Vizzed.co Minecraft Server Migrated, Enhanced & Updated
Minecraft Server Migration
I migrated the Vizzed.co Minecraft server to the main Vizzed.com server. I'm hoping they don't negatively affect each other, but if it does, be sure to let me know. This is part of my effort to cut costs.


Vizzed.com Now Works
You can now join the Vizzed Minecraft Server with the server address of Vizzed.com (before you had to use Vizzed.co).


Minecraft Pages Up Again
The Minecraft Section of Vizzed is up and running again. The MViz transfer now properly works (before, it wasn't deducting Viz from the sender).


Dynmap is Back
Dynmap is back up. It is still rendering the maps and that process can take a few days to render all of the maps.


Minecraft Software Updated
This doesn't really impact anyone too much but it gives Sonicolmstead and myself more control over the server. It gives us more customization options and it could potentially make the server run better.


Vizzed.co Minecraft Version updated
I updated the Vizzed.co Minecraft server to 1.21.5. Dynmap doesn't support 1.21.6 yet for our server type which is why we're not using the latest version, but as soon as Dynmap supports it, I'll update it.



New Plugin:
GriefPrevention Enter Titles
This shows a title on screen when you enter someone's properly, and it'll list the name of their property. The text shown can be adjusted if it becomes too annoying.

SPREE DAY - Earn Viz, Steam Games, & Raise Money for Vizzed!
Hello everyone, and welcome to April 2025 SPREE DAY! Let's come together as a community and go on a posting spree together!


In order to provide more places to post, some previously closed threads have been reopened over the past week. Be sure to take a look through the forums (beyond the "New Posts" page) to see what's open!


To make this Spree Day extra special, and to add a bit of an incentive, myself, supercool22, and zanderlex have put together some prizes and rewards that can be earned by posting.


Even though it's a Tour de Vizzed month, today should be about working together, NOT about competing against one another. We should be aiming to reach a high post total as a community, rather than aiming to make more posts as individuals than other users. You'll notice that none of the prizes or rewards depend on your post total relative to others. Instead, they are about how much you contribute to the community, and about how much the community accomplishes as a whole.

Spree Day Tomorrow, April 18th = Earn Prizes!
I am hosting a "Spree Day" tomorrow, April 18th. The objective is to have as many people as possible go on a posting spree together. It will be fun, and it will give Vizzed Board a nice little boost in activity.

There will be rewards available for those that participate, including Viz, Steam games, shiny Pokemon, and a surprise reward that I will reveal tomorrow.

I will make a thread and a second announcement at 12:00 am central time tomorrow with more information about how to earn these prizes.
