I have recently found Takeshi's Castle episodes on youtube. When I was young I watched Takeshi's Castle. From what I remember it would come on one of the family comedy channels. I was glad when I stumbled on it on youtube. I still think the obstacle courses are funny. Plus the emerald guard's actions are also funny. It was nice to rediscover Takeshi's Castle

Currently I'm watching the 1998 Academy Awards, it's a pretty good ceremony, like one of those heated pool nostalgia ceremonies (I do enjoy watching old award shows on youtube it's a nice time capsule)

I watched a You Tube video that was displayed on one of the game pages in the Retro Game Room.

The game being shown was Pokemon. The person playing as they were making the video was not very bright. They ran away from every wild encounter until they found a very formidable wild Bulbasaur. The trainer's Pokemon got Leech Seeded, they tried to hang on by using a potion but they just had their starter at its starting level, no experience and no expanded party of two or more backups to use as a contingency.

After the blackout, this lemming vizzed trainer continued to run from all weaker wild encounters and made it clear they had not learned from any of their mistakes. It was disappointing.

The last YouTube video I watched was the appearance Donald Duck made on Hot Ones a few days ago. The thumbnail was funny, but more than that I was curious to see how Donald would react, given he's a bird. Interestingly enough, he opted for cauliflower bites instead of wings, lol.

Overall, it was a very entertaining 8 minutes. It was interesting seeing a Hot Ones video with an animated fictional character, lol.

The last YouTube video I watched was a review/comparison video of the two versions of the Lego Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree. After watching the video, I've decided to build the Breath of the Wild version of the Great Deku Tree when I get this set sometime in the near future (hopefully on a discount). I prefer the BoTW version mainly because it uses up more pieces and looks a bit more complete as a set since the OoT version has 4-5 leftover bags the build doesn't use.

The Ocarina of Time version looks good too, but even though this is a set that allows you to switch between the two versions, it's super tedious and time consuming.

The last YouTube video I watched was a step-by-step video guide on how to get the Frenzied Flame ending in Elden Ring. I'm trying to 100% the game on PS4 and to do that, I need to get all three endings. Thankfully this is the last one I need for the platinum trophy. I just want to make sure I don't miss anything along the way, since Elden Ring is notorious for obscure, out of the way items, quests, etc.

The last YT video I watched was a review on some non-transforming Transformers model kits made by a company called Yolopark. I've been a TF fan since I was 6-7 years old and I occasionally collect figures of characters I like from various TF continuities. I bought the Yolopark figure for G1 Starscream a few weeks ago and was amazed at how well made and articulated it is, so I'm watching some reviews of their other G1 offerings to decide which kit I want to buy next. I might go with Nemesis Prime since I know figures and toys of him are harder to find and go for ridiculous prices on eBay and Amazon.

According to my YouTube watch history, the last video I watched was Game 7 of the 1960 World Series between the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Pirates. I didn't watch the entirety of it, but I'm working on a video of my own that focuses on the 1960 World Series, and I watched parts of it during the research and script writing process.

What's interesting about the footage of that game, though, is that it was assumed to be lost for 50 years. TV networks didn't save baseball broadcasts back then. It was too expensive to do so. The only reason we have footage of the game is because actor, singer, and then-Pirates co-owner Bing Crosby paid a company to record it for him because he was in Europe at the time. The film was found in his wine cellar in 2010.

The last YT video I watched was a video discussing some of the possible games that might be in the works for Mario's 40th anniversary this year. The next Mario Kart is definitely in the works and there's a good chance of a new 3D open world Mario could release with the launch of Switch. Either way, I'm excited to see what Nintendo has in store for us this year.

I can't believe 5 years have already passed since his 35th anniversary. Feels like just yesterday when his 3D All-Stars collection released.
