Here's how this works

Respond to this thread with up to 2 users you think would do a great job. The more users you choose, the less weight your votes have. So if you feel really strongly about someone, then vote for just 1 user.

Here's what determines the weight of your vote

The weight of a vote depends on the user and how many votes that user makes. Users who have a high rank, been around for a long time, and have a high post count, will have a vote with more weight. This is fair because those users should have a bigger impact on the results since they're more familiar with the community and have a higher reputation compared to someone who just registered with the single purpose of altering the results.

Here's the formula for figuring out the weight of your vote:
User Level * Power Level

And if you have multiple votes, it'd look like this:
(User Level * Power Level) / Vote Count

The User Levels can be viewed from their profile and also next to their posts to the left. A User Level is based on how long a user has been here and how many posts they have.

Here's the numbers that represent each Power Level:
0 = Newbie
1 = Normal
2 = Trusted
3 = Elite
4 = Site Staff
5 = Local Mod
6 = Global Mod

I hate to say it, because I really like Ex Palen, but Minuano has been insanely kind to me since my return. Which is particularly surprising, because I was sure he didn't like me, so perhaps I'm wrong, or maybe he's just that good at his job. Either way, I owe him.

the fact that these 3 are our only choices is a real shame, none of them are all that great. means the community has bad taste in leadership. theres one person of the 3 in particular who wouldnt be fit to lead even a flock of geese let alone be admin of a website:

drag00n365 : Not to derail the thread by too much, but just out of curiosity, who would you like to see on the team? If it's someone who didn't run, you might consider encouraging them. We're willing to give just about anyone a fair shot.

I am voting for great gramps aka Minuano. Why? Because he has great leadership as admin he and the other staff has come up with ideas that actully helped the activity of the site. it may had not been much but its better than nothing. and knowing him I know he has other great ideas to fulfil.

Joking aside, my vote goes to furret. Why? Minuano is doing a fine job this year no doubt but let someone get a feel for it. Have a bit of experience on the job to see how the role works and give some experience to it. (Unless furret was admin at one point then disregard all that, didn’t know).
