Yesterday I was wondering about some of things I should be thankful for despite the current hardships in my life, And came up with this:

I'm alive and well with no diseases.

I have a roof over my head.

My little brother and sister.

I'm able to make enough money to get by everyday in life.

My caring friends on this site.

I'm alive here today to be typing this.

I realize that I should be thankful for all of these things as some folks are worse off than me.

Yeah I got ya, I'm thankful for all these things save for the money one since my parents do that, though I'm thankful for that. The thing that I'm thankful for is quite simple actually as it is the reason this post even exists.

I'm thankful for all the gifts in life especially the meaningful ones. I'm also thankful for my family for at least making somewhat of an effort to encourage me and my teachers for giving me one of the most valuable asset in life which is knowledge. I'm also thankful for the opportunity to live life and all the small things that make me an individual. Additionally I'm thankful for my time on and off Vizzed.

I am grateful for too many things to list, but I'll name a few.
First off my family. Me and my family have never seen eye to eye on many things, but they've always been supportive in one way or another.
All the friends I've made. Unfortunately with most of the friends I made growing up, we've grown apart as we got out of school. A couple joined the military, A couple moved away. And the last two won't talk to me because I used to do drugs, even though I never did them wrong. I still have one friend I made at my last job and lived with for a while. Dude is as thugged out as they come with a heart of gold, and he's the best friend I could've ever asked for. I'm thankful for having all of them be a part of my life, as they've helped shaped me into who I am today more so than any other influence.
I'm grateful for where I grew up. Not only the country, but even the small suburban / farmland town. There are way too many people who hate where they grew up for one reason or another, not realizing or caring the blessings far outweigh the burdens. Once my own life is back where I'd like it to be, I'm going to do volunteer work in other struggling countries where people really need help.
I'm grateful for my health. I've done a decent bit of damage (some permanent) from using drugs and the lifestyle that comes with it. I've got 2 scars on my arm from being shot with a .22 before. I could've just as easily been killed when that happened, so I'm pretty grateful to still be breathing.
