So my birthday happened a couple days ago and my uncle who I never really talk to since he lives in japan, flew over here for my birthday and gave me his old Sega Genesis. He gave me four games for it. Sonic 1 & 2, NBA Jam, and Mortal Kombat II. So my question is what are some really good , not so expensive, games for the Genesis? I'm already planning on getting Sonic & knuckles, Vectorman, and Mortal kombat 3.

I was not much into Genesis games but if you can get your hands on Phantasy Star 4 then pick it up. Easily the best RPG for the Genesis and one of my all time favorites to play.

Other than that people seem to have gotten most of the other good titles that I would know for Genesis.

I actually grew up playing Sega Genesis when I was younger, so my personal favorites would probably be Sonic 2, 3, Toy Story, Earthworm Jim 1 and 2, Tecmo Super Bowl, and World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. That's to name a few!

I'd suggest my personal favorite, Toejam & Earl. There's a sequel on the Genesis too, but it's in a completely different genre and in my opinion, inferior to the first by far, though still good.

Aside from that, if it will play on your system (not sure how region lock on the Genesis worked) Wiz 'n' Liz was an awesome, awesome game as well. Not sure what the price point for it is though.

Theme Park was probably the best simulation game ever, but again, I have no idea how much it runs.

Bonanza Brothers was pretty great in two player. It's good in single player as well, but as with most games, multiplayer is where the most fun is to be had. No idea on price.

And even though it gets a lot of hate, I loved Sonic 3D Blast. It's the only Sonic game I care for though. Also no idea on price.

And finally, Haunting: Starring Polterguy. No clue on the price. The only reason I know about Toejam & Earl's price is because I've bought it fairly recently myself.

And I'd like to second a few of the previous suggestions myself, namely World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, and Streets of Rage 2.
