Look, it is true there's still equality in today's world between sexes, regardless of where you look. There are still many men imposing their rights on women as if it were still the 1800s.

However, feminism in the United States, or at least the vocal majority, sadly, seems to replace equality with preference towards women, which is the complete opposite of equality. Reversing the inequality in your favor is not equality. If you have 10 grams of weight on one end of a balance and 5 on the other, if you add ten to the lesser side, the two sides are still lacking equality. It's the same reason that I have a serious problem with the fact that even literally touching a woman could get you arrested, or, at the very least, is viewed as completely inadequate by anyone around; on the other hand, a woman beating the living hell out of a man is perfectly acceptable, condoned, and, at times, celebrated.

But I've rambled a bit over. Point is, equality is a medium and ideal that no society has reached yet. These movements, in moderation, are actually necessary to assure that we continue to inch as close as possible to that ideal.

I'm not going to get into a political argument.

Feminists are annoying.
Meninests are annoying.

That sweater doesn't really amuse me. It just feeds fire to the flames.

I get it's satire or a joke. But feminism isn't really a joke.

There are feminists and then there are "feminists".

One actually wants equality (whether you believe it or not, in many places, even in the US, they are not truly equal and discriminated against). The other wants more.

I get you are mocking the latter, but the fact you can mock it is proof there is still work to be done when it comes to equality

I'm not responding to this thread further. It can only lead to a Pyrrhic argument.

It's been a while since I've gone out of my way to make fun of others and I'm much more tolerant than I used to be.  Maybe, Tgags, you can help me out.

If you're wearing this shirt, aren't you just bringing more attention to the feminists themselves?  And I understand you're just looking for attention and conflict.

Why?

Why is it so important to you to create conflict and attack a group you don't care for.  Aren't you technically doing the same thing feminists are by making them all one group that 'is wrong' with ideology?

I know plenty of feminists who follow the right way and want equality for men and women.  They understand equality isn't a zero-sum game and men and women can be equal together.  They know equality doesn't mean women get more at the expense of men.

And you're lumping them into the same group that's screaming all men are rapists.

That ain't fair.

So, again, why is this such a big deal that you go out of your way to get a shirt and wear it around, waiting for people to yell at you?  What does it matter?
