The seashell on Slowbro's tail is actually another pokemon! In the pokedex for slowbro it identifies the pokemon as a Shellder! I know it doesn't look like a Shellder but you cant really argue with the maker. If you don't believe me you can look it up! I believe that is from the GBA Leaf Green Pokedex for Slowbro. I can't recall 100% though so If it is a different one feel free to correct me!

- The 2nd. Game of the saga "Contra" (made by Konami) is named "Super C" because of the conflict Iran-Contra (in where the Contras sell weapons to Iran... That's how it happened, right? Correct me If I'm wrong...)

When the game went international, Capcom was suggested to change the name of the character, because he actually resembled Mike Tyson to the point of an infringement lawsuit. When they changed the names of the characters, they actually just switched M. Bison and Balrog’s names around. Balrog is now commonly referred to as ‘Boxer’, and M. Bison is referred to as ‘Dictator’.

In the game blazblue one of the 12 playable characters Hazama has separate costumes that represents idols in video game comic book and real life history like Michael Jackson, the Joker etc etc.

Another character that is plagued by this is a ninja named bang shishigami has a similar look to a ninja named strider hyru mainly the resemblance of the scarfs which he was based off of.

Fun fact Blazblue was intended to be an anime but no company has picked it up yet. In my opinion I think gonzo might take the saddle since they have worked with project BB before to do all the animated cut scenes.

Did You Know: That Universal Studios was set on naming Crash Bandicoot something like Wuzzle/Wez/Weezy The Wombat, or Ozzie the Ottsel. Crash Bandicoot became final when Naughty Dog threatened to leave the production.

Did you know: In Super Mario 64, Bowser's laugh, and the Boo's laugh are exactly the same? Boo's laugh is Bowser's laugh all sped up.

The creator thought that since he goofed on the first one it wouldn't make sense to change it in the rest of the series.

In Pilotwings 64, the character Lark is actually the mascot for Nintendo Power, Nester. His name was changed at the last minute, probably because PAL gamers wouldn't know who he was.

The GameCube System Menu is the exact same melody for the Famicom's Startup Music.

The original Donkey Kong 1981 arcade game was actually meant to be a Popeye the Sailor Man game. Mario was Popeye, Pauline was Olive Oyl, and Donkey Kong was Bluto. The hammer power-ups were even spinach. But Nintendo lost the license to said Popeye game. But Miyamoto (The creator of Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, ect) didn't want to drop the idea of the game and instead, filled in the blanks with his own characters.

In Luigi's Mansion, during a part in the game that takes place in the attic, lightning flashes, illuminating the room for a split second. A shadow on the wall from the Lightning is what appears to be Luigi hanging from the ceiling.
