Alright guys! I'm back with another review for everyone! This one I'm really feeling the rhythm with Hatsune Miku Project Diva DX! Ok let's get started!

Graphics: 10
SOOOOO CUTE!!! Ok I know before that I have mentioned being a fan of Japanese culture and all of the scenery and such in a previous review. This definitely fits the bill. Many of the background videos in the songs have places based in Japan or a Japanese theme such as in Senbozakura the area is covered in cherry blossom trees in full bloom which I am another sucker for... There are a few outfits they can where especially some of miku's outfits that are based on traditional garb like the yukata. Beyond that I have found the overall design of the characters as adorable and appealing in chibi form and I just can't get enough. Personal favorite goes to Kaito though as he always tries to look cool and dignified but I find him just too cute for words.

Sound: 10
Ok if you are going to make a rhythm game then the sound better be good right? From the songs that you can play to the general music during selections and in your play room if you will where you can interact with the chibi form of your choice is well made. There are at least 40 or more songs to play and each one has it's own appeal. Many of my favorites are as follows: Senbozakura, Cendrillon, Snowman, Hello Mr. Earthling, On the Rocks and there are a few other who's names are escaping me at the moment as I am writing this. I also may have misstated that last song name...

Addictiveness:10
So you want to know how much I have played this game? Easily over 100 hours since I got it I believe around Christmas time 2015. I have unlocked all the songs though have not beaten them on all difficulties though. I tend to play my favorites the most. Anyways with all of things you can do with the game it poses a serious strain if you are busy as you will want to play this game especially prior fans of the Vocaloids. I may have only just gotten into them but I am hooked now. All because of this game.

Story: 8
Ok so while each song tells part of a story there are multiple story lines that are represented and I am not sure if any are fully represented with all the songs in the set there. Story wise they are not for kids as they get very dark and there is at least one that I can't even bear to play the song due to the background images. But there is no overarching storyline so that is why I had to dip this one down a bit. I couldn't put it too low or I am sure I would have gotten backlash from fans but I do believe it is low on full story points which makes that a sad part of the game.

Depth: 10
So depth wise there is plenty to do besides the obvious playing of the rhythm side of the game. You get your own room that you can play around in with your choice of one of the chibi forms of the vocaloids. Kaito for me! You can dress them up in the outfits that you like though you have to buy them from the shop first which requires playing the rhythm side to get money. You can buy accessories to place around the room which while it does not do much it does give a small sense of personalization to it as well as pick from five or six different room styles. You can even play two different mini games with your chibi, Mikuverse and another one in which you shoot colored balls to erase lines of colored balls coming down at you. There is even an option to make a play list of your favorite unlock songs in the game. There is a dance studio where you can change the dance steps for a song of your choice. I know there is probably more but I tend to stick mostly with the rhythm game.

Difficulty: 10
I give this a ten as some songs are nearly impossible to play on hard, at least for me... There are six different difficulties over two play styles, tap and button. Those two modes should be self explanatory. So you have easy, normal, and hard for both modes. Easy tap has only one color for you to tap and not much else aside from slide notes. Normal adds another color and same for hard as well as adding more difficult rhythms to the song as you go. Same goes for the button style only you start with two buttons (a and b) and then it adds the Y button in normal and the X button in hard mode. I have yet to beat any song in hard button mode. I have beaten a few in hard tap though as I find tap to be easier. There are also times when you have to hold notes out and also spin either the circle pad in button mode or the stylus in tap mode. Those give extra points when you do. They can also pull dual lines on you or even staggered button presses on said dual lines.

Overall: 9.6
So this game has a lot to offer either casual rhythm game fans or hard core Miku fans. It is fun and well designed graphically and audio wise it is also well made. The songs are catchy and the background graphics for them are well made... mostly... The little chibi characters are adorable and the customization of them makes them even cuter, like little dolls or something. With so much to do it is hard to get bored with the game though you might get frustrated with some of the songs. But that is to be expected in a rhythm game.

Alright guys that is all for this one! Thanks for reading as always and I hope you have fun if you decide to give the game a try. See ya!

Wonderful review as always. Its really sad how I can't play the game...I don;t have the console for it. Much less any modern consoles. This game sounds unique in a way. So it seem this game is for like mature audiences to play. Considering how you said some places in the story is dark and all. Maybe if I get the 3ds one day I could try the game out for myself to see if I like it. I might do actually. Anyways I look forward to your new review star.
