Shadow couldn't escape the wrath of Snorlax's crush you with mah belly powers. The goomba fails. I don't know who Lucus and Eagele are, but they still lose for no apparent reason.

I don't really know much about the other characters, but Luigi would never beat Link, he would probably run away! Link could just use Din's Fire from Ocarina of Time and incinerate the goomba and anyone else nearby or he could stand in one place and pick off his enemies with the fire rod or use the beam from the magic sword of the Adventures of Link. Also, Link and use Nayru's Love spell to protect him from harm for a bit and slash away.

I'd say it would be close between Link and Lugia. On one hand, Link has defeated Ganondorf on numerous occasions, and he is more powerful than Lugia. However, link has the Master sword which, though a mighty weapon, is specialized for fighting evil. Lugia is not evil. It would likely be a spectacular fight, but too close to call.
