I pretty much exclusively listen through spotify, on my speaker setup in my room or in my car. I've been considering switching over to a digital music collection, partly due to having some qualms against streaming services and partly because I think it'd be neat to have a sort of virtual representation of my collection.
I have a decent collection of CDs, but I honestly rarely use them. Using my computer/phone is just so much more convenient. Despite this, I sometimes wish I could've grown up in the era of physical media. Having to go out and spend 10 bucks on a CD along with the ritual of putting it in a player and listening through the whole album just seems like it would've made each album that much more special. Sure, having essentially unlimited access to any music from any part of history all a few keystrokes away is a huge privilege that I'm very thankful for, but having that limitation that the dominance of physical media brought feels like it would've forced you to appreciate every album more actively rather than just passively hearing songs that you didn't have to put much thought into picking out.
But, pandora's box has already been opened now, and I'm too broke to justify abandoning spotify in favor of buying a CD of any album I wanna listen to (not to mention, many of the bands/artists I listen to are either old/obscure with rare and expensive CDs or are more modern and never released their music on CD to begin with).

Sorry for my extremely late reply, I don't use this site often. But I planned to get a full time minimum wage job until I am no longer a minor.

This is gonna be the first post I've posted for a while. It's good to be back after a couple of years. Anyway

So, I'm currently 15, a sophomore in high school, and I'm failing half my classes. I've been dealing with depression and anxiety, both have gotten worse, and a couple of months ago I got out of a failing relationship. School hasn't exactly made things easy either. Counselors do nothing to help. Whenever I ask for make up work or extra credit the teachers just shrug and continue sipping on their diet coke and watching netflix on their computers. I've literally had to go up to the teacher assistant (my school has this thing where as an elective during junior and senior year you can be a teacher assistant, which basically means you grade all the papers and do all the boring work that the teacher's don't wanna do while they continue watching netflix) to ask where she kept the make up work. He showed me an unlabeled filing cabinet in the back of the room that she has never mentioned. To be completely fair, I do sleep in class a lot... BUT I did put in effort previously. I use to be an AB student. Last year I had a 3.625 gpa, even while still in the relationship and dealing with anxiety and depression. I honestly didn't wanna focus on my classes for this long, it's kinda irrelevant to this whole post, so I'm gonna hurry up and get to the point.

So, me and my friend have been looking into alternatives recently. I did the math, including cost of living, taxes, insurance, etc. If we both got full time minimum wage jobs in our state and Nebraska (where we hope to move), we would be able to afford to live in a nice little two bedroom apartment. I don't really care about living in a big house or whatever. I don't even care about having money. My friend also has this trusted friend who's moved to Nebraska. He's currently in college working on his Bachelor's degree in computer programming since he's a few years older than us. He suggests that we move in with him. I'm not putting all my trust into that since I don't really know the guy all that well, but it would definitely help us a ton.

Anyway, I've been considering dropping out recently. The stress of school has made my anxiety and depression worth. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it or anything, school has been (a bit too much detail, I should probably put it in a spoiler) Before anyone asks, yes, I have been seeing a therapist. I'm currently off medication since the last one wasn't working, but my parents plan to get me a psychiatrist appointment soon. Anyway, my parents haven't exactly been fond of me wanting to drop out. A couple months ago I mentioned the idea of taking online classes (honestly an unresearched and stupid idea) since I thought they'd be easier than high school. They completely flipped on me, and called it "dropping out" rather than seeing it as an alternative. If I tried actually dropping out, I'd predict that they would try everything in their power to take away my ability to drop out despite it seeming to be completely legal. I've looked into alternatives recently, mainly getting a GED to qualify for most jobs that pay more than minimum wage. I've always thought you had to be 18, but it turns out you can get an age waiver and get an exception accepted from the state in most states. I never knew this. Any thoughts? Recommendations?

I know 100 people probably won't get Sega to make another season, but we'll get even more eventually. There is literally no downside to trying. How are we supposed to know whether or not they'll decide to make another one because of the petition if we don't make it and sign it in the first place. And if they don't make one anyway, oh well. At least we tried.

Okay so today a very crazy coincidence happened. Today is my half birthday, but on the announcements at my school when they announced the birthdays someone with the same first name as me has a birthday today. So someone with the same name as me has a birthday EXACTLY 6 months before/after mine. Another thing happened at my old school that just so happened to be another birthday related coincidence. Two of my friends had the exact same birthday as me. Oh yeah, ANOTHER birthday related coincidence: my birthday is on the last day of school most of the time. It won't be this time because it's on a Saturday but the last few years it has. So yeah :/ my birthday is pretty much a coincidence of it's own. I bet your wondering when my birthday is. It's June 11, 2002. But wait. June is 6. 6+2002=2008. 8. What's 8+11? 19. How many digits is 19? 2. What's 19/2? 9.5. What's 9-5? 4. How many birthdays do I have? 1. What's 4-1? 3. Half-Life 3 confirmed.

Good ideas, I'll definitely be doing Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (idk why I didn't think of that). I'll try to do some underrated games too. I'm thinking I should do Viewtiful Joe, I've never played it but I've heard it's really fun and kinda underrated.

That sounds like a good game, but I just thought of an excellent game for episode 2 mainly for nostalgia. I remember when I was like 4 and I got a Nintendo 64 I used to play Tonic Trouble all the time, I loved the game. I think it was actually my first video game. This'll be my first time playing it since I was 4 and all I remember about it is something about popcorn and you ride down a hill on something and you start in an alien ship or something I think. It's been like 9 or 10 years lol.

Okay so a couple of months ago someone named SkarmoryFeather opened a thread like this. We never really started the game because of me not having enough free time and I always thought it was my fault that we never started. So I tried to message him but then I realized he hasn't been on since Halloween. So I figured that I better make a new one to make up for making the old one shut down. Anyway here it is:
For those interested, this game starts off with one genin team(the first three replies, only OCs). This is during the Third Shinobi War pre-events, and you are Konoha shinobi (one year before Kakashi graduates.)
Here's the basics:
You start off with the three basic ninjutsu, basic taijutsu, no genjutsu skills, basic ninja tool skills, and one skill point. (Explained below.)
During the beginning, you do d rank missions and train. You get one skill point each week, which can be used to learn new skills. The points required is here:
E rank: 1 point
D rank: 5 points
C rank: 25 points
B rank: 50 points
A rank: 80 points
Basics to learn kenjutsu, fuinjutsu, genjutsu, medical ninjutsu, etc.: 7 points
As you get stronger, you get more points during the training.
You also get points/money from missions.
D rank: 1/100
C rank: 7/500
B rank: 15/2000
A rank: 22/5000
Money uses:
Refill weapons: 300
Special Weapon: Depends( Like wooden Tonfas might be 500, but a sword might be 1500)
Scrolls/Tutor: (speed up training points) 2x:300 3x: 800 4x: 1500
I'll also have random buying opportunities
There may be other prerequisites for higher level of techniques. Money is used for restocking of weapons, medical supplies, etc. And if you want a kekkei genkai, your penalty is you only get half of the points at a time.( ex. .5 per training)

Okay so I'm definitely going to review The Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker as my first video but I need some suggestions for some more videos. Any game will excluding games for the 3ds, Xbox One, or Wii U (not that I won't do videos for Wii U but I'll choose the ones for the Wii U myself). The reason I won't do it for 3ds is because I don't have a capture card. Also I don't have a Xbox One and don't plan on getting one. Other than that any game.

Okay so I had an idea to do an AMV for Naruto Shippuden. I've watched every episode of both Naruto and Shippuden excluding the filler episodes, but some people haven't so be sure to use the if you mention a spoiler. So I need an idea for a song and I really want something that hasn't been done or at least doesn't have too many popular AMVs of. Also I like Fall Out Boy so maybe something from them. Also I'd like it if you could say exactly what episodes I should use. I'll take care of the rest and when I'm finished I'll post a link to the YouTube video here. Thanks
