Hey gang, just wondering if there are any fans of Megaman Battle Network or Starforce, the RPG spinoff series of Megaman for game boy advance and DS. They're a personal favorite of mine and I just wanted to see if there are any others out there who share my love for this series!!

Personally Megaman Battle Network brought me something addicting with strange RPG gameplay I had yet to witness however I don't think the series gets the attention it deserves. I did have a chance to play Megaman Starforce however I've only gotten through the tutorial I hope it is as great as the other games!

The gameplay of Star Force isn't very different from Battle Network, the only real changes are characters. storyline, setting, battle chips, 3D battling, and a bunch of other small changes. But for me, that's exactly what I wanted and I think it works very well.

I've only gotten to play a part of one of them and I can't remember which one it was, but I loved it and would love to pick another one up sometime. In fact I probably will pick one up soon off of Amazon. It's a cool concept and a nice twist on a heavily used genre. It manages to be a fresh take on an old favorite (RPGs), even though I'm not a megaman fan.

Eirinn : For sure, I definitely agree with you! It really changes up the formula with its awesome trading card/action battle system. I'm not really much of a traditional Megaman fan, either.
