Super Smashing Bros: Brawl   Uzar
Super Smash Brothers Brawl is an extremely fun game.  Playing as a ton of
famous video game characters fighting to the grim bitter end, what’s
not to love? Plus, it’s the only way anyone outside Japan can legally
play as Lucas. So, there’s always that. But with all this hype for the
newest Smash Brothers coming out, let’s look back at the old new
one, Brawl.
Graphics: 8/10
The graphics here are great! There are definitely a few stages that
just show off how great the game can look (Rumble Falls, Battlefield,
and Bridge of Eldin come to mind...). They paid good attention to the
characters, and the stages. You can see Mario’s (oddly hyper realistic) denim, the stitching on
Link’s hat, and Waluigi’s pure awesomeness (As an assist trophy). But,
let’s be honest, that bland, wide-open desert stage  in adventure mode could have looked better.
Sound: 10/10
This game has a GREAT soundtrack! There are lots of songs from each
series that the characters are from, along with a few songs from Smash
Brothers Melee. And a few that have nothing to do with any of the
characters. Mainly the Famicom tracks. You’d think they would turn it to
NES, but a few of the songs from Famicom Melody weren’t released in the
US. Along with all the other music R.O.B uses…
All the music goes above and beyond what you would expect. And they
all are in a special section for you to listen to, if you’re like me and
think Mario and Fox’s yelps of pain kind of distract from the pretty
music.
Addictiveness: 8/10
This game can be extremely addicting; whether you like story mode,
(which sadly won’t be coming back in 4…) or if you have a few friends to
play with. Playing with other people in my opinion is what makes this
game so addicting. Playing solo, I usually get bored pretty fast and
just listen to music, or look at trophies. In multiplayer, you can
easily play for multiple hours with no problem.
Story: 7/10
The normal multiplayer game has no story whatsoever. But there is an
entire story mode you can play. The story for Story Mode is…Mario and
Kirby have secretly been arena fighters, like the gladiators of yore,
but with a twist. When you are “killed”, although defeated is a better
term, you turn into a trophy. If someone touches the bottom of the
trophy, you pop out perfectly fine. After Mario (Or Kirby, depending on
who you pick) defeats Kirby (or Mario) they shake hands. But, not all is
well with the world. The sky turns red, and The Halberd carpet-bombs
the arena with shadow bugs. Which turn into the basic mooks of the
Subspace Army, Primids.
Spoiler:
(Why Meta Knight is never in control of his faceship is beyond me…)
After taking down the Primids and Peety Piranha with the help of Zelda
and Peach. Mario and Kirby are confronted with a subspace bomb (Think a
nuke, only it makes large areas implode into another dimension) and
Wario. Wario at some point decided to work for the Subspace Army, and
shoots either princess with a Trophy Gun. He kidnaps them, and runs off.
This sends Mario and Kirby off on a grand adventure full of meeting
friends, and fighting…Very odd looking baddies. But on this grand
adventure, only three levels are from games are at least based on
locations the characters are from: Skyworld, where you first play as
Pit, The Jungle where you play as Donkey and Diddy Kong, and The Ruined
Zoo where you play as Ness, Lucas, and the Pokemon Trainer. Well, The
Ruined Zoo is technically a section of Mother, which didn’t have Ness,
Lucas, Porky, or Pokemon.
The story itself isn’t too great, but seeing how the characters work
together, and how they respond to situations (extremely in-character no
less) is what makes it so good.
Depth: 8/10
This game has the most of everything in the series so far. It has
the most: fighters, trophies, items, stages, music, stickers and more.
Although there is a lot of stuff, it’s not all that great.
Stickers are fun to look at; but they’re basically worthless. They
should have just spent a bit more time making them into trophies,
or…anything! Not even using them to buff your characters in Story Mode
is worth it. (Except when you’re trying to get boss trophies I guess.
But that still doesn’t help much.)
The trophies are always fun to look at, and to learn a bit more about the games they are from.
There are lots of good stages, but there are a few that are just
awful; mainly Mario Bros, and 75M (AKA: Level two of Donkey Kong). While
retro stages sound good in-theory. These two didn’t turn out right. 75M
really isn’t that bad, but it’s size can make New Pork City, and Temple
from Melee seem jealous at times. And then there’s Mario Bros…The
floors make it basically imposible to jump, and if you’re hit by any
crabs or turtles, it’s basically a one hit kill no matter what.
Difficulty: 7/10
If you’re playing by yourself, you can set the difficulty of
computer controlled characters. Ranging from “mind numbingly easy” to
“You can take on a professional Smash Brothers player now”. When you’re
playing with a friend, you’ll have at least some different experiences
with difficulty and skill. They can be near impossible to beat, an even
match, or maybe extremely easy. And while the computer is predictable,
people aren’t.
Things not covered but I felt like including:
Con: Gannondorf has gone from a Captain Falcon clone, to a slow,
middle aged Captain Falcon clone who can’t jump for the life of him.
Pro: Lucas and Mother 3’s possibly only mention by Nintendo
anywhere outside Japan. And Lucas is one tough fighter! (Not so much in
the games… *Gets sued by Nintendo for playing Mother 3*)
Con? Pro?: Brawl has some VERY different physics from Melee. Most
notable is that you fall a lot slower; almost as if you were on the moon
or something if you compare the two. But, air combat is lots easier and
effective as a result.. It’s really not that bad once you get used to
it. I’ve also heard people say the Wavedashing technique doesn’t work
anymore either. But that’s not completely true. It’s still possible with
Pikachu, Yoshi, Ness, and possibly a few others.
Pro: Final Smashes, are your character’s ultimate attacks. Some of
them are nearly impossible to dodge, some are easy to counter and not
too helpful, and others just don’t make sense *cough cough* Luigi *cough
cough*. But they will all turn the tide of the battle, if you can get
the Smash Ball in time that is
Pro: Assist Trophies summon non-playable characters to fight at your
side. They are great! One of them even got promoted to a full-fledged
fighter even. Sometimes they can help, and other times they fall off the
stage or don’t really help you much.
Con: The online fighting didn’t work out so well. As sad as that is,
it’s now kind of redundant since Nintendo canceled all Wii and DS wi-fi
game services.
Pro: We can all now rest easy now that we know the title on the back
of the box: “The Brawl to end them all” was just another entry in
Sakurai’s chronicle of trolling.
This game was great, but might go down as the weirdest in the series. It
was casual with it's slow falling, and multiple ways to unlock
everything. But at the same time it wanted to be hardcore with it's
Latin lyrics, addition of Solid Snake, and realistic graphics. Which,
just made it all the more hilarious to play. Seeing a grim, real looking
super soldier go toe to toe with a pink puffball, and a astronaut
commanding a horde of vegetables. And in another turn of events, it rebooted the Kid Icarus series and gave it a new style.
It was weird, funny, and still is an all around great game.

"Letting a brawl for the ages unfold, with a franchise of characters we love"   sonicthehedgeho..

*Vizzed Crowd Cheers and Applauds* AND Here it is lovely folks all around, we've returned for yet another terrific match up in the stadium tonight! All the way from the green hills he have our hero in blue, the machine plower, the chili lover! It's the well-known hedgehog SONICCCC!! Facing up in the other corner from the kingdom we all know with the shrooms and that dazzling pink princess, comes the worlds most powerful and strongest willed plumber! MAAARIO!! It's time to begin the fight that'll be remembered for decades onward with this match up we have going heeere, let's make sure we kick it out of the field today contestants! *Sonic57 stares off, smiling with a grin* *User of this tilts cap and thrusts hand forward* 3...2...1....GO! *Contestants rush for one another* Yes, the curtain has fallen once again! The melee for a fanbase has now since crumbled and withered away from what we love and now we've reached the turning point of an all out BRAWL!
But, what could possibly go wrong this time? Everyone in the land is peaceful, Master Hand hasn't caused any torment on this domain, and nothing strange has occurred during this competition so far? *Darkness starts to fall over stadium podiums* So I guess for once.... *darkness crawls in further* we'll finally get an event like this out of the way...with no worries! *Darkness consumes narrator* AHHHH!!! *Sonic57 and user jump back* Don't know what that weird mist is but we can't let it catch us guys, guess we'll just have to rush straight into the story now, so let's speed keeds. RAAAAH!! *Sonic57, User, Poke, Zerotails jump in to attack monster*

%%%XX----__ Bringing out our favorite characters, with some top-notch designs! __----XX%%%

*Slashes screen in half and rushes in from screen* Coming in from almost 2 decades of the fighting genre, it's been noted several times that this series isn't great due to the fact of the childish looking characters and backgrounds not being detailed enough (apparently). If you're one of these followers whom were so disappointed by the N64's or Melee's graphics, (not sure whether to laugh or hand you a tissue) then feel free to let that tear shed from your eyes as in this game almost every character has a more realistic tone to themselves....very similar to how Link looks in Twilight Princess compared to Ocarina of Time or Skyward Sword. So anyone whom had those worries before when thinking of ordering/playing this game, then lay down your shields and put your damage ratio to ease as you won't have those worries anymore. I'm sure that these words alone and that spicy intro won't satisfy that hunger you all have as a possible consumer of this product, so how about I just jump in and give you the juicy details on how the levels and just some benefits this game has in terms of its looks eh?

       |||___O~~~O Animated Cutscenes O~~~O___|||

Now before you get out your home-run bat on me let me explain for one second here and inform you that YES there were cutscenes in the adventure mode of melee; however, that was just short little scenes without much action or even really any talking what-so-ever. In this version they actually do perform various actions or the characters get to interact with others you'll meet inside the game. Good example is the opening intro I even recreated above for the introduction, when selecting the Subspace Emissary you'll begin with a fight against Mario and another smash character and they both open up kindly to one another before duking it out for a fun event. Even after the battle they shake hands and brush it off like nothing bad happened. I know a lot of people may rag on these scenes calling the game a movie at times instead of a game; although, personally in my opinion it never really went too far and I personally liked this feature as Melee I always felt like I had to have my hands on the controller without a single break in between levels to relax or just let loose.
These scenes can range from dark and mysterious, dangerous and heartwrenching, to just comedic relief and laughter filled memories! So if you're a fan of having a few watchable scenes to look back on a chuckle for a bit on then you have a good standing here and all in all it's nice to see some of our favorite characters in such an animated moment, almost like we get to watch a cartoon made for each individual person. Great job here but onto some levels we have!
     _________                              __________
     _/_/_/_/ Final Destination  _/_/_/_/_/

Probably the most well known level in the entire series, making a debut ever since the very original N64 release of this series. Looking back upon previous entries I'd definitely this has to be the most artistic/visually defined of all the different versions (though the original SMASH does come close to this one). How could that be so when in you consider that in Melee you go from a black void/hole type background to a nice blue sky mountain-esque range? It's easy to describe as there as SO many changes that occur while you fight for your life upon this stage, so let's cut the jabber and get to the case.
Right when you're thrown into the ring your background looks something similar to a galaxy ring (the ring which aligns all the planets) that you've seen in everyday normal science classes, then just shortly after that you're thrown into the same kind of kind of vortex as before in the previous game...which may lead you to think it kind of a copy and paste of that board...until...after going through the swirls and holes in this almost chaotic like world you're upon the beautiful and success driven part of this scene! The sunrising sea background, wherein you'll notice the gently ocean water in the background swaying with that nice yellow sunrise in the background, almost just pushing you to know that you'll be successful in this fight no matter how apocalyptic the background may look at times. Great job on this area; yet, I kind of prefer the landscape/platform from the N64/GC era better.
         _                                            _
      ::|_|:: _____ Pictochat _____::|_|

*falls into cartridge slot* ....nngh...little bit of a rough landing but...wait..WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR WII? Well sad to say you're not really inside that hardware anymore with this stage (not sure if that's a huge bummer or not?) as you've been transported to the living world of the DS's free to use chat system. This is probably the MOST creative level I've EVER seen in this series or in any fighting series to be perfectly honest! I can't recall the last time I really remember a game tossing itself into an old/existing console to fight around inside (Besides Flat Zone on SSBM & SSBB). In this area you stand upon the notification bar you'd normally see when entering the DS's chat system; however, though it may seem bland at first this stage will become pretty creative as drawings will suddenly appear inside the level (guess Master Hand might not only be controlling Final Destination anymore) in which these portraits can help aid or destroy you inside the ring so be careful or take a close look as to what you just may be leaping onto! One last little detail is that unlike Flat Zone which transforms your characters into 2D sprites, this level keeps your characters in 3D which is and interesting little detail. I think that's the best explanation I would give of this area without spoiling too much of this entire games arsenal of views that you'll notice during your playthrough so let's end this segment off now....

As you'll probably have noted from above this game definitely stepped up to the pavement of graphical designs and demands of what the fans ask for while trying to maintain some aspect of fantasy they wish to keep sacred inside each stage or player. Is it the best looking Wii game for 2008? No I wouldn't say that; but, is it great looks wise in terms of a fighting game? That's where I'd definitely shout YES, as it improved so much over the past 2 titles and is still a beauty to enjoy without making us forget that iconic SMASH BROS feel! Not the strongest game but for 2008 and considering most fighting games I'd have to give this journey a 9 out of 10 for graphics!

/~~~==___ Bringing a nice symphony of music, to this one of a kind battle ___==~~~

This is usually always the deal sealer if you weren't already turned one by the new visual appeal of this game when looking back at Melee and it's predecessor, cause the music in this game just....ohhh......soooo goood!! If you were a fan of brawl or just the original game then you're probably going to be in love with this soundtrack as well. I'd even go so far as to say it's probably my favorite entry in the series in terms of music listing and themes! There is a HUGE variety of songs you can pick in between and so many of them range from really old classics to ones you may have just heard last time you fought on the brawling boardwalk but just redone to sound better/advanced. There a so many songs I'd be able to pick but I'll just go with my personal favorite out of 3 songs! Let's rock and roll!!

       /<<<___ Star Fox 64 Theme___ >>>/

Based on the not so subtle ending to the last sentence on the intro to this segment one of my favorite themes is a remix of the original N64's themes or just the series main theme in general (as it's mostly the same throughout every game). If you liked how pumped the music got you before with it's strong and upbeat music at times where you'd just feel like jumping up and begging to just jump inside your own arwing right then and there? Well before you take flight you might wanna check your g-diffuser on this remix as it takes that kind of emotion and amplifies it to the highest degree! Not only do you get to hear that classical jingle right when the song 'wolfs' up, but immediately after hearing that euphoric jingle it goes into like some "drop that jelly on the dance floor" kind of base! As if you're just going to jump into that arwing and shoot up some baddies in style, then going home and shaking your fur all about with your tails never stopping on that dance club kind of track! Gets you even MORE pumped up than before (never knew that was even possible?!) and makes the journey/battle upon this stage sooo much better and enjoyable!! Just...onnngh....get me the Star Fox Team's sign up chart!

   |  ___                              ___   |
   |_|___== Mario Bros ==___|_|

*Falls inside 80's arcade cabinet*  /_ Sonic57 - x3 /_ ...Ahh bringing back old and classic memories at its finest point :3 < 3 if none of you know even despite my name I love the original arcade Mario games as they just have such a good feeling of gameplay and the soundtrack is always memorable and is even FUN to get stuck in your head at times (whom would ever imagine having a song stuck could be good?). My favorite thing is how they recreated the intro that pops up when you first enter a stage after completing the previous one or just after hitting the start button to begin the game, we all know that sound the "Da..Dadadum...dadadada dum! Da da dum dadadada dum!" Just ohhhh brings back that feeling of nostalgia when thinking about the past and playing this game alone in your room as a child with a smile on your face.
Already the music is great but ohhh when you see the actual stage it takes place on it just makes this theme 1000x better! As it gives you that sense of nostalgia like I had said before but also gives you that kind of challenging feel inside you almost like you're actually playing an arcade game again and want to be quick on your reflexes, making you completely forget your in a fight since the song is also so tranquil and superb to just lay back to and ease yourself from a hard day. So if you're an old fart like this hedgehog and you enjoy listening to some classical tunes while relaxing after some kind of a harsh day then this song would be perfect for you along with the fighting spirit the game will give you from playing!

       __/__ Main Theme __//__/

I'm not sure if I'm that only person whom actually enjoys watching the intro's to games before I press play and begin to enjoy the game, as it just feels like such a treat to hear that melody and those wonderfully crafted scenes of the characters and areas within the game before you even start the title card of the actual game. Now while Melee went all out conflict and just started the theme by throwing you onto the scene with a fast beat and a very serene melody throughout the intro movie, this game decided to take a step back (and not in a bad term of step back) and look at the horizon of what makes this series great. Bringing in a more powerful and chorus like atmosphere into the game making it just send shivers down your quills or spine from just the voices of the operatic-ish singers, upon seeing how many characters are being unveiled from just the intro this theme really puts into perspective just how much fun you'll be having and the dangers that'll lie ahead during this playthrough!
The best way I can describe it is if you've heard Ocarina of Time's ending theme and how in the background later on you'll have a chorus join in and lend their voice to the song? This is exactly that but raised to a higher degree and it's filled with such a huge action paced theme and it just blends both operatic type music with classic Nintendo music and just creates something beautiful that I'd listen to ANY time and would NEVER get tired of it! Can't say exactly what you'll be seeing in it but j-just look up the intro and if the music/animated intro doesn't make you fall in love...then...well I don't know what to tell you because I can't help but just giggle or smile everytime I hear this theme < 3 sooo good and definitely the best and most involved of the themes in this series! AMAAAZING job here Nintendo!

We're coming up on the time limit for this stage so I'll end it off here by saying that I feel the music did such an amazing job this time around just like the previous time and it earns soo many more bonus points for what you're able to do with the music and the fact that there is a HUGE collection of songs to unlock or just listen to in general, with most always being a pleasure to hear <3. This movement of music (like most awesome soundtracks) just...just gets the very rare and prestigious 10+ out of 10 for sound!

     >>>***!!! A series continuing to prove, that smashing people delivers SO much fun <3 !!!***<<<

Well the addictiveness of brawl can be easily described when looking at.....OH FORGET THAT! Anyone whom is a fan or Nintendo or anyone that knows of this series is already aware of the HUGE mass appeal that this game represents and gives out to thousands and even millions of others. It gained a huge following from when it was first made on the N64 after having taken the place of a tossed away prototype, and even today it's still getting screamed at for being an amazing fighting game to play with friends or just with the entire family. Taking the place of oh SO many Nintendo franchise characters (or even other revering characters that have joined thanks to certain producers joining with this franchise) and placing them inside a ring to fight for the crown of SMASH HISTOOORRY....well not really but just more so as an fun event and in this games new story mode, they do it to bring peace to the world that's now under the reigns of a purple darkness covering the land!
What really makes this game very addictive to smash fans or at the very least to me is just "how" much content was able to have been put on the disc, as it offers so much more than the last 2 were ever able to accomplish on their respective systems. I've already stated that there is a new story mode feature in this game which I'll talk about more in the story and depth parts of this review *grabs back of clothing* so no need to rush ahead past the checkpoints. Moving onto something I like to mention in each one of these series is what makes each and everyone of them special in their own way, for instance with the original I would say that it's HARD punches and really damaging attack were the high point in that game...while with Melee it was more so about the faster paced action mixed with semi-harming attacks against foes! Brawl also has a special talent of it's own or more so like a feature, it's the fact that just like in Melee the characters are semi-damaging (though some characters are better and worse on here instead of usually being equal) and the fact of just how MANY characters there are to choose from.

Call this out as a useless subject to talk about; but, when you had so many people complaining about how a lot of Melee characters were clone/ports of other characters, I kind of have a leeway to talk about this as it's something they changed and upgraded from Melee! Before there were 26 characters and now they've upgraded it to 35 (technically 39 if you count certain players and another characters form) playable characters and they've changed it around so mostly every person has their own specific traits and there isn't as much "copy and pasting" going on anymore, which I think though it wasn't as huge of an issue this definitely does raise the addictiveness value of the game quite a bit!

        *-x Unlockables (Pt 1) x-*

Just to make things easier on the depth section I'll talk a little about what makes this game addictive with a portion of the unlockables that you can collect which as (big surprise to everyone) you are able to unlock stages inside this game from doing certain procedures/tasks. What makes this addictive is how most of these stages are definitely worth the effort of unlocking (like the Mario Bros Stage, where background enemies can be used as weapons) and are usually a great throwback to older games. The one I've seen the most amount of people bounce over is the "Big Blue" stage from Melee because of how great people thought this stage was back then and I personally enjoy seeing it come back as the 2 different ship paths you can fight against really make the stage interesting to battle on! The second easiest thing to talk about would have to be the unlockable characters, now granted I'm not going tell all of them and will only mention ones I think are the best for getting that temptation running to buy the game. The first and most obvious one that joined brawl is ME! ....well not really me but that's right Sonic has joined the brawling fest after 2 additions just passed him by and if it comes to me I'd definitely say he's one of if not the best character you can unlock inside this game, he's super fast and due to that fact his attack speed really makes up for his lack of damage when compared to characters like Link or Captain Falcon.
The "second" person I'd say that was an amazing add-on for this series has to be Meta Knight! *hears d'oh I missed in background* Now why do I enjoy this character when he's just really like a beefed up version of Kirby...even games from the Kirby series have proved that, with him just looking like a Kirby underneath his mask? Sure he may just seem like a buff but I actually really like him for the fact that not only does he feel like a stronger version of our pink plushie, but he also feels like if you took a certain "angels" wings off or replaced a certain "fox's" recovery attack and placed them on Meta Knight as his wings. It makes this character so nice to controls and very powerful at the same time (though I hate it when people just spam his A attack). That's all I feel we need to talk about here so let's end this off quickly.

The tides of darkness are getting closer as we approach the end of this story only a few more areas ahead, with everything together between the characters/loads of added maps/alongside the "newest" single player mode, it's easy to say that this game definitely earns a 10 out of 10 for it's addictiveness and replay value! Let's head to the rest area up ahead as we talk about the lore behind this adventure next!

""""::---___,,,, The Darkness of one story finally given to a game like never before ,,,,___---:::"""

We've reached that time of year again ladies and gentlemen it's time for the wonderful smash events!! We have newcomers coming on board ready to start their match and it appears like it will be a swell one after how well the last match turned out :) ! As such we'd like you to welcome MARIIIOOO and KIIRRRBY *User takes cap off and taunts, Sux smiles and waves at crowd* What could possibly turn out frooom this event! A nice and cleaan battle is what we'd like to see so let's give them some space for the fight *see's the two of them shake hands before noticing something* Hmm what could that possibly be? Seems to be a mist that covering someone over there *Eidetic pops up in misty presence* W-What is Bowser doing here?! T-There wasn't any entrance fee for him....and why I-I-is he glowing with a weird purple mist all around?! *Darkness starts covering crowd and announcer* AHHHHH...nn........K-KILL ThOsE CoNtEsTaNs!! *Sonic, Zero, and Poke jump in ready to fight!*
This terrible nightmare has now occurred upon the once peaceful Smash Land, a simple game turning into a nightmare for fans/players/and even the residents themselves. For some strange reason Bowser the evil koopa king of might and the supreme lord of agony in Hyrule Ganondorf have both decided to work together, stopping any events from taking place tonight! (though one of them doesn't seem as trusting towards the other). What could be causing this weird substance to flow across the lands and changing others into these mindless beasts? *See's Wario as he lets out tiny fart cloud* (Eh?!) .....No as much as you wish Wario's engine isn't what's causing this issue so yeah "you missed and d'oh!". There's only one thing we can do, and it's to gang up all of us together to find out the root cause and put it to an end even if not everyone of us will be used in battles that will surely be up ahead. Let's find out this cause so we can bring peace back and finish our wonderful match that we were planning out before!! Ready? 3..2..1...GO!! *Everyone runs out together* ...... *mysterious shadow stands far behind characters with fusion gun*

Smash Bros Brawl is actually the first game in the entire series of Smash to actually have somewhat of an actual story, while the other ones were left mostly to interpretation. This is because of the games new "Subspace Emissary" mode which created its own story and is basically like the adventure mode from Melee but made into a full fledged story and having many more areas and resources you'll need to explore. Now sure this isn't much of a story and nowhere near what you could call an amazing story for the system; yet, coming from a series which hasn't ever really had a story I'd say that it's pretty great and I never really understood why a fighting game would NEED a story anyway? Either way, based on what we know of it not really having a story...and the fact that it's actually quite a good one from having nothing much to work on it's amazing < 3. Therefore, this results in me giving the story for Smash Bros Brawl a 5 out of 10.

        |++==__ Just like any brawl, there's much to be seen and it can last you an eternity ___==++|

Probably the most important section besides the addictiveness spot lays right here in the depth portion, since this game as we've iterated many times now has just stockpiled itself full of features and blown everything out of the competition in terms of what you're now able to do inside the game. As stated above there are now 9 more characters than before totaling that to a whopping 35 characters to pick from, of course though you'll have to unlock most of them before you have a whopping bunch. The great thing unlike before is that you actually get to start out with 21 characters from those 9 that you must challenge and defeat, which I personally feel is a great feature since right off the bat you're able to experience a whole variety of characters without having to worry about running out or using the same person again and again since you've tried almost anyone you knew you'd like after only 4 matches.
There are amazingly 41 different stages that you can play on during your smash fest against computers in VS mode or with some friends that you might have tagging along with your inside your room; and yet, even if you haven't played this game much or if this is you first time then just like with how many characters you're given at the beginning you're also given many stages to play through as well (29 to be exact, with the other 12 hidden/locked). So already with just that alone you're given A LOT to work with and it seems like the score standing for this section will be fairly above average so far right? Ohh....we haven't even reached the half of it; keeping that in mind, before I move onto the other features I'd like to explain what the Subspace Emissary thing is all about now that we're in the proper category.

The Subspace Emissary is basically a story driven version of the adventure mode you saw/played during the review of Melee for the Gamecube, as in this game mode you get to play like you would normally in a classic mode esque kind of fighting style; but, the main difference is that you'll be viewing cutscenes that follow the subspace's  apparent story. Because of this you'll be going from cutscenes, into the normal smash fighting we know and love, then going back to the adventure map you're given once you start up this mode! From the map you'll be progressing left and right throughout the story and let it be know that these few level can take several minutes to a couple hours to simply defeat so don't plan on trying to do it all in one night's sitting. One important thing to note is that if you don't want to unlock certain characters through event matches or by passing classic mode in a certain way, you can just progress through this story and as long as you PASS the level they're found in then you can keep them after you beat the level. That's all I'll be able to tell you about this mode so if you want to know more then I'd recommend checking the game out or think of buying it, can't spoil everything now for you can I? :P Onto a few other noteworthy options....

          ~>--__???Extras???__--<~

Now onto the whole jibber jabber of the review here I can talk about all the special things you're allowed to do inside the game outside of normal gameplay features, and probably the one I'd love to talk about most is the "Coin Launcher" Mode. For those of you whom tried the Lottery function in Melee and didn't like how it was 100% luck based and the coins only really improved your chances by little to not much at all? That was a pain and I'll even admit to it, since I wanted to get all the trophies and that was the only real way to do so (besides going through adventure mode) which made things difficult. In brawl they made thing so much nicer and heck I'd say even sweeter to collect stickers, how so you may ask? Well instead of the random slots thing you're put inside a turret on a air hockey-ish board and along the way obstacles and stickers will randomly appear in which you can shoot in order to gain more coins (ammunition) and stickers for your characters, this makes this scenario not only rewarding but very fun as well and heck EVEN the MUSIC is awesome in this mode! Also stickers in case your wondering can be attacked to all your characters inside the Subspace Emissary mode and they will make your character stronger or advance some of their abilities by a bit or a huge chunk.

The Final thing I'd like to talk about in this extras/options segment is the fact that in most stages you'll have an abundance of songs that might play each time you go into a certain stage and heck there might be a few songs you love a lot or ones you'd just prefer to skip past. If you've had that feeling or wish that had been implemented before then this is your lucky game as in the options menu on the title screen you're allowed to adjust just how often a song can be played in a specific stage whether it's: "Really often, moderately, low, or not at all" you're allowed to choose exactly how that goes which I find to be an amazing idea as not everyone may like the same music and this could mash things up for yourself and/or you and your friends. So this is a great feature and thank you for implementing it!

*breathes in and out harshly* haaa...that brings us to our long winded end of this segment. Judging everything that you've seen above and other random things I'm sure you'll be able to find on your own inside this game, I feel that it's safe to say this game deserves no less than a 10 out of 10 in terms of its depth factor!

%%%///___ !!Taking your ultimate skill as a warrior, and putting it to the test!! ___%%%

One of the simplest sections to review and also the most different amongst any reviewer is the difficulty rating/setting for the Smash Bros universe. I've personally always rated these games as a 5 out of 10 mostly for the fact that these games are really just based on the skill level of a player and whom it is that's playing the game, I mean if you were to play against your 10 year old cousin they might find the game to be harder than you do since they doesn't know all the skills and tactics that they can use unlike yourself whom has played the game for years or just have better experience with how to handle fighting situation in games. In that regard the cousin might rate the game a 7 or 8 out of 10 while you'd have it be lower? So there really is NO way to rate the game exactly on how difficult it may be; however, the second reason why I'd rate the series the score I first said above is the fact that you are also able to pick which difficulty option you usually play in Single Player mode (Very Easy, Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard) which means you kind of have free reigns to make the game as undertaking as you wish. How does this game stack up in comparison though? I'd say only a fair bit higher in comparison to the past 2 games for 2 specific reasons: "One level change, and the Smash Ball".
Basically in Brawl they decided to take out the "very easy" option and replace it with an "Intense" level option, making it the hardest level you can possibly pick in the game and minorly changing how hard the game can become. The second reason the "smash ball" is a level changer for the fact that almost everyone's smash ability allows them to become invincible and therefore making it almost a guarrented chance to KO someone off the level; and yet, there are still chances in which a person can mess this up by using it with no one around or facing toward them so they still aren't in the safe zone just yet.
Most of these abilities are powers that can be used a screen clearer's (Mario's fireball barrage which is almost like a spiraling laser of fire, or Sonic's Super form) with other just making them severely stronger or causing the whole area to become a possible deathtrap wherever you stand. This in turn can make the game more difficult when playing against others or inside single player as well, so considering all of this I'd say that the average score can be raised by 2 ratings! I still stand by the notion that the game is based on skill and the difficulty can't be determined as equal against every person playing the game; but, I would say that these additions does raise the difficulty of Smash Bros Brawl to a 7 out of 10 for this section!

*gets teleported onto final destination flooring* Alright guys....it's time to stop this madness once and for all! *raises hand above quills* It's time we stop this destruction once and for all master hand! .....e-eh? W-What's going on?! *see's chains holding tRIUNE prisoner* I-Isn't Master Hand the source of this trouble?!  *see's shadow emerge behind master hand* W-Who the heck are you, monster! You're the one who's done all of this then I presume! *Davideo appears as Tabuu* Well I don't care whether it's you, master hand, bowser, or the people that created us! We'll all join together in order to stop this destruction of our peace and land! We'll make sure we end this pointless BRAWL! RAAAHHHH!!!! *Everyone charges towards Tabuu and attacks*

One of the best fighting games   noobpwner59
Super Smash Bros Brawl is a sequel to the highly successful game Super Smash Bros Melee. That game was the best selling game on the Gamecube and was loved by critics and fans, when a sequel was announced, people knew that Nintendo would have to work hard to top Melee. They delivered and exceeded the fans high expectations, and made one of the best fighting games of all time.
Graphics:   Graphically the game looks good. The characters models look great and the stage backgrounds are high detail and often have a lot going on in them. The animations of the characters are really smooth and the cutscenes of the story mode look fantastic. However even though they are really good looking graphics, they aren't quite as stunning as other games on the system like Mario Galaxy or Sonic Colors. While not the best on the system they are still great and work well for the game. 8/10
Sound:   This game has one of the best soundtracks I ever heard. It has rips of some of the best songs in video game history, and if you want to hear something new, this game offers plenty of that to. It has fully orchestrated remixes of some of the greatest gaming songs, making the greatest even greater, the remixes sound fantastic and are very well made. The original soundtrack is also great, the main theme of the game is absolutely beautiful. The rest of the original songs are also great, even though many of them are just remixes of the main theme. It is a amazing soundtrack with a great mix of all sorts of music ranging from opera to metal. 10/10
Gameplay, Design, and Addictiveness:   The game plays just like the previous installments, but if you haven't played them, it is a 2d fighting game, but with a twist, it controls must more smoothly and is much more fast paced then other fighting games, and instead of trying to drain the opponent's health, you are trying to weaken them, then hit them so hard   that they go flying off the screen. The gameplay has had a few additions like some new items and characters. The new items are mostly great and are extremely fun to use. The characters are fun to use and have different types that can give variety, however some characters play in similar fashions. Another problem with characters is some of them are overpowered, I don't find this a huge problem, except with one character: Pikachu, he is so cheap and a player who knows how to use him will have the biggest advantage in battle. There are other gameplay modes that do change the gameplay, there is a story mode that involves a bit of platforming, and the platforming is good, the fighting is much better. There is also some challenge mode, and a few mini games like home run contest, trophy shooter (not the actual name, just what I call it), and target practice. They are all great except I do prefer the target practice from Melee.  It has a lot of replayability, it has a ton of singleplayer options, and some of the best multiplayer out there. It plays great with smooth gameplay and loads of options, it also is highly replayable and can possibly last hundreds of hours. 10/10
Story:   The only thing in the game that has a story is the story mode, but I am not a big fan of the story. It is basically about a group of villains who try to turn the heros to trophies and bring the world in a dimension known as subspace. The biggest problem with the story is it changes a lot and has a lot of subplots for the other characters, which really gets confusing. Another problem is a lot of it is just filler, some of the levels and cutscenes don't actually follow the main story and that just adds to the problem. It does involve every Nintendo character teaming up, and they did that the best they could. Although the filler was annoying and the story was confusing and had too much going on, it still did a ok job at bringing all the Nintendo characters together, and remember, the story is probably the least important part of the game, so this doesn't count for much. 6/10
Depth:   As I mentioned earlier, there is a lot of replay value and game options. The game has so many different options that changes the game, there are many different characters and stages and the stages have a lot to do, and almost every stage has something different to do. Even the story takes quite a long time, taking about 10 hours. The other options can also last hours, and I'm sure there are many people who have more playtime on multiplayer on this game, then all modes in any other game. The game has loads of options and loads to do. 10/10
Difficulty:   The game's modes range in difficulty. The normal versus mode on singleplayer is pretty easy, even on the highest difficulty it still isn't too much of a challenge once you get the hang of the game. Story mode can get hard but the game has a sticker system that makes the characters stronger and decrease the difficulty, however there are some challenging parts. The event mode can be quite challenge, as well as other challenges like all-star. Although the game can be easy, there is enough challenge for hardcore players also, and the difficulty fits any crowd of gamers. 7/10
Overall:   The game is well made, and very fun, the game fits any type of gamer, and there are tons of options, it is one of the best wii games ever made, and is easily worth $50, even if that can be a little steep for some games, this one well justifies the price. 9.5/10
A must play

Best Smash ever. SSBB Review!   greenluigi
Hey guys! Today, I'll post my second review about Super Smash Bros Brawl. I'll try not to do too many repetitive words like my first review. First, I'll share you guys on how I got the game. It was end of January 2011, I went into a game shop. I saw a Wii that its cover had Mario, Pikachu, Link, Meta Knight etc... I asked the seller what it is about. He told me that it's Super Smash Bros Brawl. I bought the game and I really enjoy it since now! Now let's talk about the Graphics.
Graphics: 10- I must say, its Graphics are really good. Now the first time I saw Mario in this game, I said that his clothes were really realistic. The game's graphics are darker than Super Smash Bros Melee, obviously. Now the stages of Brawl's graphics are remixed than the original. I meant is that there is a stage of Super Mario Sunshine per example and they added in Brawl, they remixed its Graphics. Now every character has a darker appearrence. Now it's a bit scary lol. I mean like imagine in the early years, Kirby the cute pink guy, he's so colorful that he appeared in amazing games but his appearence in Brawl, his graphics are different if you ask me. But... why would I give this a 10? Well in the original smash brothers game for the Nintendo 64, the graphics sucks. I mean now in our time the new graphics are WAY BETTER than the N64's one. In the sequel of the original, Super Smash Bros Melee for the Nintendo Gamecube's graphics got better at least. Except some character's faces like Mario, if you notice his face is a bit ugly and funny XD. Now in Brawl finally, he has a NORMAL face thank god! It's also marks some characters for the first time in the Smash family like Wario, Meta Knight, Pit etc... so that's why it deserves a 10. Now enough talking about the graphics. Let's talk about something else like the Sound!
Sound: 10- It is 100% a 10! Here are tons of reasons why and I will explain it! Some of its own themes are really good like when you are at the Main Menu, its theme is excellent. It's main theme is beautiful as well! The Battlefield's are good as well. Reason number 1 is that its own themes are good. Let's talk about another reason! It has many remixed themes like Termina Field from Majora's Mask, Super Mario Land Underground theme, Luigi's Mansion, EarthBound etc... those remixes are waaaay better than its original. Well some of them you can say "Oh, that remix sucks. Its first one was better". And there is lots of themes! I must say, this Smash has Nostalgia in it. I recommend you guys that if you are true Nintendo fans, buy this game and you will feel like the paradise! Like I said, so many remixed themes that it's like Nostalgia! Brawl is in fact, the best Smash that contains the best themes so far (I'll of course buy the new Smash and listen to the themes and then I'll tell you my opinion.) Now I think that's all what I have to say for the Sound. Let's move on something else!
Addictiveness: 10-  That's right fellas, I'm still playing this game till now (I play this game more than Super Mario Galaxy 2,) Well Super Smash Bros Brawl is my most wii game played, it is my favorite Wii game ever. New Super Mario Bros Wii and Wii Sports were a close one. I give this a 10, but why? Well because I'm playing Brawl over and over because I'm doing matches using different characters. I do some other modes too like Tourney, Target Smash, All star battle etc... I listen to some of its themes etc... trust me guys, when you will play this game, I think that you'll be 100% addicted on it. I don't know why but I'm addict on it forever! Another reason why because there is a feature called 'Vault'. I go on it and you can see characters information (Well if you unlock them in trophies of course). You can even view not playable character informations too! When you view an information to an object per example, it marks it's appearences in some old games! There is another mode in the game called 'Nintendo Gallery'. You view ALL Nintendo released games on all consoles and handheld systems till Brawl! That interest me so much! I always do matches in Brawl. So how I'm 100% addicted on it, that marks a 10 :). Let's talk about euh... read below!
Story: 9- For the first time in the SSB series, Brawl contains a true story mode, 'The SubSpace Emmissary'. Its story is amazing, especially at the end, all characters are together and fight against the final boss! Well the thing I got upset is, the characters don't talk! I mean some of them have voice actors like Charles Martinet, the one who voices Mario. Meta Knight talks but he didn't in story mode :(. Pit talks when you win a random match as him, but he doesn't talk too in story mode! Unless characters does sound like Link, he does 'AIYA!!!' all the time XD. Well except in ONE small scene, Solid Snake is revealed and says a small sentence:"Kept you waiting, huh?" He said that in a low voice. I immediately heard him when he said that. The thing that I didn't like in the story that some of you can find it 'confusing'. Well because in the beginning there is Mario, Kirby, Zelda and Peach and later something bad happens... later Pit joins and helps Mario. But SUDDENLY later we are at the jungle with Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. You know what I mean? I mean is per example, who knows one of you a movie called 'August Rush'? I saw it with my class and I didn't really liked it. Because it was REALLY CONFUSING! Suddenly it happens with the boy, later suddenly with the mother and at the end they reunite together. EXACTLY for Brawl's story mode! At the end, every characters reunites together! So its Story Mode deserves a 9, not a 10. I still have to talk about Depth, Difficulty and Overall. 3 things to do left. On our way for the Depth!
Depth: 10- Okay, most of you when you get the game, you're gonna start with Story Mode of course to unlock every character. When you're half finished it, fans will say "Oh it's so easy! I'll finish the rest today!" Well when they arrive to the final level, it is a HUUUGE level. You must fight every false character (except for a few ones). And fans will realize that the game is long, especially at the end. Well it is long of course, except if you are a professional gamer and you will beat it early LOL. Well, it will take you quite long to unlock every character. It will take you a while to unlock things in the game and it will take you A LOONGGGGGGG time to unlock EVERY EVERY thing in the game. Every trophies, themes, characters etc... oh and don't worry, the controls are easy to learn (Depends what you are using. You can play the game with Wii Remote, wii remote plus Nunchuk, the Wii virtual system and the GameCube Controller). You will immediately learn first the basic moves, they are some moves that you hold your foe and punch him/her something like that. They are hidden moves in the game! If you are a true Brawl master, you must master EVERY character's moves and FINAL SMASH! There is two ways on how to beat the SubSpace Emmisary but I don't know how to explain it so sorry :C. You can watch on Youtube for info! Now next stop, Difficulty!
Difficulty: 8- Well the game is of course hard. But, you can set the difficulty of your foe. In Story Mode, you can set the difficulty too. It gets an 8 because even though like per example you want to beat a Marth difficulty level 4, the match will still be hard. You know what I mean? Well it deserves an eight too for several reasons, like unlocking every character, unlocking trophies etc... so the game is hard, takes a while to beat. To unlock everything, it's intense! Yes, intense is the hardest difficulty on some modes like Target Smash, Boss Battles etc... well anyway, I didn't unlock every themes but it's hard to unlock them by doing some challenges etc... even some are IMPOSSIBLE to beat XD. Now end of the line, the game is 100% hard to beat and our FINAL BATTLE VS Overall!
Overall: 10-Like I said before, it's my favorite and best wii game ever. It deserves a 10! It is also Nintendo Selects! I think the game got success more than Melee. But Melee is good though I never ever played it :(. Everything is excellent in this game. My favorite thing of it is the Nostalgia! The remixed themes reminds fans of good old times... I suggest that you try every mode in the game! Now that's for my review! Reply to it to tell me what you think and see you guys of my amazing review adventures next time!

super smash bros brawl review   austipokedude
So do you remember those two great games that we all know and love.Well this game is the sequel to those two games you all know them and love them they are called super smash bros and super smash bros melee yes this is the game we all love super smash bros brawl. This game was my first wii game I will never regret the choice I made in gamestop that day when I brought home super smash bros brawl.Time to get started.
graphics:Yep the graphics improved from melee by so much now all the nintendo characters look alot better and if you put melee and brawl together you will see how much the graphics have improved. Not just the characters improved the stages did as well the stages had great graphics as well stages such as mario circuit and delphino plaza.
Sound:Every move the characters used made a real sounding sound so yeah of course I would rate this high. The music in each stage is what really stood out the most it used the great songs from the games the stages were originated from and put them in the stages for you to listen to while you have fun brawling with your family and friends.
Addictiveness:Do I really have to get into this in detail I literally still play this game with my friends and family it never gets boring never does which actually impresses me to say so.Out of all the games I played this game just has a feeling to it a never ending feeling of gaming and having fun with my family and friends do not expect to get bored so fast I owned this game for five years and it never ever gets old which shocks me as well.So I gave this section a high rating as well for never getting boring when I say never I literally mean never it is just weird to say so.
Story:Yes this time there is a story it is called subspace emissary but unfortunately has no voice acting but is a pretty good way to unlock characters besides doing classic mode. The story is a bit unique and is quite hard to understand for the characters do interact but doesn't interact with speech. But other then that it is a pretty great story.
Depth:There is so much to do you can brawl so many times if you want but first lets go over classic mode.Classic mode is pretty much the same from the other games you fight through various stages and hope you get a challenger to approach. You can unlock many characters such as falco and some new ones such as lucario. You can go through the subspace emissary which is actually pretty long story mode. You can complete challenges to unlock music, stickers, and trophies. You can also play short two minute demos of old nintendo games but there isn't much of those to tell you the truth.
Difficulty:This game gets pretty hard but only if you decide to yes you can adjust the difficulty but certain difficulties are required to unlock some characters such as toon link and sonic. So it is adjustable so I gave it a pretty good rating for that reason I did.
Overall:This is one of my favorite wii games there is so much to do and so much to unlock. There are alot of new unlockable characters which makes the game longer. The game never gets boring to me and amuses me.If you have a wii this is a must buy.

Smash bros brawl totally a plus   SuperCrash64
This is Super Smash Brothers brawl For the Nintendo wii .Not wii u although its playable for that system thanks to the backwards compatibility.
This was the 3rd game of the smash brothers franchise. And the squeal to the excellent smash brothers melee for the Gcn .
Game intro first of all it starts out with a  odd ancient god like song. There in the intro it will show how many characters  you have unlocked they will appear on the screen . Characters you have not unlocked will not appear in the  intro.   then it will show many clips Of the subspace adventures . As well of game play footage and other stuff.
Plot 1 there are two different plots of this game one plot in The 1 player character run through.and a much different plot in the subspace essmary I will get to the subspace essmary in plot 2. Anyways  as usual  from the previous smash brothers melee you have to fight one character through another or a tag team match. All the way up to master hand. And if You do certain requirements you can fight crazy hand.
Crazy hand and Master hand are both villain's from Kirby and both appear in this game. Not only as bosses but unlock able trophies.
Plot 2 Subspace essmary  Everything was completely different and new. You First start off  with a lot of Cut scenes. And battle a lot of characters. The Subspace essmary is more like a smash brothers beat em up  adventure. That you go through. You work your way up through various robots and characters. There are capture trophies in the Subspace essmary that allow you to capture enemies and bosses.
You will lose a trophy if you use a continue or get a game over but that's only in Subspace essmary mode not in the actual game. All bosses of the games are based on Some of the Gcn games .For example Petty Phriana was originally a boss in Super Mario Sunshine. Petty phriana had also appear in this game and as a unlock able character in Mario Kart Double dash. there will also Be Character cross overs in this game. For example When you Go to samus Mission on the subspace essmary. You will see that the robs have captured pikachu and they are using his electricity For A ultimate power source. Your main objective is to play as different characters depending on your missions. And Defeat Tabu I'm not sure what game he originally appeared from.
now that I have explained the 2 different plots lets  start this review.
Before I start with the graphics if you wanna see the graphical changes between brawl and melee there should be a video clip showing how they transformed the characters.
Graphics like Mario kart wii and Mario galaxy this was a another game that used most of the wiis potineal. These graphics are very nicely Sharp and detailed. Most of them have similar redesigns to their gcn games. For example The Melee Version of the 2  link characters was based off of ocarina of time same with Zelda and gannondorf.  in Smash Brothers Brawl the Zelda characters are based off of Twilight Princess expect toon link hes based off of Zelda the windwaker. Like before in the smash brothers games You can change multiple characters outfits. My only complain with these sprites is when your far away it makes the Characters hard to see. Anyways Graphics gets a 9
         game play

Believe it or not Brawl did bring new game play and features such as the Smash Ball that allows you to do Your characters Final Smash all final smashes are different depending on who you play as.  Another new part Is Smash Brothers brawl Allowed you to use  4 Different controllers for the game. 1 the wiimote by its self which is very good to use for this game I'm actually surprised that Nintendo Turned there 8 button con fig down to a nes like 2 button configuration.  2 The Wiimote and nunchuk Also pretty good to use I played brawl multiple times with this control however I did remap the dpad to use  Heavy smashes Because the default con fig of the Dpad was just useless. Classic Controller . There is 4r classic controllers that will work 1 the original classic controller 2 Classic controller pro. 3 the 3rd party Nyko wing. 4 nyko wing wireless  I Used All of them I generally found the nyko wing wired to be more comfortable for this game . Despite having smaller handle's than The Classic controller pro. The Built quality of the nyko wing felt more solid. And when you mainly use your thumb sticks for this game. The nyko wing had much stiffer and gripper thumb sticks. As like the classic controller and pro. Officially made by Nintendo the thumb sticks happened to fell very cheaply made. Anyways the classic controller con fig is in my opinion tied with the game cube controller for second place. The Thumbs tick mapping feels just right for this game. And the 6 button con fig came very handy in time to time. Game cube controller. One of the Best con figs the Configuration of the Game cube controller can be changed . However sense using it with me lee I don't really think it should need a change in the configuration settings. In my opinion the Wii mote by its self is the best option to use with this game. Second best classic controller and Game cube controller. Rd Best wii mote and nunchuk.
now I'm on to Sound after explaining the new bunch of stuff Nintendo added to the game.
Like the graphics of Smash Brothers brawl. The sound effects are some what based off of The game cube games. I really rather prefer the much wackier grunts of melee but that's just my opinion . Soundtrack. They made it definitely more dark like some soundtracks work others are too calm. And others just does not fit right with the game. Luckily Nintendo thought ahead . So In the options menu. You can change the music track order in to what ever you desire . Which is a good thing for the reasons explained earlier. Sound gets a 9  while I like the sound effects a lot. I think some of the songs are really too calm for this type of game.
Addictiveness I really still enjoy pounding the heck out of Nintendo characters another neat feature . That I like in smash bros brawl. Is you have a special brawl which can let you do a lot of certain changes in the matches. I really enjoy it for the heck of pounding Nintendo characters. Not the soundtrack this time . I personally had to customize it . To which songs I thought sounded the best. Addictiveness gets a 7 it will eventually get a little old.
Story there was 2 stories explained in plot while 1 is the same of melee. The second plot is just really caught on to me. It definitely made this game more epic than it intended to be. Story gets a 10 because of plot 2.
Depth There is a lot of trophies characters modes  and a whole bunch of other stuff that I wont even attempt to name. . One thing that I didn't like was the huge lack of stages when you compare it to smash brothers melee . Melee definitely has a lot more stages. Depth gets a 9 there is a whole lot of stuff but really I hate the fact that there are only 40 stages . Where melee had about 90 something stages
Difficulty 6 The Computer difficulty was totally cranked up. As even the level 9 setting where it was not that hard. Is very challenging. The game play is also a lot faster. I think it was a little too fast for me. So when ever I played this game I would do it on slow setting . In special brawl. The main reason I think Nintendo did this was the inclusion of Sonic the hedgehog in the game.
Anyways brawl maybe the latest  smash bros for right now . Until the newer wii u one takes that spot. Its definitely a good game and a worth a try. Final ratings 9.3 good for the modes characters and custom settings . Bad for the Lack of stages when you compare it to melee. Its a good game
edit the reason i didnt pick the wireless nyko wing is because you need triple a batteries and you need the wii mote turned on just to get the adapter working. in my opionin that s just stupid

They say there's no perfect game... Actually, probably no one has ever said that. But still, I bet lots of people thought that. Well, those people thought wrong. There is such thing as a perfect game. You're staring at the review of it right now. Because that's right folks, this is Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Nintendo's only best game of all time. All dem Sony fanboys are like, "sony is best but Super Smash Bros. Brawl is my bff," and the XBOX fanboys are like, "hurr durr thats the best game ever but its totally a ripoff of kinect sports." I would buy a Wii just to play this game. It's just that good. Better than Mario Kart Wii. Better than Skyrim. Better than... Dare I say this? Super Smash Bros. Brawl is better than provolone cheese. Mixed with ham and bread. It's just that good (I know I already said that, shush).
OK, so I've basically just ruined the whole review by saying what I think of the game. Not really, actually. Prepare to be blown away by this totally biased awesome review. You may think it's biased, but it's... yeah, it probably is. But it's still awesome.
Graphics - 10
Everything, EVERYTHING with graphics in this game is custom and brand new and stuff. Nope, no ports directly from Melee... I don't really know if that's possible anyways, so ignore that. The graphics of this game are maximum. Highly realistic, no graphical bugs as far as I know, and totally awesome special effects. It's barely even Nintendo since the graphics are so good. I give the graphics a 10, HAH.
Sound - 11
This is the best part. Yup, even better than the gameplay. This game has seven-and-a-half hours of music. That's gotta be a world record, seriously. But it gets even better: Every song (except the ones that are supposed to be ported from Melee) is a remake of older songs. So that means that every single, every single song from the Kirby franchise that's in this game is a brand new orchestra remix. I'm not even kidding, {exaggeration zone} they remade practically half of the songs in every character's franchise {end exaggeration zone}. I'll say this again, they remade a few hundred music tracks from the world of Nintendo.
Here is the full soundtrack. 7 and a half hours of pure awesome. Somehow they've actually made remixes sound better than the original songs. This game in total is 8 gigabytes (which is huge, possibly even the largest on a Nintendo console), and I bet like half of that are the music tracks.
Every dang track sounds great (except a few of the F-Zero and most of the Fire Emblem tracks), so I give the sound another 10. Yes, the sound deserved it. That's probably the most unbiased rating in this review, and certainly the strongest, most solid 10 here. And yeah, the graphics deserved it also.
Performance and Online Play - 10 and 5
Hmm. This game performs extremely well considering how large it is, and I never experience lag, but... The online play is horrid. If you try to play with someone too far away, it lags pretty bad. Heck, if you're in the USA and you're playing against someone in the UK, it probably will disconnect you or something dumb like that. But at least it's not overload cruddy. Performance gets a 10, online play gets a 5 (sad).
Gameplay/Addictiveness - 10
So now that we got past the most amazing part of the game, we're at the gameplay. You probably know what it is, but this is a review so I have to explain it anyways. The Super Smash Bros. series has fighting games, but not your ordinary fighting games. The characters you play as? Nintendo's most iconic characters (except a few were left out, and some of them no one has ever heard of) are the characters you play as. Each character has their own movesets (animations and attacks), so even Mario/Luigi and Lucas/Ness are almost completely different.
The way you KO/Kill foes is also quite unique. There is no health bar unless you're on Stamina Mode, which no one ever uses. Instead, you have a percentage meter. Every time someone attacks you, the percentage goes up depending on what attack they used. The max percentage is 999%. The higher the number, the easier it is to KO. So how do you KO? You knock the character off the edge of the screen. It's pretty much Mario's endless pits, but in every side. So you really want to try to stay on the stage.
Some characters are very strong but slow, like Bowser and Ganondorf. Some characters are fairly strong but very fast. Some characters are practically pointless (loljigglypuff), while some are pretty much overpowered (usually the faster characters mostly due to their incredible abilities with combos). So which character do I like? Lucas. He's not normally slow but he's very strong.
Every character has many different types of attacks. There are around 4 attacks for every type: Neutral, holding the analog stick up, holding it down, and holding it to the side. The types of attacks? There's smash attacks which are used for pretty much everything, especially KOing foes since you can charge your attacks. There's also special attacks, which are stronger and usually deal more damage, but they're very different than smash attacks and they're usually slower. The main special attack is the up-special, which is your recovery move. If you get knocked off the stage but you haven't been KOd, you can use your recovery move to (hopefully) get back onto the stage and save your life. The next attack type I'm going to talk about: Aerials. These are just smash attacks in the air that you can't charge. They're great for combos. There's also dash attacks, which (in my opinion) are pretty pointless. If you dash (by pressing the walk button twice) and press the button you normally use for smash attacks, you'll use a dash attack. These usually launch you forward a little. Nothing special. The last type of attack that I am aware of is the tilt attack. Pretty much only professional smashers use this, and lots of people don't know about it. To be honest, I have no idea what the use of them is. You slightly tilt the control stick in a direction and press the attack button. This is a tilt attack.
There are also multiple single-player modes (most of them aren't really single-player, but they're listed under 'Solo'). There's classic, which was the single player mode in the original Smash Bros. You fight a random selection of enemies across a couple levels. Sometimes you'll be fighting a giant character, sometimes a metal character. There is a target-test minigame about halfway through. The final level always has the boss known as Master Hand. Master Hand actually has a health bar. He is, yeah, a hand that has tons of different moves to defeat you with. If you play the game on at least Hard difficulty (it could be normal, I don't remember) and complete classic mode fast enough, the left hand known as Crazy Hand will appear. Crazy Hand is a little stronger, but he's way different.
Then there are event matches. There are 41 singleplayer and, like, 15 multiplayer events. These are unique-ish battles with special effects. For example, there's an event match that requires you to defeat 7 Yoshis in the order the rainbow goes... You know, first defeat red yoshi then orange yoshi then yellow yoshi, etc.
There's stadium matches, too. You can play different target test levels in Target-Test, attack enemies known as Alloys in Multi-Man Brawl, hit a sandbag with a baseball bat after dealing damage to it in Home-Run Contest, and defeat various bosses in Boss Battles!
The next mode I'm going to talk about is All-Star mode. You choose a character and a difficulty, then fight every single playable character in the game. Seems pretty hard, right? You can refill your percentage gauge a total of three times during the whole thing. What happens if you get KOd just once? You lose the entire thing no matter what. No continues.
The main attraction is the new Adventure-type mode, the Subspace Emissary. This is a huge story mode where you unlock most of the new characters and encounter all the bosses. There are many levels and one great big level that everyone hates. This mode is totally awesome with friends and family, since you won't be fighting each other and yelling "CHEATER, THATS 2 CHEAP" a whole bunch of times. For the record, the final boss is super-ultra-mega difficult.
How could I forget about the items? There are many, many items that can help you during gameplay (and one that harms you). There's the bob-omb, recovery items like Maximum Tomatoes from Kirby, Smart Bombs from Star Fox, Laser Swords that originated in the Smash Bros. series that also look like lightsabers, and a whole bunch of other stuff. The main new items in this installment are the Smash Balls and Dragoon Pieces. The Smash Ball is a rare item that has health. Once destroyed, the character who destroys it gets to use their final smash. Every character has their own final smash, with the exception of Fox, Falco, and Wolf having the same freaking final smash and Lucas and Ness as well. These are super attacks. For example, Mario shoots a huge coil of fire, Bowser turns into Giga Bowser, Ness and Lucas cause "stars" to fall out of the sky and attack players, etc. So what about the Dragoon Pieces? If you get all three of them, you jump onto the Dragoon and get a chance to shoot players. Any player that's hit will be KOd. Note that you only get one shot and you have to aim.
Glad we got past that... ahem. So yeah, this game is extremely fun. Don't like fighting games? Well, you still might love Super Smash Bros. Brawl because it's so different. I seriously just can't stop playing this game. I keep coming back for more. I play it every day... "Oh, I'm done with SSBB for the day. No more playing it today... Maybe I'll come back in 2 hours." I give the gameplay/addictiveness another 10! Totally biased, right? Wrong. If SSBB is your playing style, you'll realize that it deserves all these 10s.
Story - 10
The story in the Subspace Emissary is totally awesome. It starts out with Mario and Kirby fighting at a stadium. No matter who wins, you'll see a clip of a giant Piranha Plant with the princesses Zelda and Peach inside of cages. Mario and Kirby have to team up to save the princesses. You then fight your first boss battle and defeat the giant Piranha Plant. Then you see Wario or Bowser or some other villain (I don't recall whom) comes in with a giant gun and shoots at the characters. The character that get hit are really unlucky... They turn into trophies! Then the Ancient Minister flies in and drops a subspace bomb, which creates a huge dome-shaped explosion that expands and destroys everything in its path. The next level you'll play as Pit, the next you'll play as Donkey Kong, blah blah blah. Eventually, everyone will meet and you'll have to destroy multiple bosses and then the mastermind of chaos at the end of the game.
Sounds pretty cool, eh? Yeah, whatever. Gets a 10 of course.
Depth - 11
As you've probably already noticed when I was talking about the sound and gameplay, this game is massive. 8 gigabytes (even nowadays the highest are probably around 6, like Skyrim). There are a huge amount of unlockable characters. In total, including characters that are already playable when you first begin, there are 35 characters including the extra 2 playable by Pokemon Trainer (he has 3 Pokemon you can play as), Zelda's transformation into Sheik, and Samus' transformation into the ever-so-hot Zero Suit Samus, which is Samus without her awesome suit on. She's not near as strong as Samus but she's super hot.
Then, of course, there's the huge amount of gameplay modes, the huge amount of items, the huge amount of extra costumes each player has (I never told you about that, did I... Each character has multiple costumes), and of course the MASSIVE amount of music tracks.
Difficulty - 8
To me, this game is a bit easy (I always take on the maximum level computers), but that's from growing up with the series and mastering most of the characters. To someone who has never played this game before, it can be quite difficult to learn. As my mother always says, "All I see is characters moving across the screen way too fast to concentrate on." Yes, this game is very fast-paced, but once you get the hang of it things start to seem real fun and easier. Try to find a good character. For those who don't have much experience with any video games, it's best for them to learn how to use a slower character that still attacks fairly fast. If a newcomer to gaming used Sonic the very first time, they'd start thinking that every character is way too fast to control. So it really depends on how much experience with games you have, but it's still a bit tough to learn because the game is so fast-paced. Which is why I give the difficulty an 8 (the only non-10 other than online gameplay).
Overall - 9.8
This is the highest score I have ever given a game, and probably the most true to me. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is massive. It has amazing graphics and a huge amount of amazing soundtracks. It's incredibly addictive and has a great storyline, and the game practically never runs out of new content! The only problem? It's a bit difficult to pick up, and for the more skilled players (like me, but I'm not being arrogant) it's way too easy unless you play against a human being. Overall, Super Smash Bros. Brawl gets an absolutely incredible 9.8!
Thanks for reading (if you actually did, heh). Feel free to criticize, but don't even think about calling this review biased BECAUSE THIS GAME IS DAMN GOOD.
Extra notes:
Modding - I'm not really a big fan of modding, but there's two good mods: CTGP Revolution which has a massive amount of custom tracks for Mario Kart Wii, and Project M which is the main SSBB mod.
What is Project M? Project M is a patch to SSBB that makes it more like SSBM (Melee). It brings back Roy and Mewtwo, and it also changes every single character to make them more like their Melee selves and also to make things more balanced. It also gives a few characters alternate costumes, such as Mario having a Dr. Mario costume and Bowser having a Dry Bowser costume. The catch? They ruined all of the stages to preserve framerate.
Now if you're thinking of getting Project M or if you already have it, I suggest getting a custom build of it: NFreak's Custom Project M Build. This mod of a mod gives every character multiple alternate costumes, adds a "buttload of custom music," and adds a massive amount of great custom stages. SO GET IT, IT'S WORTH IT. PM me if you have no idea how to make the custom build work, cause it's a bit different than the regular Project M.
Tourneys - Super Smash Bros. Brawl has multiple tournaments every year. Heck, there's even a few SSBM tournaments still around. But you know what's cool? They actually have Project M tournaments, since the game is so different. Heck, Project M is listed as a separate game on IGN. Nope, it's not under Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It's an actual full game on IGN.
SSB4 - The next in the series looks pretty promising. It's going to be for Wii U and 3DS, but the 3DS version looks pretty crappy to me (sorry, but it does). So far, the known new characters are: Wii Fit Trainer, Megaman, Villager (Animal Crossing), Rosalina & Luma, and Little Mac (Punch-Out!!). The most likely of next newcomers (it's not just a rumor): Isaac from Golden Sun.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl
I am not sure there are many people in world that has not experienced any of the Super Smash Bros series. Right from the release of the very first for the N64 this series has rocked the video game industry. It is hard to believe this but Super Smash Brothers Brawl was the best selling fighting game, it even got more sales in total than Super Street Fighter II! So there must be something good about this game if it is selling this many copies, so that is why I am going to give my own personal opinions on this game, to see if I feel it is worthy of these world records.
Graphics 8/10
I am quite aware that this game was released in 2008 meaning it was in the early days of the Wii so I have to cut the game some slack but there are many other games on the console that are better so why couldn't Nintendo master their own console in 2008. I am really not saying that the graphics of Super Smash Brothers Brawl are bad because they were sometimes rather stunning. The peaks of the game were the cutscenes in the Subspace Emissary but let's be honest here, cutscenes are always the graphic highlights of the game. I guess at the time they were something to show off about but only a couple of years after with the stunning Mario Galaxy 2 removed meaning to be big headed about it. I guess it was a case of getting to grips with the console, learning its thresholds and capabilities. Then again Super Mario Galaxy 2 had amazing graphics as did The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword they are just two games in the consoles hundreds so you could say Super Smash Bros Brawl was not far off of them.
Sound 10/10
Super Smash Brothers Brawl offered a ton of great music tracks. Each course contains a reasonable number of unlockable songs, usually 7 or so, sometimes more. Most of the songs are pieces from the game backgrounds, say you would have the Super Mario Bros theme on a Mario related arena or the pokemon arena stage would have pokemon battle music. Yet there are some other sound tracks that you can unlock for certain stages. For instance you can get the Tetris theme on the Luigi's Mansion stage so it is nice that you can get other music from games that never made an appearance in this one.
All of the music in the game has been covered unless it originally came from that game itself. Most of the covers were orchestrated such as the Pokemon Route 301 theme, Song of Storms and  many more nintendo hits. Of course there is the Sonic the Hedgehog course, unfortunately the songs on that are not as good as the original ones. I really did not like the cover for Green Hill Zone or Chemical Plant, they were no where nears as great as the original ones. That was only something small so that did not take down a whole mark because I am telling you now this game does deserve it's 10/10, I just love old Nintendo music.
Gameplay 8/10
There is something about Super Smash Bros that is very enjoyable. It seems to be that game you would play if your friends are around, it is just built to be multiplayer. I am not sure many people bought this game to play alone, because if they did I am sure at some point they would of asked a friend to bring a second controller. Any of the games in the series are addictive, or at least for a long time they are. I can remember playing hours of Melee even though it was my friends gamecube and much more hours on Super Smash Bros Brawl. It was the on Wii that I played for a long time. There was nothing more fun.
You may of noticed that I said "at least for a long time" that being games like this do eventually get boring. Once you have unlock everything, once you can beat everyone online, the games gets boring there is nothing you can really do anymore. I managed to get to that stage, I was amazing at the game. My online record was 67 games played 61 won and that was impressive. I was beating youtubers, I joined their online sessions. I also remember playing with my favourite Flipnote creator Glen-i (though most of you won't know him because he was european), and yes I beat him. I know I sound all big headed about this but it all came down to many hours of game play, I just could not stop until now. Now the game is just boring, I hardly ever put in the Super Smash Brothers disc. The light gameplay just got boring, it is not the same as other fighting games like Super Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat which you can just not get enough of, this game does get boring after a year or so. The heavy feels of the true fighting games just make them realistic and to me realism is one of the main things that can make a game good. This is why I prefer Forza Motorsport to Need for Speed and I hate to say this but this is why I prefer Mortal Kombat to Super Smash brothers brawl.
There is so much in the game yet the easy difficulty of the game, even in the hardest settings it is easy, makes it all come to soon. That is why the game ruins its addictive vibe, because it ends to quickly. Even with so much depth put into the game. I guess that is what Nintendo need to work on next so that the Super Smash Bros game for the Wii U and 3DS will be even more successful.
Thank you for reading my review. If you enjoyed it please be sure to rate. If you think otherwise feel free to rate low or even better, tell me what I did badly.
Have a Nice Day!!

Super Smash Bros. Brawl review   Zircron Swift
Remember Super Smash Bros. Melee for the Gamecube? That was awesome. Having all your favorite Nintendo characters fighting to the death in various areas that stretched all over the Nintendo Universe was something to behold. The N64 one was were it started, and the gamecube one enhanced on it greatly. So when I heard that there was one going to be on the Wii, I was excited. Although it wouldn't have as many characters as the last one, this game would introduce more stages. This is more than a melee of fighters. This is Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Fighter line-up: We have the classics, ranging from Mario to bowser, link to Gannondorf, Fox to Wolf and Kirby to....kirby. The new entries feature Meta Knight, King Dedede, Toon Link, Wario and....Pit! Finally, Pit from Kid Icarus made into a full 3D character in a game with voice acting <3    On a side note, did you know that the voice done by Pit is the same person who did Luke Triton from the Professor Layton series? And did you know that that same person is a girl? Shook me too. But I digress. Other characters include Snake from the Solid Snake series, and Sonic from......Sonic the hedgehog. These two are more like special guests from Konami and Sega to appear in a Nintendo-characters only game, which is saying something about Sega seeing as they were rival companies once some 15 years ago. All these characters can be unlocked by two ways: through a lot of multiplayer matches or through the main story.
I normally play with the nun-chuck and Wii-mote together, but you can play with just the Wii-mote, or the gamecube controller, or even the classic controller if you so wish. The controls are a little different for each controller, so I'll try and generalizes it. There are three types of attacks, a normal attack, a special attack, and a smash attack. A normal attack is normally quick attack to build up damage. The more damage you have, the further you will be rocketed when you are hit. The special attack is an attack unique to the character you play as. These attacks can be applied to different directions to preform different stunts (normally up and a special attack is a way to stop you from falling off the screen), with can be applied to normal attacks as well. A smash attack is an attack that is charged up, and then released on the spot to throw your opponent off the screen. You can grab and throw things, such as items and opponents, and you can hold a shield to block an attack, but is limited for time. You can also taunt your opponent. Each character has three different taunts (apart from Snake, who only has the one). This system of fighting is interesting, and is far different to Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, where you need to press a series of buttons to activate a special move. In this game, you press a button, the move activates. I suppose you need this to happen, as the fights can get really intense, and the stages are huge compared to Street Fighter. Perfect timing in this game is critical.
The stages range from all over the Nintendo Universe, with a stage from Solid Snake and Sonic the Hedgehog. Most of these are new, and some of them are from the melee game. You can even create your own stage. During a brawl, you might come across a sticker or CD. If you see a CD, then grab it straight away, as they are fairly rare. Stickers are much more common, but still get them while you can. With each CD you collect, you will unlock a new piece of music to listen to. This can be used to expand on the music you want to listen to during a fight, but only if that stage is connected with that music. This can be edited is the "My music" section in the options. The stickers are a different story. You can place them on the base of your character during the main story to enhance your characters abilities. This is various, and can range from healing more when eating to being more resistant to fire attacks to having a longer shield.
The main story itself is about saving the universe, in a nutshell. It starts off with Mario and Kirby fighting each other (you get to choose who you play as for this fight) for some tournament. After the fight, they shake hands untill the sky darkens with a purple smoke and these things known as Primids (just imagine sand-bags with stick shaped arms and menacing purple eyes, there are a lot of them in this game mode) appear in huge numbers. Princess Peach and Zelda get caged up by a Paraina Plant, and this is your first boss. Afterwards, you see a cloaked figure flies around and places a large round steel ball with a red cross on. And then.....awwwww, there are little R.O.B's that set up the bomb for it to destroy the place.....ah....and they did set the bomb off.....that's pretty dark. As you go on, you meet companions such as Pit and Yoshi and all the rest, and meet plot twists that are epic and boss battles that give the purest sense of nostalgia. The way the cut-scenes are done are a little cliche in terms of mood and how not one player speaks a word of English during them, but they give the sense of adventure, and the seriousness of the plot only heightens the aspect of running out of time, and the feeling the baddies might win. This creates a good story, and is one of the best cross over stories I have heard in a video game, even if no-one talks.
The attention to detail on the backgrounds are wonderful, almost like a work of art by a great artist. The only problem is that due to the intense battles you can have, you have very little (if not any) time to look at these backgrounds and admire them. You could have to plugin a second controller and play a brawl on your own to appreciate these graphics. The final Destination backgrounds are quite odd. You see a lovely stray sky, followed by a sunset....followed by going upside down? I didn't notice it for a while, and even then, I had to take some pictures during the fight to admire the sea and the lighting effects.
The music has several different types in, ranging from every game Nintendo created that includes that character in the game. Several of the best pieces of music Nintendo created are here, like the Star Fox theme, the Temple theme off Zelda II, and the Pokemon theme (which makes a pretty good piece of music when playing a beat 'em up). Apart from that, they also including the music in Solid Snake and Sonic the Hedgehog. What I love about this is that most of my favorites are here, Open your Heart (the original), Live and Learn, What I'm Made of, it's all here, as well as that catchy Green Hill Zone (not as fitting to a fight, but who can argue the awesomeness of it?). Apart from music that was already created, it has some original music in, like the theme. Just like One Winged Angel, the lyrics are in Latin.
This has to be one of the greatest multi-player games I have ever played....well, at least on the Wii. It includes everything, intense battles, ways of being dastardly to your opponent, various items that could help or hinder you, or could just be used as a laugh, different game modes for different settings.....Anyone who has played this game will know that two good players can battle and both have a laugh but at the same time be very serious. The items you can use are very various, even including ones that are outside the Nintendo Universe, yet is still a part of it. The Super Scope for the SNES is used in this game, for example. Other favorites of mine are Mr Saturn (pwwahhhhhh!), Assist trophy, Pokeballs and the Smash Ball. Everything else I use to my advantage as I go by (basically, an item hog =P). I often use the Pokeballs to make some pictures. I got some pretty good pictures this way, such as Kyogre trying to give Groudon a bath =D
Overall, I give this game a 9.3/10       The sheer joy of multi-player makes it a great game to play even to this day. Sure, once you unlock everything and such, it gets a little boring....on your own that is. You can have endless amounts of fun with your friends by playing this game, and even includes an online mode, where you can fight other players (in real time, might I add, not just a CPU calculating their skills by how many KO's they got or something like that). If you are as a big a Nintendo fan as I, then this game will overwhelm you with nostalgia.

Super Smash Bros Brawl Reveiw   RMJEtheReploid
Dun. duun bala pom papa! THIS IS IT FOLKS! Me and my mom are reviewing Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Wii! So lets get ready! READY, SET, SMASH REVEIW!
Graphics: 10. Even though my mom says the graphics are good, i say that the graphics are MUCH better then Super Smash Melee. Plus I love how a lot of the Classic stages are better then better then before. Not to even mention the charters. In Super Smash bros for the Nintendo 64, all of the charters had pointy edges, then in melee, The some of the pointy edges were removed and new charters were introduced. And now brawl, all of the charters look AWESOME. So we are giving this a 10.
Sound: 10. Mom says that on brawl you can say that amassing and you can earn in the stages and some of the songs are from other games, even though some of the songs don't sound good, its because it some songs came from older consoles. I agree with her, and plus some songs are Remixed like 02/Zero 2 (note: DON'T GET CONFUSED BY THE AWESOME MEGA MAN X CHARATER!) theme, in Kirby 64 Crystal Shards, the original tone of the song was Dark and people might say 2Spooky4Me, while the brawl remix sounds like 02 is some weird screaming monster or something. We are going to give it a 10.
Addictiveness: 10. Mom and i are addicted to the game. Whenever mom and i are debating on school, or just wanna play for fun, we'll brawl against each other and see who'll win. Sometimes its me, and sometimes its mom. It depends on the stage. If we do one of My custom stages,, she'll say No. And since me and my mom always play as the Winged Charters we sometimes say what they say.
Story: 8. (heres my lone ranger time) The story mode of the game is very interesting and has a lot of plot twists! Heres the basic story is (with help). Tabuu is turning a lot of good guys into trophies and a lot of the charters are trying to stop him and save the tropicated Warriors. That's just the basic story but i was gonna explain what happens in the begging of the game. Oh well. :p
Depth 9: now if you are gonna Plow down the story mode, i am going to warn you, its not like Classic mode, it took me a few months to finish Story mode. So just to let you know, STORY MODE IS TOUGH!
Difficulty: 8. It depends on the Level you play the game on, Plus the controls are different. I use the Nunchuck Controller while mom play with just the wii remote. But it depends on your style.
Overall: 9.2. This game is very fun, addicting and not to even mention Silly. Plus i wanted to give it a 10 *randomly get hit on the back with a hammer, flung into the sky and into a lake* [mom] you can't give it a ten with out a perfect score [me] party crasher. Anyways, not only this game is fun, it has a Street Fighter-like style along with a Platformer story mode to go with this Nintendo Street fighter game!

Super Smash Bros. Brawl : Game Review by supercool22
Release Date - 2008
System - Nintendo Wii
Developer - Sora
Publisher - Nintendo
Genre - Action / Fighting / Adventure
What I know About This Game ?
Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released around the year 2008 a few years after the Wii was released . Basically you all know that this game was made for the Nintendo Wii . The Developer of Super Smash Bros. Brawl is Sora ( I have know what company is that ) and the publisher is Nintendo . Also Its a Action / Fighting and Adventure game , three things that make a great game . It has everthing that a great game has , mini games , Battles with other characters and a great story . Well that is all I know , lets get to the ratings .
Ratings
---------------
Overall 10 / 10
Graphics 9 / 10
Sound 9 / 10
Addictiveness 9 / 10
Story 8 / 10
Depth 9 / 10
Difficulty 7 / 10
-------------------
Overall
---------
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is one the best Fighting game ever made . It better than the first Super Smash Bros. and Melee . This game has the best characters ever , a lot of them are the same but There are a few extra ones that are very good . Like Lucario , Pokemon Trainer and King DeDeDe ( if I spelled his name right ) . And there are few more characters I haven't mentioned but you know they are already . Anyway This game has a few more features that are great but unfortunately I can't remember what they are . So Overall This game is awesome in many ways .
Graphics
-----------
Super Smash Bros. Brawl has the greatest graphics . The graphics are better in this game than any other game made ( from my point of view anyway ) but there could other games with better graphics but I choose this one . But To me the graphics in this game is just like Super Smash Bros. Melee if you take a good look . Now lets get to the real part . The level in this game look better than the old SSB . It looks more realistic like you could actually go into the game . Many feathers in this game ( referring to the graphics ) are great , like the old SSB these feather are better in many ways . So thats why I rated the graphics a 9 / 10 and I know everyone would agree with this .
Sound
----------
The music in Super Smash Bros. Brawl are awesome . A lot of the music in this game is original . Some of the music was previously heard in Super Smash Bros. Melee or just Super Smash Bros. . If you know , the sounds are also great . Maybe the sound aren't original ( because You know that mainly every game series might have the same sounds from the first time they were made ) but They are still great and sound more better ( obviously ) . So I don't have much to say about tne sounds and / or music but there are great and that is why I rated it a 9 / 10 .
Addictiveness
-----------
I could play this game over and over again . 24 hours a day , 7 days a week . Super Smash Bros. Brawl is very addictive in many ways . Its hard to stop playing , you might even go on a SSB ( super smash bros. ) addiction . Mostly I could play this game for only a few hours straight because I do get bored of playing the same continuous game every day , even after beating the whole thing . But its still great even after finishing the game . You still have ton of people or characters to fight against and you still could have fun after finishing the game . Unlike most games which might get boring after a while . So overall this game is very addictive and that is why I rated this category a 9 / 10 .
Story
----------
This game has a good story . Especially a very long storyline that is hard to finish at times . So I don't know actually know what the story is but I could try . Basically what I learned from playing the game is that you have to be many different characters during the story ( you have switch from one person to another ) . You have to save the world from a terribly evil force . I don't know who it is or what it is but you have keep trying to beat the game . So thats All I have a say about the story . Sorry if it not a long story .
Depth
----------
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a very big game . Its has a lot action and adventure . So lets see what the game offers . This game those offer a lot , from Battling Your opponent , and Competing in great events . To playing really fun minkgames and Finally beating the game . Also don't forget to get all of the characters so you could have more fun fighting each other to the death . So I don't have much to say about the Depth but the depth is great and that is why I rated this category a 9 / 10 .
Difficulty
----------
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is hard especially for me because I don't really know much about the game . Maybe the basic's of this game but Sometimes its not that hard . And I don't mean its hard because you put it on a hard difficulty its hard because its suppose to like that . If a game had no difficulty it would be boring especially a game has fun like this .
Well that all I have to say . Have a great day . :D

SuperCrash64 03-22-13 - 02:38 PM
And this is only in the video game room beta. This is only for finding out info or seeing reviews of the game. it would be illegal to own current copys of games on a site that you can play them

ibby716, the Video Game Room is used for information on all games, including newer games. And if you don't appreciate that, well, it's no different than bashing GameFAQS.

earthwarrior 10-19-12 - 02:15 PM
Many stores still sell this. Also we are renting a digital copy so it would be hard to make a digital version and each game costs $35-$60. Next if he would put every came on vizzed Nintendo and other companies would go out of business and wont make any mor
earthwarrior 10-19-12 - 02:10 PM
This game is out mackymak583 and Vizzed only lets you play retro games. If the owner could add games for the wii, xbox, ps3, or other systems he would , but he cant for a few reasons. First vizzed offers games that are no longer in retail.
MackyMak583 09-20-12 - 05:15 AM
