What are your current thoughts of all Sonic games you haven’t beaten 100% over the years?

My thoughts on both all the sonic games I've beaten and ones I've not 100%d hmm okay

Sonic 1 I think is a bad game truthfully I like green hill zone it's acts are good but then the game flies off a cliff with marble zone which isn't fun at all.

Sonic 1 on the game gear and sega master system is honestly more enjoyable than anyone wants to admit I think I might prefer it over 16 bit sonic 1

Sonic 2 I think is overrated I like the first half but I like almost every zone in the 2nd half less than the last.

Sonic 2 8 bit is just okay crazy that one of the endings is tails dying though.

Sonic CD I think is just bad it's levels are meant to be explored which I get but I think they're just annoying to traverse.

Sonic 3&K Even though I don't like a lot of the &Knuckles levels I still find the game amazing but it's not the best classic Sonic game that easily goes to Mania

Sonic R I actually like Sonic R idk why but I've always found it pretty charming despite it controls being pretty bad and the soundtrack is amazing I mean everyone knows Super Sonic Racing and while I love it too I actually think You're My Number One is the best song in the soundtrack.

Sonic 3d blast is a game I've never actually finished so I think it counts of the haven't 100%ed question I honestly don't like this game at all I've only ever made it like 3 zones in I think?

Sonic Spinball is another I've never finished I actually made it to the last level in this one but just couldn't beat the last level... Toxic Caves is a bop though

Okay not gonna lie I've kinda stopped caring about the games I've not beaten or I'll be typing this all day and that feels like a waste of a day off so back to games I've beaten

Sonic Adventure I know a lot of people like to say this game isn't good and "Sonic had a rocky transition to 3d" or whatever but I go back and forth if I prefer Adventure 1 over 2 but as for the game itself I think Sonic's gameplay in adventure is a perfect way to take the 2d games and put it into 3D which is super cool as for the other characters.... I think knuckles and tails levels are fun big is over in like 15 mins so that's fine amy isn't fun at all and gamma is just there. This is the first game with Crush 40 though so 10/10.

Sonic Adventure 2 Another Sonic game I find overrated in a way but even as I say that it's still probably a top 5 sonic game for me but I just don't find knuckles/rouge gameplay fun or the mechs fun I have to mod the game to enjoy those parts so it really has a negative impact on my thoughts even if I love the Sonic/Shadow levels and all the torture the game put me through when I was trying to 100% just to get a new pc and lose all that progress when I probably could of just spent a month on it and finished it but oops. Another unpopular opinion but I don't think Live and Learn is the best Crush 40 song :o

Sonic Heroes Now we have the best Sonic game I love the energy this game has and the original voice cast all hit their best on this game which is unfortunate since they all get replaced right after this, but this is the best game for Sonic's character for me I love Ryan's energy in his performance. It's a shame this game hasn't been rereleased since it game out in most regions it could definitely use a remaster as it's controls aren't great but even a port I would accept and buy at this point I just wanna play the best Sonic game on modern hardware. I could go on and on about heroes and how it's plot is perfect and yada yada but for my last hot take on Heroes What I'm Made Of is the best Crush 40 song.

Shadow The Hedgehog is a game I've not ever replayed in the 12 years since I beat it and got the true ending I will never understand how we went from how lighthearted Heroes is to the opening of this game with Shadow wielding guns???? The story is awful throughout Shadow is somehow more slippery than Heroes controls I don't even know how they managed that every once in a while I think about giving it another shot but in the end there's just better games.

Sonic Riders I use to love Jet The Hawk no idea why but I use to be super entertained by his character, but I don't really care about the plot at all anymore. I remember the game taking quite a while to get good at but it was really fun once I understood how it all worked I used to do 99 lap races just to see how far I could get ahead of the cpus.

Sonic 06 a game that I think is more loved than hated anymore somehow which I'm not even disagreeing with I have a lot of fun playing 06 I've beaten 3 times after all but I can still admit the plot has tons of issues and it's super unfinished I can remember finding different parts in 360 version and ps3 version that were different out of bounds using the purple gem where one version seemed to be more finished than the other which I've never seen anyone talk about which always makes me question if I just dreamed it lol I think it was on the multiplayer mode but no one is gonna know what I'm talking about lol.

Sonic and the Secret Rings Now we get to my least favorite Sonic game and one of my least favorite games of all time I hate this game who thought oh lets put sonic in the Arabian nights that will make a fun time because it's not the controls are probably the worst controls I've ever had the displeasure of playing flick the wii remote to do a homing attack? Seriously??? Why?? I think another issue very few talk about is how repetitive the soundtrack is in general I mean almost every song repeats the same bits over and over and Seven Rings in Hand plays everywhere start up on wii menu? Seven Rings, opening? Seven rings, level select? Seven Rings, beat a level? Seven Rings, Final Boss? Seven Rings, credits? Seven Rings... I mean it's ridiculous I could go the rest of my life and near hear seven rings in hand ever again and be happy.

Sonic Unleashed my first sonic game I remember walking downstairs and seeing my parents playing the ps3 demo for Unleashed and wanting to try it so bad, and after trying it I would play it each day before school trying to get a new best time. I think Unleashed is a great game definitely top 3 sonic game for me I love the world adventure aspect of it.

Sonic and the Black Knight is a game you might be shocked to hear I love after my rant on secret rings but I think this is the best sonic game plot wise for years because after this the series goes downhill in terms of character writing and plot, but besides just that Sonic with a sword with fast paced swordplay is just fun for me. Side note Knight of the Wind is the 2nd best Crush 40 song I used to go back and forth on if I liked it more than What I'm Made Of.

Sonic Colors ughhh do I have to? I wanna go home and forget this one existed okay let's see I already said this is where the plot falls off a cliff that takes 12 years to recover but I hated this game for more than just that back when it came out it was praised as a return to form for Sonic when the game just isn't fun and I've never understood the praise for starters too many of the wisps just take away normal sonic abilities for my liking like why do I need spikes to spindash, why does hover light speed dash??? Way too much of the levels are 2D if I wanted 2d sonic I would of played the classics instead of buying a "Modern" game. Reach for the Stars sucks and shouldn't be used as Sonic's theme fight me.

Sonic Colors on the DS is shockingly good I actually had a blast playing it which shocked me Colors Ultimate should of been the DS version LOL.

Sonic Generations I love generations but I mostly go back to play Modern levels classic is alright with his op Spindash but I don't really like 2d sonic without momentum.

Sonic Lost World on Wii U/Steam is such a weird and confused feeling game for me this isn't what anyone expected after Generations and while I was willing to give it a shot it's just disappointing I don't care for the deadly six, I hate the weird level geometry, and the story is garbage.

Sonic Lost World on 3DS is a game I could not be paid to play again it makes the other version look like a 10/10 timeless game why is every level 30 mins long, why does every level have a worse gimmick? The world will never know.

Sonic Mania a perfect love letter to classic sonic this game is 2d sonic perfected even though that's not what I grew up with or my preference I would be lying if I said this game wasn't amazing it's only flaw would be it's lack of more original levels cause the 4 they have are fantastic.

Sonic Forces this is the game that hurt the most waiting for it expecting it to be good since it was supposed to be made by the same team that made colors and generations but none of the level designers had done level design before... why is every level over within 2 mins why is the plot so so so bad.

Sonic Frontiers a game that I had to wait for 5 years for and it was well worth the wait in my opinion more so after the updates made it far better it's a game that blew me away in so many ways the plot? Amazing respects the characters and the past. The music? The best thing I ever did in regards to this game was resisting listening to the music when it leaked a few days early cause the shock on my face when I got to the first boss and hearing the boss theme was metal? pure shock in a good way I'm not normally into metal music but Frontiers won me over. I also was shocked how much update 3 challenged me I loved it I know they've updated it now to not be so unforgiving but I think I'd enjoy it less now cause part of what made it feel so worth doing was how challenging it was.

The Murder of Sonic The Hedgehog was a fun visual novel that I forced myself to play through the day it came out to upload for April Fools and it was very tiring doing all the voices that long but I think it turned out good.

Sonic Superstars I hate this game I don't even know if I have the energy to explain all my hate for this game but why did I have to play it twice to get the true ending, why are the bosses so bad, why is almost everything in the final bosses instakills???? I hate it, I've seen people say oh it's more original than Mania therefore better, and I hate those people bro most of the levels are using gimmicks from older levels just because it's called something new doesn't make it new.

I've forgot to include some spinoffs and im too lazy to go back and put them where they go in order so

Sonic Riders Zero Gravity is a lesser version of riders but it has Catch Me If You Can which is a bop so I'd say it's only slightly worse than the OG

Sonic And Sega All Stars Racing is a lacking Mario Kart clone

Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed is a racing game I love one of the only kart racers to rival Mario Kart in my opinion.

Team Sonic Racing was super disappointing after Transformed.

Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games is the best party game on the wii and probably my favorite party game ever I have a blast playing London Party it's fantastic.

Mario & Sonic 2016 on the 3ds Never played the Wii U version but the 3ds version wasn't very fun.

I think that covers every Sonic game I've beaten and some of the ones I've not beaten.

You know I wish the whole skynet thing took off on the site sooner on mc I've been known as skynet for 5 whole years now but on the site it's not been really a thing I guess in part that's my fault for not embracing it here sooner. I know this will never happen but I kinda wish my username could have some fun switch effect to skynet like how leggy's name would randomly be zebra colored but I feel pretty confident david will never see this and also I think that makes leggy's less fun if I also had something with my name randomly changing.

As for that pokemon x ai he does have power on the mc server too so you might be on to something...

What is your favorite jersey and why?

becerra95 : You know I'm yet to stop him from winning anything yet. It's funny me and him talked about this the other day but I dont think I can stop him either way withmy current rank I lack the extra 50 free actions but with global im ip locked which severly would limit my time to compete. As for why I struggle to give up competing so much I do miss the thrill of competiton I used to have from PvP in games so maybe the fact I dont have that anywhere is a factor.


Dauntez : My favorite is green it was the easiest to compete for for me back in the day with screenshots and so many songs i liked but anymore its not as easy so Id say blue is my 2nd favorite it looks pretty good with my orange username as well.

gamerforlifeforever: No never been the biggest pc gamer or handheld gamer so while everyonce in a while I sligjtly consider it I think it'd end up being a waste.

Dauntez : Honestly I'm not sure when one is about a month away I start getting the urge to compete and going for rainbow banner a tie breaking 4th time, however when I consider how much of my life I'd have to dedicate to it for a month straight it becomes less appealing. I'm definitely more interested in doing winter since I only won once during winter as well as being busier at work during summer. At the end of the day I'm married now and I don't know if I'll ever be like yeah this is what I should be spending time on.

My favorite day of the week is probably saturday I love college football so during fall it's without a doubt saturday as I get to enjoy watching The Ohio State Buckeyes. The rest of the year nowadays depends on my schedule but whatever days im off that week.

What video game console do you regret buying the most?

gamerforlifeforever: I've only spent money on 2 consoles the rest have been gifts so my 2 options are the Wii U and the PS5 and while I don't regret either per say in hindsight the only thing I'd have missed out on with the wii u is smash 4 which I vastly prefer Ultimate to. Since pretty much everything got ported I'll say the Wii U the last game I hadn't bought that I wanted to play on Wii U got announced as well being Xenoblade X so I guess since it was right after I finally bought it they've been waiting onme all this time

What wing flavor do you like the most?

gamerforlifeforever: So I'm a strictly BBQ guy I can't do any of the spicy stuff at all and then I'm just picky so the other options that aren't spicy don't appeal to me at all.

gamerforlifeforever : I think the strangest thing I've ever eaten would have to be ranch pizza I forget what all was on it I think bacon and something else but every bite I was struggling to decide if I liked or hated it.

1. I've not spent a lot of time thinking about it in a while but, I'll say I admire people who can be pretty positive and can really lift others up around them I feel it's a rare thing and sometimes feels fake but I definitely admire people where you can tell it's just who they are. For a more general one I'll say having a good sense of humor is important

2. I struggle with this one I'm very much a in the moment kind of guy so I just do whatevef I wanna at that moment in time I get nervous or dread something if I plan too far ahead so a year ago I would of said traveling but now I've traveled overseas twice even if I only went to the same place twice. I guess to give a half answer I'll say speedrunning, I've never submitted a run but I at one point had a sibling competition with my brother ovef a level in Sonic Frontiers and while I never recorded runs if I would of I would of had around a top 10 individual level time for the level we kept playing at the time.

3. The coolest thing I've ever created? I guess since buolding isn't really my thing and I don't want to say my chair or a project where I was just helping my grandpa I'll have to say it was my mini game on the vizzed minecraft server S-Volt Blitz which is just a parkour mini game for the record but it helped me realize as much as I love video games I have no interest in making them for a living, it took months to make and with all the updates I've done over the years to make it more enjoyable who knows how many hours I worked on it.
