A Good Game Boy Football Game. acam
"Hi, everyone, Welcome to John Madden Football!"
-John Madden
Madden'95 for the Game Boy is simply a very good portable football game, as I will elaborate on in this review. I rated the game's graphics a 9 because the graphics are very well worked, in my opinion. For example, John's face looks very realistic considering that this is a Game Boy game. The sound is a 10 because the music peices are 8-bit renditions of Madden '94's(Sega Genesis) well-scored music. The sound effects, however are platform standard. The game is about as addictive as Madden '94, which has rather high replay value. For a Game Boy sports game, Madden '95 has good depth. Its modes include your standard Exhibition, Season, and Playoffs modes, but they can be long and engrossing. This is why I rated that a 7. The difficulty is a 7 due to rather awkward button controls on a Game Boy. I end this review with another thing I liked about this game: that it is the first Madden game that uses John's voice on the menu screens.
