There are a lot of moments I hate so much in stories, but I'll name one for now and probably come back to this thread later.

I really don't like the moment in To Kill a Mockingbird, when

Spoiler:
Tom Robinson is guilty after his court case. Blacks would always be guilty back at the time this book took place in, but that moment still made me angry.

Edit: I chose the worst layout for this post, sorry. BEWARE OF THE SPOILER

Zlinqx : Your post reminds me of an article I read a while back. Something like "5 Video Games where Dying still means something".

After I got to about...I dunno...number one, I realized this list was terrible because when a character dies and they come back AT ALL, death doesn't matter anymore. Just as well to say " they went to eat some cake (or pudding? :3) and came back in time for the end sequence. Yay! Really quite lame in most cases.

Light Knight : I know that's right. lol Especially when the jerk is perceived as the good one by the story itself. Or really anytime the bad guy is portrayed as the good guy. Just...no.

My choice (finally)
The ending of one of my favorite books: The Daughter of The Hawk.

Spoiler:
Long story short, this guy sacrifices the rest of his life after his friend dies, hunting down his friend's daughter and raising her, then in the end clearly they have feelings for one another AND THEY DO NOTHING ABOUT IT! It ends by saying something like "He'll die alone and sad, and he doesn't really deserve any better than that because he didn't deserve any of the good he experienced, it was all dumb luck.

I mean COME ON!!! Who does that??? Who ends a story that way? Is that even an ending?? I was so mad about that, I mean I just spent all this time reading this whole book and falling in love with these characters and the direction they were headed annnnnd *turns page* What the pudding??!? Why even???

Final rant about it:
Spoiler:
I mean, I don't care how the guy got his money, he deserved that happiness the author deprived him of because he spent his life raising someone else's kid out of a sense of loyalty and devotion, and deprived himself of any good thing he could have had in order to care for her. Can't say I know many people who would do that, nor can I say anyone could possibly deserve happiness more for their actions.

That was just all kinds of wrong.

I've rambled too long already, but I'm literally having to force myself to stop. That ending still riles me that badly four and a half years after reading it. Too bad because it was an amazing book.

Final Weapon : If you had read the post, you would have known that it can apply to any way of telling a story :]. It can be a storybook, video game, TV show, or anything else that has a plot.

NintendoFanKimmy : Oh, sorry. I wasn't paying attention. Well, the part I hated the most was in the first pokemon movie Mewtwo strikes back when ash got turned to stone.

Personally, I hate that part, where, in a really good story that I like so dearly, ends.   I am not afraid to admit that when I beat Tales of Symphonia I actually cried because there was no more game to play.   and by beat, I mean the EX dungeon, not Mithos.

A user of this :

That song. . . how appropriate. . .

I think you nailed Disney's number one issue there, along with many other existing films. It's just so forced, and ridiculous. Almost as fake as a gay romance.

Though you gotta hand it to Forzen. . . I think it made a good point with prince Hans and all.

Dark knight of the blackened sun. I am Sword Legion, one of many. My mask is thick, and my armor is strong. All the more necessary in a world such as this. . .

I am going to say naruto for instance. I mean I was really annoyed with the story on anime because of how sakura was. So I went to go to the fanifiction section and to read the plot that I was happy with. I read one. It was about sakura being strong and fearless ninja in the village. But then sasuke comes back. In hopes of her hatred for him she starts to become weak again. And doesn't do what she was meant to do. So then I think what's the point of wasting that time for years to train to beat sasuke that she said who she was going to kill? Stories like that really gets me upset. Or even ones that don't make sense at all in the moment.

I really hate when a storyline is building up to something awesome, and then it just ends with a cliffhanger that is never continued on. It doesn't happen all that often, but it's one of the most annoying things of the century when it does happen.
