This was a very fun competition with the most participation of any of my RGR competitions! There were over 160 submissions from over 30 users and only 9 points separate 2nd from 11th place so that gives you an idea of how close this competition was.

I've invested many hours into this competition between setting it up, moderating it, tallying up the results, formatting and posting the results, etc... so be sure to Like my posts in this thread if you enjoyed participating in or following this competition

I'm glad that the tetris theme managed to place on the top 5. I didn't know that there was a NES mix of the Sugar Plum Fairy song. I instantly fell in love with it.

Mistress : I loved that I discovered new songs that I enjoyed in this competition and I'm glad to hear that others did as well. I'm pretty open minded when it comes to video game music and there were plenty of songs that I voted that I had never heard before, such as as your Virtual Fishing submission (it was a very pleasant song).

I'm glad that other people share similar tastes in video game music, looking at what other people have posted. I'm glad to have gotten first place. I would like it as a paypal transfer. I'll send you a PM with my paypal address in it. Congrats to all the others that got a place!

Congratualtions to the winners and all the people who took part to the contest. The submissions were really good for this mega competition, I've been impressed by most of these submission honestly. It was fun and challenging at the same time that I don't regret anything. I don't mind taking part to the next video game music contest if it's really interesting

I'm still amazed that the intro song to Final Fantasy VIII only got 1 vote, I'm pretty sure that's considered to be on the top 50 greatest game songs of all time. I really wanted to use the song of the final battle with Sephiroth (one winged angel) from FFVII but there was no way I'd be able to get that far in the game lol.

tgags123 : Yeah this is the 2nd music competition I've competed in and I still don't know what a good strategy is lol. Next time I think I'll music from more popular games because most of the songs that were highly rated were from popular games.

No, the one before that "best video" contest. I won with my recreation of Steamboat Willie. I got the reward for the last contest, same to my partner so don't worry about this one. But not for the other contest. I don't remember getting a PM from you with the reward and I sent one to you because of that.
