I want to see how creative people can be. So most people know the myth about Mew in Pokemon Red. Use strength to move the truck and find Mew and stuff like that. I want to see people make their own myth on how to find Mew! Here's mine ,

In order to find Mew in Pokemon Red you have to beat the elite 4. Afterwards go to Ceurlean Cave to find Mewtwo. Engage into battle with Mewtwo and you have to let him kill you with Struggle! If he kills you normally it won't work. After he kills you with struggle you must go and beat the elite 4 again. Then go back to Ceurlean Cave and when you reach the place where Mewtwo usually is Mew is there instead! Then just use a masterball and capture Mew!.

There's my fake myth on how to catch Mew in Pokemon Red. Now let me see yours!

To get a mew, first you must open your cartridge up and take the chip out. Next, draw a pentagram on it, while chanting "scoot the burbs" "burbs to scoot" and then reassemble it. Next, you must start a file and name the trainer "Joel" and then play all the way until lavender town, then smash the game with a hammer. The soul of Joel will come out, praise you for your efforts towards the dark lord, and then give you a real mew. Only it's actually just a pidgey painted to look like a mew.

To get mew you have to walk back and forth between each city connected to the mainland 3 times, then go to the Casino, and win a jackpot 3 times in a row, then you have to find and catch an entire team of Drowsy, go to the Elite 4 and when you enter the door to the first trainer the screen will flicker and mew will appear.

This WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS. Just a heads up if you've never played Red, Blue, Yellow, or any version of them.

To get a mew, you must first beat Brock using only a level 10 or under Pidgey / Ratata in your roster. Next, you must make it through Mt. Moon encountering nothing but Clefairy along the way. In cerulean, you have to make it to Bill without healing once you start the Nugget Bridge trainers. Then, you must leave your highest leveled Pokémon in the day care center for the rest of the game. After this, you need to clear out the S.S. Anne, every single trainer, with nothing but a single Normal type Pokémon, and without healing once (this includes defeating your Rival and Captain). After, you must get through Lt. Surges Gym with a single water type Pokémon, not exiting or healing once entered. Then, you must go through Diglett's cave, encountering nothing but Dugtrio along the way, as well as making the Mr. Mime trade on the other side your first trip through, as well as encountering only Dugtrio on the return trip. Then, you must make your way through the dark cave without using Flash at all. In Celadon, you must collect every single hidden coin (person or found on floor), and proceed to win over 10000 coins only through betting. Then, in lavender town, you must make your way all the way up to Mr. Fuji without using the healing circle, or leaving the tower once entered, as well as encountering nothing but Haunter or Cubone on the way up (excluding the single Marowak of course). On cinnabar, you must defeat Blaine's entire gym with a single grass type without exiting once and on the first try. Then, you must defeat Giovanni using only Pokémon under or at level 30 (this includes them not being able to level to 31 mid-fight. Very important detail. Also, you are not allowed to save the game a single time through the entire play through.

If all of this is accomplished, after defeating the Elite 4 + Champ, a level 1 Mew will be deposited to your PC when the game restarts after having completed the main story. Good luck, you will need it lol.
