Vanelan : I can play during the week, against bots, and usually there isn't even enough internet for that lol. If I'm lucky I can get on Wednesday and Friday for like 2-4 matches.

zanderlex : Meh... I would rather play vs real people... the bots are pretty bad.

Vanelan : Hmm, then it must be some other reason that I went 1 and 10 in a match, er, i mean I'm great.

zanderlex : Hah. That's fine if you aren't good.
I don't mind if I lose as a team. I just hate when people take characters that they know won't help and go off on their own.

Vanelan : odd, I've been playing daily. Might be because I open the game straight from my desktop, instead of through the launcher?

So... Interest anyone? Attempting to save thread, no one has touched it in months.

I main Lucio, Reinhardt and Reaper.

Lucio is a great support with his speed boosts for pushing and booping enemies into inconvenient places. I also use him for distracting an enemy teams defense and rushing away giving my team a small window. He's also great for contesting points.

Reinhardt is probably the best tank in my opinion. He can deal great damage to anyone pushing your line and push them back. He can also break and an enemies defense with the proper support. His shield also makes a push from the enemy team that much harder.

I also play Reaper for dps. I've gotten quite good at flanking. The only frustrating part is the fact that literally most of the characters in the game can counter or avoid your ult easily. You really have to coordinate your ult with Reinhardts earth shatter or Sombras EMP for example. Or you can take them by surprise.

Just like in Tf2, I find myself enjoying mostly a supporting role in combat with the team.   So I have one fave of each of the rankings that I prefer to play.   Oddly enough only a few of the Over watch heroes I play are similar to Tf2 mains of mine so ill make a note of that as well.   I play on both the Ps4 and on my Pc as Belmontzar as always.

Offence:   While most of the time these characters are used for Dps and such,  I tend to stick to Soldier 76 here.  He is a much simpler character to play and being able to heal yourself and Sometimes Rocket jump  away from problems is  a big help.   Being able to help my team with a dropped medical pack is a huge personal benefit as well.   However since he is used by a lot of people, I genuinely only play him myself during rare games or when playing with the bots.
Defence: Bastion: Like my man the heavy, I tend to enjoy defensive Sentry positions.  Keeping on the point, staying close to the payload, and applying suppressive fire to whatever comes my way.  Like the heavy weapons guy Bastion's best weapon is a mini gun, only with infinite ammo [for the most part] and its able to heal itself in between combat rounds.    I'm not a very mobile unit for battle but sometimes all ya need is a little extra firepower to keep that payload slowed down.   YES I do like to Sit on the payload as a Bastion, despite how annoying that is to many players I find the strategy perfectly affective and will do what I can to help the team.
Support:  Medic - er I mean Mercy.  The angel of healing, is a very fun character for me to play, though I'm a lot better on the ps4 than the pc with this character.  Being able to swap between healing and adding a damage boost is a great mini meta game for me to play.   Just, you know.. Try to not get me killed?  Please?  Its a bad habit of mine but I tend to instinctively hit Revive when the person I'm healing falls down.  So sorry in advance. 
Tank:   HAMMER DOWN!   Ya want the support? You got the support.  Ya want a wall?  You got a wall, and you can shoot through it too!   You want the itty bitty bugs CRUSHED under the weight of my mighty 'no aim required' Hammer of justice?  Rein is almost everything I love about the other characters.   I can Smash people,   I can Stun people,  I can save allies, and..  I die really quickly cause EVERYONE targets the Rein man.   Ill be honest, despite all my years playing TF2 my aim still sucks so having a character where I just charge in and Smack people around is a real joy.   But this... THIS is no demo knight my friend.  Versatility that feeling of power of Strength! This guy is a very happy guilty pleasure of mine.   Just like with Bastion  I will jump on the payload and Ride that baby all the way to the objective.   Stop, Drop, it's hammer time.

Sorry about all of my rambling here hehe..  I just get so happy and hyper talking about this game .

My favorite is definitely D.Va.  I don't really know why, but I just have so much fun playing as her, and I suck when I play tanks.  I also have a lot of fun with Lucio.
