Dive Man: Dive Man has two weaknesses. Either get close to him and quickly use Rush Cannon to 1-shot him or use the Spark Manbow. If you have neither of these, go on the higher platform when he does underwater, and vice versa. And stand in an area where he cannot harm you with the Water Cutter. Defeating Dive Man gets you the Water Cutter.

Skull Man: Skull Man has two weaknesses. Either use the Water Cutter to penetrate his Hell Wheel, or use Recycle Inhaler. (Hint! If you finish him off with the Recycle Inhaler, you can get the Skull Amulet!) Defeating Skull Man gets you the Hell Wheel.

Bright Man: Bright Man has two weaknesses. Either use his own weapon to 1-shot him, or use the HCR Boomerang. Defeating Bright Man gets you the Spark Manbow.

Dust Man: Dust Man has one weakness and two recommended attacks. Use Toad Man's Toad ability when he is trying to inhale you, and whenever he is not, use the Drill Torpedo or Pharaoh Shotgun. Defeating Dust Man gets you the Recycle Inhaler.

Drill Man: Drill Man has two weaknesses. Either use the Water Cutter, or use the Hell Wheel. (Hint! You can use Hell Wheel to get close to Drill Man before the battle starts by using it to speed up before you touch the floor!) Defeating Drill Man gets you the Drill Torpedo

Toad Man: Toad Man has three weaknesses and one recommended attack. If you are quick enough, you can 1-shot him with Rush Cannon before he tries to dodge it, 1-shot him with his own Toad ability, or use the Pharaoh Shotgun. The HCR Boomerang can easily damage him when he is in high places. Defeating Toad Man gets you the Toad ability.

Pharaoh Man: Pharaoh Man has only one weakness. However, when you first battle him in his stage, use your own Rockman Buster in the first phase, this does more damage to him than other Robot masters. In the second phase in his stage (or in the whole battle at Wily Stage 4, use the Drill Torpedo) Defeating Pharaoh Man gets you the Pharaoh Shotgun.

Ring Man: Ring Man has one weakness, which is the Hell Wheel. Defeating Ring Man gets you the HCR Boomerang (and Rush Cannon in v1.00)

Wave Man: Dodge his Wave, attack him, dodge his arrow, dodge his jump, repeat. Defeating Wave Man gets you the Balloon early on. (And the Trampoline ability later when you dust the Balloon Copy in Cossack Stage 1)

Crash Man: In the first part of the battle (when he only uses one crash bomb at a time), jump and then fire a charged Rockman Buster shot at him. In the second phase (when he uses three bombs at a time), do the same thing, but every second time he jumps. If you can manipulate his pattern at the perfect time, you can 1-shot him with Rush Cannon. Defeating Crash Man gets you the Balloon early on. (And the Shock Absorber later when you dust the Wire Copy in Cossack Stage 2)
