A demo to Resident Evil 7 has been released and it's called Resident Evil 7 Teaser : The Beginning Hour.
It's said to be very similar to P.T. and even mimics the overall atmosphere of the game.
I never really cared about the Resident Evil series, but I found out it looked just like P.T., and I had to play it.
I've played it and although it's short (10-20 minutes) it looks exactly like P.T., but with RE elements in it. In my opinion I still prefer P.T., but the RE 7 teaser is still awesome. Also, much like P.T., RE 7 holds many secrets.

For anyone who has seen/played the game, what are your thoughts on it, and how do you think it compares to P.T.?

BestGamer24 : I thought it was awesome. I do think that this demo still holds many secrets that we haven't found yet. There are ghosts that you can see and everything. I can honestly say that Capcom has my money lol.

I liked it. After Resident Evil 5, I kind of gave up on the series, but it looks good enough to get back into it. (Not because I didn't like it, I loved 5 but never had a chance to get any newer ones) So this one looks good enough to make sure that I save up enough for it. The pre order for the game is already out on Amazon and since I have Prime, I can get the PS4 version for only $48 so I'll probably order it over the summer while I have a job.

Now granted I haven't actually played this demo, and a lot of people know that this isn't going to be part of Resident Evil 7, but from watching a few people play it. It looks interesting, but it is very hard for me to say "OH MAN Resident Evil is back!". It's hard for me to even say anything nice about Capcom. As far as I am concerned, they are a shell of their former selves as a company. They have done so many shady and stupid things that they have lost me. Sure they have tried to redeem themselves, but they have dropped the ball. Resident Evil was dead to me after the fourth game, I own RE5, and didn't care much for it, and RE6 was awful. I know friends that will buy RE7, and I will definitely give it a try, but my hopes are real slim. At this point, I am more focused on Outlast 2, when it comes to survival horror. The first game to me was one of the best horror games in the last 10 years.

Well I do hope the game goes as expected for the many fans of the game I think there will be a whole lot more things added to the game and I'll check that out once the full game comes out. I haven't been able to play the new and recent resident evil games but plan onto sometime near the future of when I can. Until then I am just going to have to watch streamers play the game.

From what I've seen it looks awesome. Though to be completely honest, I have no idea what the OP is referring to when they keep saying "P.T." lol. 

HeavyMetalGamer pretty much summed up my feelings on the franchise and Capcom (for the most part) as well.

Hopefully they bring the franchise a little closer to it's roots over the more action focused titles they've been pumping out as of late
