoul and so many swords. I beat Duo in no time

My least fave had to be Yu Yevon in Final Fantasy 10. Unless you try to lose that battle you just can't. I have yet to meet a person who died in the fight against Yu Yevon.

the most dissappointing fight had to be the pope from assassins creed 2, that games was so EPIC, however at the end the final boss was nothing but a fist fight with the pope, it actually had less energy than the regular fights i had and since ezio took his weapons off it lacked the comic relief of using poison and watching the fun, the only thing remotely interesting about that final fight was the conversation and i suppose it only amounts to a conversation where the two people talking just happen to be swinging their fists at eachother.
