Favorite video game moment... well, that'd have to be the first time I actually managed to beat Final Fantasy VII (Final Fantasy 7). That is my #1 favorite game of all time and when I managed to beat it, I was amazed... it took so long (about 3 weeks) before I finally made it to the end of the game. To be honest, I don't think anyone should be allowed to answer with what they would do. Like come on, you can't honestly say you would do ANYTHING until it actually happened. That's like saying "What would you do if the world was going to end tomorrow?" Nobody really knows what they would do, until it would actually happen. If anything, most of us would probably do this: 1: Stress out for a few minutes or so 2: Calm down... hopefully 3: Find some sort of weapon 4: Find somewhere safe 5: Stress out even more from what is actually happening 6: Calm down once again and try to think clearly 7: Live as long as possible with some slight paranoia at all times Like come on people, you can't honestly say you would KNOW what to do... many people crumble under the pressure and sometimes they do the opposite of what they would do. You can't exactly act all "tough" to something that hasn't happened yet, it's almost like "what would you do if you broke your leg and you were completely away from everyone that nobody could hear you?" Like first off, you would probably scream and yell or possibly tear up at the pain Secondly, you would hopefully crawl yourself or drag yourself to someone's house or something so you could get medical attention Remember people, stress gets the best of us... and trying to sound like you would know what to do, is making a fool of yourself and kind of showing a little too much "ego". I'd have to keep it simple and just say "Ghost". Like come on, when I first played Pokémon... I couldn't hit them with ANYTHING that was normal and non-elemental. But nowadays, you can somehow punch a Gastly yet it's nothing more than a ball of smoke... so it's kind of odd, but in all seriousness... Ghost Pokémon are the best in my opinion. I honestly don't know about this one, there are so many that I want... but with the way I am, I'd probably catch a Gastly or Haunter. I'm into the whole ghost and dark kind of thing, it reminds me of a lot like creepy pasta. |

For me, there isn't even a dispute in this question at all... Generation 1. To be honest, all the Pokémon generations are amazing... but seriously, some of the Pokémon ideas are a bit "copied" or kind of tasteless. I mean, we have a Pokémon that is an ice cream cone, or even Rotom which is a Lawnmower, a Fridge, a spin Top, a hair dryer, and a stove... Like, it looks nifty and all... but seriously, it's just a bit too much for my taste. Even generation 1 has some issues with Pokémon, but at least those made sense and we're somewhat reasonable. Like for example, Geodude is just a rock... but he's a rock Pokémon, that makes sense. But for the Pokémon Vanillish, it's an ICE or WATER Pokémon... but, it's an ice cream cone. Like come on, some ideas are a bit too out there and some are within range of just plain odd. There's kind of no way to explain why it's just "not right" in my opinion, but it just seems odd... like come on, what's next? We going to have a Pokémon that looks like a pizza or a Pokémon that looks like a garden hose? Well, since we're going by first Pokémon you "caught" and not first Pokémon you had... I'd have to say the very first Pokémon I ever caught was in Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Version and the Pokémon was "Metapod". I think, to be honest... I only wanted that Pokémon cause I really wanted a Butterfree. |

Tails the Fox : Welp, I just derped right there. Hmm, since it's a video game logo... I'd have to go with ALL the Final Fantasy logos. Just the style and setting of them is interesting to me. |

Really, to be fair and honest with everyone. We all know exactly what makes a gaming console succeed or fail, it's the level of attention (or publicity) it gets. But at the same time, we cannot forget the fact that as the humans we are (no offense)... we constantly want something more and NEW. I mean, if we never had the ability to go beyond SNES and NES, we would still be playing those systems... but because people constantly want MORE and NEW, all the retro and nostalgia of our past is slowly being forgotten by many. As for myself, although systems like Xbox 360 and PS3 are amazing in their own way, I have come to appreciate and praise these older systems such as Sega Genesis, SNES, Game Boy, and other OLDER generations of systems (including Atari 2000, and so on). Come on people, let's be honest... we all know that MANY (not most, but many) of you want something NEW to add to the playing field. You want something that stands out from the rest, something that is it's own UNIQUE idea and style... but at the same time, as we progress further with our systems and ideas, most of them are just re-hashes or re-creations of earlier gaming ideas or concepts. For example (no offense to any Modern Generation gamers), one of the first FPS was the original "Doom" for SNES. Indeed it didn't have as HIGH or DEFINED graphics as today's systems, but overall... it is still more challenging than playing Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2. Don't kid me wrong, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 is an amazing game... I enjoyed playing it here and there, but after seeing how people treat their gaming lifestyle these days... MANY of you no longer play to enjoy the game, but to have some sort of achievement or success to brag about. Personally, I could post hundreds of reasons why retro games are better... but I doubt that would change your mind or opinion, as it is not my job nor my right to make you think otherwise, but in simple terms... retro is better in my opinion. If you don't mind me saying, here's some of the reasons why RETRO is better than MODERN: 1: With our retro games, we don't have some little kid or older person yelling in our ear that we are a NOOB or a TROLL or some other nonsense of that sorts. It's a MUCH less repetitive and a little more FRIENDLY. 2: We don't have to deal with people HACKING or CHEATING, because the only way they could play with you would be in your house right next to you. So if they wanted to do some cheats, they better do it while you are in the bathroom or occupied temporarily (and often, those cheats were removed IMMEDIATELY once you realized how low your friend decided to stoop to) 3: Although we had LOW graphics, we did have ORIGINAL ideas and a sense of imagination when it came to our games. I mean seriously, people these days go insane over games like Farmville, and yet... they don't realize that Harvest Moon was Farmville before it was cool. 4: Our controllers were LESS complicated, we only needed 4 buttons, a joystick (or D-pad), and 2 bumper buttons (of which weren't used OFTEN). Not to mention, our controllers didn't weigh much nor did they take up much space and they didn't require BATTERIES. Better yet, instead of posting my "opinion" just go to google and look up in this exact text "why retro games are better". The first link should be some website known as "retrojunk" and if you view that nice little "list" this guy/girl has... then you can pretty much be proven why RETRO is better. So... before I start a flame war or something else, many consoles FAIL because people constantly want something NEW and can't just appreciate what they already got. Video game logo... video game logo. Wow, that's a tough choice. At first I was thinking of going with Sega but then I was looking at Gamecube, yet to be fairly honest and not to offend anyone... PS1 (also known as Playstation or PSX) probably has the best logo. I mean look at it, a strange "2" like "S" with multiple colors and a dark black background, plus the short audio that came with it was unique in itself. Wow, that's a tough choice. Well, since I'm currently just playing whatever I can get my hands on for the time being. I don't exactly have a game I play "most often", my time is rather "limited" and so I'm just playing a little bit of everything while I can still play at all. |

Hmm, this is a rather tough decision. First off, you have to look at the game itself, then you have to come up with how easy it is and how often it is played. From there, you have to determine what kind of value it has for you... And at the moment I'm just talking nonsense, so to be honest... I'd have to say Monopoly. I grew up playing it, and it hasn't faded from my memories since. And at the moment I'm just talking nonsense, so to be honest... I'd have to say Monopoly. At the moment, I currently don't have any favorites... more or less, I tend to just "test" out various games. Mostly just playing some bootleg versions of the Pokémon games for Game Boy Color Mostly just playing some bootleg versions of the Pokémon games for Game Boy Color |

I'd probably have to say... 8 years old. Outside of the fact that I had no clue what to do for the first 3 days of playing, it was indeed an amazing experience playing Super Mario Bros 3 |

Question... so, I'm not sure if this was already made clear or not... but I play using the JAVAboy emulator thing on here. So, how exactly do I retrieve my saves on here using that and not the NEScafe or the other plugins? Sorry if this was already answered, but the information kind of stupified me. Hello and salutations to everyone, it has come to my attention that this website is indeed "special" and deserves more members appreciating the service it provides. Without further adieu, I would just like to say... thanks to the creator, and thanks to everyone who made it possible. Before I came across this website, I was unable to play the games I missed so; and now, I can once again play the games I haven't played since years ago. To inform you about myself, there isn't honestly much to tell... let's just say, I grew up playing games and this is what I do. So, take care fellow gamers and gamer-ettes... best of luck to you all and may you enjoy each game to the fullest.
