I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. The newer version of RGR plug in is installed and I restarted my computer and it still tells me " you need the latest version to play games" unless PSX inst compatible with the plug in. I need help from anyone I don't know what do to.

I'm having the same problem when I try to play a game it says I need the newest plugin when I already have the latest plugin installed. I'm assuming everybody else has this problem I'm hoping I'm not the only one who has this problem.

Step 1:

Start up your game download, and let it run until you get to the home screen.

Step 2:

Make sure your controler is plugged in, and double click the screen

Step 3:

Where it says input or socket, click that to open another screen

Step 4:

There should be many boxes, click on each of the boxes (may be blank or have numbers or abbreviations) to open another window

Step 5:

Hit CLEAR in the new window and press the button on your controller that you'd like the button to command

Step 6:

Do this with every button on the screen until your controler is correctly configured

The 2.12 version is still pretty glitchy, so I'd recommend that you uninstall the 2.12 and install the 2.11. Once yu have 2.11, try running the games on that. If it works, then try installing 2.12 without uninstalling 2.11. If you still can't run 2.12, 2.11 is the same except for screenshot capabilities for Dreamcast and some MAME and MESS updates, so you'll still be able to play the games.

What computer system are you running (windows 7 or what) as if you are trying to use version 2.12, it may not fully download. (Don't know why). And I would strongly recommend trying this out on Firefox, because Firefox is able to run better downloads than Chrome. And uninstall the plug in and hen re download. If it doesn't work, then try to use 2.11 and upgrade to 2.12

Everything checked out. Apparently I had the same problem as everyone else did but now that problem has been fixed. I am not sure exactly what the problem was but I saw David chatting in the Netplay lobby about it and he said that he fixed it somehow. All is good

so i saw the netplay for arcade games, i got the beta test ticket i clicked on netplay teenage mutant ninja turtles for arcade and it says i need to download the new version plugin, which plugin do i download to get this feature.

Sadly I cannot download any of the plug-ins Plug-in 2.12 and 2.11 are both telling me that there was an error that occurred during the installation. It says to refer to the Help and Support but I looked and couldn't find anything.

This is what it's showing when it says there's an error;
'policy.9.0Microsoft.VC90.CRT,version="9.0.30729.6161",publicKeyToken="1fc8b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="x86",type="win32-policy'".

Anything I can do to make this work? I used to have it on this laptop a while back but we've had to completely restore it. I'm using Google Chrome as Mozilla Firefox won't even allow me to truly log in, as in, it makes you seem like you're logging in, and it leads you to the boards, but then if you try to do anything it tells you that you need to log in.

The plugin is installed, but it says that I still don't have it. Can someone here help me with this please

DisBULLits4U : Did you manually install it after downloading?

Did you give it permission to run? This is sometimes as simple as clicking on an option that pops us when you try to start a game, and other times requires you accessing your browser settings.

A LOT of these folks could use this good useful fact. when the game loads and it says the RGR still isn't installed, at the top of the window if you have either norton, avast or any common antivirus I believe, or it may have nothing to do with the antivirus, I ain't sure, but it says something you need to click "allow" and make sure it is a permanent thing. I ain't sure on what EXACTLY it says but if someone could show a pic of what that fix for many ppl I am sure...yeah. It'd be a blessing of many peoples problems I am sure.

asdren : You are running an old version of the plugin. You need to download and install the most recent version of the plugin and it should work fine.

asdren : So are you getting an error message, or is the download just stuck?

Usually what you are describing is for people that haven't updated the plugin. So installing the update, then restarting your PC is usually the recommended approach. If for whatever reason it's still not working, then the problem is probably something on your end that would require further information to try to get to the bottom of what the problem might be.
