tornadocam takes lead in Blue Jersey.

Wow, I must say I did not expect to take the lead in Blue. That was a nice surprise. However, Blue is very competitive so I do not expect to hang onto the lead that long.

Becky not being praised for grabbing blue? Wow okay last time competing for a jersey this is all a sham. Becky tried his hardest for eight posts and this is what Becky gets? No recognition? Booo.



In all seriousness, congrats tornadocam for the win on TdV or is that too early and/or disrespectful? The lead is by a seventy point gap… eleven days left so I don’t know…

becerra95 : Yeah, I was going to get Blue Yesterday, but you took it, and I don't know if I'll get it today, but I'll try.

I managed to take back Gray for some 24 hours before it was taken away yet again. And now somebody else decided to join the fray, let the battle of the veterans begin!

Initially I should have more free time from Saturday on, but then again, real life may have other plans. I do have in mind trying a few things to still remain in the battle, we'll see just how useful those things are and hopefully I'll have enough time for all of them.

Looks like the battle for overall isn't close anymore, with a 70 point gap and just the last third of the competition remaining tornado has quite the gap to remain safe for one or two days. On the other side, the battle for Blue got absolutely on fire, three users in just two points this late in the competition is wild.

Let's see what further surprises await us in this last stretch. It's not over until it's over!

becerra95: It is too early for congratulations. There are 11 days left in this competition a lot can change. In my favorite sports baseball and American Football we have an old saying it isn't over until its other.

Things can come up that are unexpected. Look at what happened to me in the winter Tour. I was getting close to supercool and I may have had a shot at even passing him. But than my area got a historic snowstorm and I did not have internet for three days. That hurt me in the standings. While I was still able to finish in the top 3. I think I could have made it a lot closer.

Also the previous year I was doing well, but a severe thunderstorm knocked out power for awhile. Thus, I lost ground in that tour still finished in the top 4.

So no its not over. In this Competition #2 and #3 are serious competitors. They can easily gain ground quickly in the next 11 days.

I most likely will not be on here tomorrow. Mrs. Tornado is going to be going to a conference. I will be helping her pack plus we are going to a nice dinner and a movie before she leaves. She will be the focus of my time tomorrow

I'm going all out, I don't think I have any events for the rest of the month that'd get in the way, at least I hope not. (Nvm, there is, my Dads birthday and my Grandma's birthday.)

tornadocam: ah but also you just know the ancient style of the dark arts you know? Do what you can to keep a leg up. Whether verbal, messaging…. HACKING I mean mudslinging the opposition. Buffalo bills again succumbed to second place, which honestly is really surprising because I thought it be her tour this time with everyone busy and her determination but no one really accounted tornadocam to compete again… eh who knows. Third place has no chance to win but jerseys not the competition so unless she can pull double the weight with her strategy… I don’t think it’s gonna work out but who knows, I’m rooting for everyone’s downfall in the end. After this post I’ll be back in third person.

I’ll say that tornado is the eagles. About to win their first one and watch everyone congratulate him while I got little fanfare when I won.

once again I appreciate no8120 for the ratings

I probably won't be doing much posting or competing today. Saturdays are for going to my friend's place for dinner and also to watch a movie while we're eating (he makes dinner and we usually decide on the movie the week before). So I'll be leaving home in about in a hour, which doesn't leave a lot of time to compete today. Oh well, I'll do what I can and hope that tomorrow will be better.

Welp, that puts me officially out of the battle for Gray. I just can't compete with Postman and his ability to be online at the last hours of the day, so I'll take this last third of the competition with ease. It was fun while it lasted, and we'll see if I even get to repeat this because I won't have much time in future competitions.

The battle for Blue still rages on as usual, so it's the only thing yet up for grabs. Let's see who ends up prevailing there, up to three users still have a shot at it and we've seen plenty of users appearing out of nowhere to "steal" points from the overall contenders.

tornadocam grabs 2 7-pointers.

I think today is snag day for me, I don't think tornadocam is gonna compete today, he said in a previous post that he wouldn't compete in a few days, so you know what that means? Granted Jersey's!

Without tornadocam competing, it seems a bit quieter on here today. It also means the yellow and blue jerseys are up for grabs if anyone wants them. I guess we'll see how long this lasts since he might be away for a few days.

Oh yeah... Now I remember what the rule for seven pointers is. I don't see any reminders of this in Thee Owner's TDV posts.

For anyone out there who never saw this in print, here it is.

A jersey winner will receive a bonus two points towards their monthly jersey score when their numerically valued total for that day in said jersey is double or more what is earned by the first runner up.

That would be five plus two. A lightning score of seven.


I thought everyone ought to know. It is not commonly mentioned.

well it's video submission day not that it will count for anything but I put something on that actually does need to move

I did not compete yesterday due to the reasons I mentioned in an earlier post. I was shocked I did not loose a lot of ground. Still 9 days to go in this competition so a lot can happen.

tornadocam : Yeah, I mean, Yesterday was the best day to compete since you weren't competing, I gained some ground on Blue Jersey, I got a total of 10 Points. (Which was worse than I thought I'd get; I was expecting to get 20 or something)


Davideo7 : Something cool would be a graph for each Jersey. Then you could see who had what Jersey at what time.


Postman3 : I do agree, but people get it a lot, so it appears in the title. Like, "Tour de Vizzed: Summer 2024 = Day 21: tornadocam grabs 2 7-pointers"

Anyways, I want to win (or try and win) Yellow Jersey today, I mean, tornadocam hasn't gotten much in it so far, so today might be my day to get it.
