Firstly let me explain, The mods get a lot of stick for not doing their job and well I wanted to do something about it. So I wrote down the local mods stats on the 1st of November and then wrote down their stats on the 1st of December to see what they have done essentially. Now don't misunderstand this is merely to point out that despite people moaning about the mods all the time, there are some that do there job amazing but never get any credit for it... So I'll be giving out Viz to the mods that excel in each area...

1) Eirinn sadly was away from the site for a while for some reason, I don't know why because obviously I can't access the local mod forum but please keep that in mind when you look at his stats.... Also if any other mod had a momentary absence from the site it'd be nice to know... 

2) This was made to be good hearted and point out the good work the mods do, not the opposite

3) None of the mods that I'm aware of, knew this was happening

Eirinn was moving. That's why he wasn't online for awhile. He would watch djinn's streams because he likes booms, and the chat was quiet without him one, so I asked where he was. Djinn said he was moving.

I honestly didn't think I was going to hit any of my quotas last month with my 3 week virus, that was literally my worst overall month ever, but I am glad I was able to pull through.

Do you plan on doing this more? Doesn't have to be with viz, but the stats themselves are really appreciated, maybe show CP for mod actions from the CP page? I'm sure that there are others who would also appreciate that if its not too much work.

Normally, I would stay away from both this forum (and Innocent Town) for a personal reason. But this mostly talk about the mods on here I'll reply to this.

Personally, this is a pretty good thread, because this thread can be a wake up call for the mods. As for me, I do my best as a mod on the site, and not just that, but I also got the Minecraft server to run, plus being a chat mod, and not just that, I'm also an artist, and a bunch of other things irl as well (like work and all).

So, with this thread, it can give the current and future mods a bigger push.

I'm glad someone brought this up, I'm kinda baffled as to how I'm still a moderator myself for multiple reasons.

A: I was away from site for somewhere near two months without saying a word about where I went.

B: I have never once met my quota in the year+ I've been a local.

C: There have been many times where I feel I haven't personally met the standards I should be as a moderator, this simply has me baffled.

This only goes to show that the moderators are in a bit of disarray, if not a bit more than a bit. That all being said the last couple of days I've actually become active again so there's that, not sure it really amends anything though. The part that really gets to me though is that I'm not even the lowest moderator on this list, that's a scary thought.

Muffin, where are these scores from? Last month? This month? You never did clarify or I'm being a derp and missed it. I mean I see the Dec 1 and all, but not sure where these scores themselves come from.

Although I feel like it's worth mention that despite my inactivity I was aware Eirinn was away and that I wasn't the only moderator failing to meet standards.

Frodlex : Its from subtracting what we had when we started November 1st from what we had at the start of today.

zanderlex : Ah, thank you very much, I'm honestly surprised my stats were even that high in this case, I've been on maybe 2 hours total that month, it was awful.

Honestly I'll probably step down if I end up going inactive like that again, maybe someone who has more spare time will be able to take over and do a more thorough job.

Just want to point out that these stats do not prove that you are a good local at all. They just show which mods are the most active. You need stats like number of threads moved, number of threads closed, number of posts edited, etc. to get a more accurate representation. For all we know zanderlex (just using him as an example since he got the most "points" by your ratings) could have ignored every single time he was summoned to a thread, left threads in the wrong forums, etc.

Frodlex : If you were to, and it was allowed, I would so take all of your forums, since I have so many hours a day to spare after all my regular work.

My god, I didn't know I was less active than Frodlex!

This cannot go on.

tgags123 : Can I just ask how you expect me to get hold of that information, That would require me to stalk each moderator 24 hours a day. Plus it's not a thread that says who is better than who.. It's essentially just which mods have been active and which haven't. Which nearly everyone else on here has noticed... 

I'm not sure if you have noticed but it's not my job to monitor the locals, I don't have access to the mod forums so it'd be impossible...  Like I said at the start it's more about praising the locals who are active... rather than just complaining about the "good old days" and those who are inactive.

Frodlex : I'll be honest , I don't know how your still a moderator either... but thanks for your honesty... It really does show how little the consequences are for effectively not completing your job fully constantly...

vanelan : So that locals couldn't close the thread essentially. It sounds childish but I felt that if I posted it in a local governed forum it'd be closed instantly. 

Plus the no one should be in the mindset that mods don't do anything... If everyone complains about it, one has to consider that perhaps someone isn't pulling their weight etc.

P.S I find it disturbing that the locals find this information interesting, When I was a moderator this was pretty much the information we got every month as part of our quota check....

Well you did pretty much say that most people are already unfair to the mods lol, but understood.

I wouldn't think it would be closed...a bit sad that you feel like we would close it.

If the whole point of the thread was to show which mods are most active then it is pretty pointless. Not only do we have an "active users" page for that, people pretty much know who is active just by how much they see them online and posting. I could have told you that EM and zanderlex were the most active and Frodlex and Alex were the least active without this thread.

I also wanted to back up what that's said, you don't need access to the mod forum to see most of this stuff. Just go to the CP page and you can see stuff like Staff thread/post/inbox reply, thread action, post edit, words ignored, forum nav, etc.

I know I could have done that, and too be honest it might have taken a while and it wouldn't have bothered me, but I felt it would take what I intended to be a good hearted thread, into a hardcore analysis proving what moderators are doing wrong..

Basically I didn't want to step over the boundaries, it's not my job to tell the mods how well they are doing, especially to that degree.. And the fact that I posted this thread here should be a huge point on how confident I felt this thread would be handled. 

Also another point is that just because a moderator has moved 50 threads, doesn't mean they moved those threads correctly does it... Whilst a post is a post regardless...

I just don't understand what you expected really.. I never said any mods were better than others, Most people have clearly noticed it's more about activity that actual quality... plus one would have to argue that an inactive mod regardless of their quality is not doing there job...

But based on what you just said and what I have been saying all along, all you can tell from the information you have displayed is which mods are NOT doing their jobs.
