i think david is right, im dropping out of this competition and giving up, i hate having to spam so much and make it unfair to everyone, please forgive me people but im done

My wordy nature made me go overboard in Yellow, I averaged 163.4 words per post just yesterday. Also, probably my best ever try in Blue ended up in a third place, so yay me I guess.

I'm losing ground in Red and after yesterday I'm leading Yellow again, which simply means that all my plans are backfiring. My only choice is to almost stop posting altogether, but it's not actually a valid choice since I'll surely make a few posts if I'm around. Maybe I can start saying goodbye to my dreams, but I won't give up this early.

I always like that garnet-like color that makes the combination of Red and Blue. Red is my favorite single color, but if I have to say which combination of jerseys looks the best, I'm saying this rare Garnet jersey. I hope I can one day win it and witness on my own username how it really looks like.

Ex Palan: 163.4? What did you do? Post a couple of reviews? I like the red and blue combo look, too. It's almsot purple. 

Also, it's nice to see a new face. Hopefully, VGK stays active. It's been awhile since a new person came to the board and stayed around for awhile. 

Well, based on how 97% of active users on the site joined in 2014 or earlier, I can safely say that VGK would more in likely be the winner of the White banner this month. Unless someone new joins in and compete for the White banner and score at least 8 points, but the chances of that happening is 0.0000000000000000000001%.

EX Palen takes back the lead.

Kind of an unexpected Rainbow, though it won't last. I can either participate later today or tomorrow, but then I'll have two-three days where I won't be able to deploy my usual activity.

Despite my best efforts, I keep going strong in Yellow. Looks like I'll end up getting it, unless I totally disappear from sight to focus solely on Red. I don't see that happening, because just a couple posts net me enough words, and I'm sure to slip a few posts here and there.

Let's see if we can spice this up a bit, because almost nobody is doing anything extra on top of their regular activity. However, last time we started high and then dropped very low, so if we're starting low to end higher let it be welcome. There's still room for active competitors to step in and have clear chances to win, and hope is the last thing we lose (or so they say).

You know, I wasn't even thinking about getting 11 points yesterday, when I didn't even put in any effort into yesterday. Although with the sure deadliness of this month's TdV, anyone will probably score a jersey without even trying, or maybe even win this month without putting any effort into this month.

We need more competition.

IgorBird122 : That's how it's been for about a year now, sadly.

thing1 : Yeah, prior to my April Fool's 2018 return, I haven't be around for 19 months and notice the declined of activity towards Vizzed, especially during the TdV months.

It's best that David is finding another way to try and bring back some activity towards the site once again and actually bring some competition towards TdV once again and it actually becomes a competitive posting competition.... Let's hope for the best.

IgorBird122 and EX Palen grab 2 Jerseys.

I was kinda surprised on the high activity that I happen to show yesterday, I don't think I was going to score 1st in Yellow & Blue as well as 2nd in Red & Green, I personally think it was my most active day I had since my return 3 months ago. Personally, I don't think I would pull something like that again unless the site activity started picking up once again.


But never say never, I might just get lucky again and have a similar day like yesterday before activity on Vizzed starts picking up once again, but it would be hard telling though.

Well, my streak of semi-active days starts today, and looks like I could somewhat keep rainbow during that period. Red will be hard to keep, but I can fight back later on, even more if Igor manages to pass me on Yellow in the next days.

Depending on how results go, we could see a shift in the White Banner, which would be a first in a long while, even more not counting those who lost White due to no longer qualifying. Maybe we should start enticing those two users into some kind of personal war, which depending on how intense it becomes could end up as a battle for overall as well. My evil mind starts to surface

Speaking of White, maybe we should change the qualification for the last 180 days instead. Up until January, only those who registered after the previous TdV ended could qualify throughout the whole competition, something that doesn't happen anymore due to having three more months in-between, meaning that some users are simply left without a chance to participate in White if they happen to register in those three months. In a time where we question newbie retention, this could be one of the partial solutions to entice users to stay active even if it's just for a few months.

EX Palen : Yeah, I would fully agree. Since TdV is now every 6 months instead of 3 months, what's the point of having a maximum of 90 days since that person registered. It wouldn't be fair to those that joined between 91-180 days prior to the next TdV.

Even despite that this month, we have seen a fair number of new users competing, but if we extend the maximum days from 90 to 180, that would increase competition in the White banner.


Davideo7 : What we think you could do regarding the next TdV (January 2019) when it comes to the White Banner, could you extend the maximum amount of days be extended from 90-days maximum to 180-days maximum.


Also EX, with no8120's rate with green and red, I won't be too focused on towards those two jerseys, than I would be with Yellow and especially with Blue, Since I'm going to try for blue and become a Grand Slam Jersey winner (after winning Yellow and Red in January 2015 and Green in October 2013).

I agree with changing of the white banner. I think I might have brought this up in January. 

As fo te TdV itself, I just want the grey banner, so I can show people how I am, not just on this site, but in real life, too.

In my opinion, white banner should not be based on how old they are in days at all but instead post count. Anyone below 100 posts would be able to qualify for the white jersey. Once they go above 100 posts they no longer qualify for white jersey.

JigSaw : I suppose that arguement could be made. But the argument could be made to keep it the same way. 
Also, if somebody starts the TdV with say, 25 posts, and then in a week, they are 100 posts, can they no longer get white banner points? What about CP? They could just not post, and just do CP points, and cheat the system. The fact is that the whole TdV changed from a posting competition to a site wide competition when David changed it a few years ago. I think that there should be 2 competitions running simotaneously... one for the posters, and one for the contributors.
