A GOOD Rockman 3 Hack? uiopop
Mega Man 3 (or Rock man 3 in Japan) is a great game with great story, game play, and controls. However, when it comes to Hacks, Rock man 3 has not been treated as well as its predecessor, Rock man 2. Normally, Rock man 3 Hacks change very little of the actual game, or change EVERYTHING. With Rock man 3 Alpha, however, just the right amount of game play is changed. The Robot Masters have different patterns and weaknesses, and all stages in the game have been re-designed, now despite these seemingly minor changes, the Mega Man series rarely have much to alter, making the lack of changes, in this case acceptable. Even so, there is much they still could have altered. Examples are that the weapons have not been changed whatsoever, and that, unlike most Mega Man Hacks, the music remains the same from the original Mega Man 3. (whereas in other hacks, the music is swapped with music from another game or series.) Another issue is the difficulty, now hacks normally are very difficult, but this one takes it to a whole new level. The three things that make it extremely difficult come as followed;
1) The normal busters power level has been half ed, making Enemies take twice as long to defeat.
2) Most Enemies deal more damage and can now kill you in the very first screen of a stage.
3) The new stage designs contains many more dangerous obstacles demanding masterful gaming ability to traverse.
All in all, however, Rock man 3 Alpha is an awesome hack that rewards you in many ways. However, unless, you are a master of Mega Man hacks, you will find little enjoyment in this extremely difficult hack, so if you are not that master, you should pass on this hack until you have the skill to get past the stages.
