Vizzed.com turned 10 years old earlier this month as seen here:

10 years is a long time and it's safe to say that vizzed.com can be considered an old domain. A lot of users on this site were either in diapers or weren't even born yet when Vizzed.com was registered (which just blows my mind to think about).

Even though Vizzed Board just turned 8 years old a few months ago, there were previous versions of Vizzed Board before this. There were actually 3 Vizzed Boards, this being the 3rd. During the time I had the 2nd one, I wanted to purchase the domain name vizzed.com but I was only 17 and didn't have a credit card. A member at the time named 'Jake-A-Roonie' used his credit card and bought the domain name for me.

Vizzed.com index for many years was used for my portfolio or as a directory to my other pages. Vizzed Board was just a sub page and there was even a time when I didn't even have a link to Vizzed Board on my index page, you had to use google to get to it or have a direct link.

Here's a history of all the looks the vizzed.com index has gone through. Keep in mind that I didn't start to develop Web Design or Graphic Design skills until 2005-2006. All images are clickable for a bigger preview.



2002: This is actually before vizzed.com had a domain but I thought I'd post this for fun. This is when the url to my site was vizzed.rcthost.com



2003: I was big into game making at that time. Also at that time, most of the active users of vizzed board had their own vizzed.com email account which is why I had an email login on the front page.



2004: I don't remember why I had such a simple looking index but it lead into PHP-Nuke site that I put together as you can see here. I didn't design that, it was just a script I had been using and I didn't use it for very long. This is also the year that the current Vizzed Board launched.



2005: At this time my RPG Maker 95 site was probably as big as Vizzed (it was different than my current RPG Maker 95 site).



2006: This was after I had joined the Art Institute Online and developed some Flash skills so I put together an into completely in flash, it was actually pretty cool and functioned well. It was unfinished at this time. I don't think I had any links to vizzed board on this one and this was also around the time when Vizzed Board was dead.



2007: This is the close to finished look of my old vizzed.com intro (I don't think I ever truly finished it). I still have it available and it can be seen here here.



2008: I moved away from an all flash site and switched to a cross between using HTML and Flash together. Not sure why but I don't think I had any links to vizzed board again. Vizzed Board picked up a little this year but still wasn't too active.



2009: Pretty much the same except I added some buttons. During the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009, I was focused on adding a new feature which would revolutionize Vizzed Board which was the NES Game Room (which would be later renamed to the Retro Game Room once I added more systems). So I didn't really put any attention to my index page. Vizzed Board really started to take off.



2010: Still pretty much the same. I was still too busy with the Retro Game Room, I was investing 60+ hours a week into it and this was also around the time the RGR Plugin launched.



2011: Finally I make Vizzed Board the index of Vizzed.com and pushed my portfolio off to the side.



2012: I gave the index page it's own banner and changed it up a bit so that it wouldnt' be confused with Vizzed Board. This page is still the page used today and servers as a gateway to the different sections of Vizzed.com



2013: This is how it looks today. Hasn't changed much since last year except it's a little more condensed. I'm sure it'll look the same in the upcoming years but I'll eventually be added more sections to the site so the index will have more links to more pages.

I wasn't in diapers and I was born but I think I was 4 years old at that time and if I wasn't I don't know then.

I think he means when the site was created most of the members that signed up were not even potty trained happy birthday vizzed.

earthwarrior : I kinda forgot about it so it's too late to do anything big. I had been tracking it and than I suddenly forgot.

A lot of the original members were either real life friends of mine, referred to by other members, or friends that I gathered from other acmlm boards at the time.

Woot! Yay for diapers! either way, congrats! I will hopefully be on for the next 10 years!

All I can say is, I wish I was here for it all. This is an awesome site and I hope it makes it to 20 years.
