Rip A0 Exits. Not gonna do it, too much work.
Instead... wait let me introduce. Hi there! You may be wondering what the thread is. Simple, it's for show of uh.. challenges. You suggest a challenge, I do them. If I win you win nothing; if I lose you win Viz. However I will still try to beat it even after losing the challenge.


How will this work? And what kind of challenges? Any challenge of any game -- No deaths/no damage runs are not allowed. Since the no damage wasn't said at the beginning I will do the SMW No Damage challenge, though.
If you need to know what my main games currently are, here's a quick list, from top to bottom which I play most to least:

So yeah, as you can see, I'm a Donkey Kong Country person. DKC3 being my favourite one, and all 5 games listed above me planning on trying to run the game. Well, I already run DKC3 and SMW but you get the idea. Are these the only games I want challenges?
Do you want me to play Battletoads, a hard NES game? Well that's going to be done. Damn it Jiings, you evil monster.
Any how, you can suggest whatever you want to. Make sure it's possible. Now, how will this be done? Easy.

Suggest a challenge and it'll be done. If the challenge is super easy and I do not do it after 5 tries, you get a lot of Viz. Again, SUPER easy I mean. If it's SUPER easy and I lose, you will get a lot of Viz from that. I don't know how much exact.
However, if it's extremely hard you will barely gain any Viz when I lose -- as it's extremely hard. Now, how do I lose?

"If I do not win your challenge within 5 tries, you win. If I do it in 1 to 4 tries, I win and you do not gain any Viz. And no, when I win you do not have to pay me at all."

That means that this does not cost ANY Viz. So yeah, it's free. It's a simple way to try this and try to win Viz.

Remember, if your challenge is easy and I fail, you get many Viz. If it's average level and I fail you get not that much Viz but also not a low amount. If it's a hard challenge, you barely win any Viz.

Also, when I GIVE UP a challenge you WILL gain an extra amount of Viz based on difficulty.


Another thing that I have to mention is that some challenges that will be listed as done (when done) will also be challenges done by Twitch users who probably aren't doing it for the Viz. More about that below.


-----Some extra information-----

I will also be livestreaming your challenge which will be fun. I must livestream the challenge, that's a rule against myself. That also means that you will be shout-outed multiple times whenever I do the challenge!
Twitch users on my channel can also suggest challenges, and, if you wish, you may suggest a challenge in the way the users on my Twitch channel does.

Just go to this link and suggest it from there; if you do it this way, please include whether you want me to shout out you when I am streaming. If you get shout outed on stream, your username will in any way also appear in here. My comment: I blame Speedrun strategies for killing this run. I will still do this, though. This shouldn't be a hard challenge but it's just that I'm so stupid. The first 5 tries won't be shown here but I will do show all the next tries (especially since I got a MUCH better layout on my Stream now. Chat looks great and all... And the France Flag is on the layout... #PrayForFrance), and I promise on my heart I'll do it in less than 10 tries.

Difficulty -- 7/10... It's not that hard but I started DKC3 and stopped SMW and because of that I just couldn't help but lose. Thanks, User, you got me back into the SMW business.

I mean, every single levels will be gone, and instead I will replace the levels with challenges. We advance challenge by challenge, and people gain Viz by doing challenges.

An example of a Challenge I have thought of already, is a SMW challenge. "All Switches".
That's a& simple challenge. You need to activate all Switches and you're done. That challenge is in place of "Yellow Switch Palace".
So, instead of doing levels, we do a Challenge from a game. It can be a game such as Donkey Kong Country, SMW2: Yoshi's Island, Mega-Man, Metroid, and yes, even Pokémon. This thread's purpose over here is for suggesting challenges as I am short on Challenge.

An LP? ...lol no. If I would do a LP of SMW that'd be stupid as hell. I speedrun SMW (I may quit SMW and start speedrunning DKC3 though), and I've done a couple 96 Exits run. I know pretty much every exit.

However, this here would be kinda blind to the Vizzed community; you would know all the exits... But you won't know the Challenges until we reach them. How do we reach a challenge? Again, first we do Yoshi's Island 2, then we do Yoshi's Island 3, then YI4, then Iggy's Castle, then Dnnut Plains 1 secret exit and then Donut Secret 1. When we reach DS1 for example we get a new challenge, well, 2. Sorry if my explanation is really bad... I should be able to explain this much better when I start the whole thing. Now I just need Challenges.

Also, the reason I'd do a video of the suggested challenges is to see if how hard the challenge is. Then I could set a Difficulty/Length Rating. For the fun of it, I also upload the video. No, I will not do an LP of this. Though, tbh, I'll probably end up doing some of the challenges on stream. Speaking of streaming, *streams*

Easy peasy. Since there's no actual way to lose this one because you have many tries I will use another restriction; 5 deaths max.
It's funny because I have an Overworld strategy for this

I have just one question before I give my challenge. Is there anything against making a more specific challenge with multiple rules to it? I have a decent idea concerning Metroid Zero Mission, but I'm just not sure if there's such thing as being TOO specific.

It can be specific if you want to. It's not a big deal. I like specific challenges to be honest

I'll give you a fairly straight forward challenge.

Beat ANY level on Silver surfer for the NES without save states. Good luck! And have fun lol

Beat Mike Tyson in Mike Tyson's Punch Out.

TheJmsGamer : Alright, then. Prepare yourself.

The challenge? Metroid Zero Mission: Normal Difficulty, low (in this case, 10) % run, on GBA.

Summary: The standard run itself is pretty self explanatory. You have to grab only 10 items (this includes any standalone powerups, which means the required items already take up all but one of the 10% (9% is the absolute lowest completion percentage)) and complete the game.

Additional rules: No more than 7 deaths, with saves allowed (limited number of saves: 4). AI manipulation is allowed during the Ridley boss fight (I'd be asking an awful lot if I disallowed that!).

Note: If you're not certain what items are required, they are the following: three Unknown Items, Ice Beam, Power Grip, Varia Suit, Morph Ball, Morph Ball Bombs, and Missile Tank. Trust me, the rest of the items are not necessary. If you think they are, you're wrong. I'm leaving one extra item slot for your choosing.

Preferred choreography of run: The only thing I ask is that you sequence break the Varia Suit before heading to Norfair, assuming you know how to bomb jump correctly. If not, no worries; this is more just an extra credit point than an extra rule.

Difficulty: It's hard for me to accurately gauge difficulty of this challenge, since I myself have completed this numerous times. I'll go with 5 or 6 out of 10, but I'll leave the final decision on its difficulty up to you. Good luck.
