Davideo7 : Mednafen Video Recording Support for Sega 32x and Sega CD Games.

A feature I want is to align the screen of the game. Not cut some of the game screen off. I cannot play Mario Paint. The reason is because i cant see the bottom to go somewhere else.

fearlessjazp567 : It shouldn't be cutting off any of the screen. Is this just a problem with certain games or certain systems?

Just letting everyone know that the next thing to be added to the RGR Plugin will be MAME/MESS netplay. I'm not sure when though since Tom and I have encountered a lot of issues with it. I've invested far more money and time into it than I had expected, it's definitely going to end up being the most expensive feature added to the RGR Plugin but it'll definitely be worth it.

Besides MAME/MESS netplay, the next plugin release should include a more up to date version of MESS/MAME, possibly MAME/MESS fullscreen, MAME/MESS High Score and Speedrun support, and possibly even MAME/MESS cheat support. In other words, mostly MAME/MESS related stuff. Beyond that though I'm not too sure what things will be added and how soon since my budget at the moment is currently empty and so therefore any funding from here on out will have to come from either donations or from me selling stuff.

I'm finally getting around to adding my input to this thread, but I'm not sure if it will make any difference. So for that reason I'm not going to post a 200 word post like I had planned, but I'll just list what I think needs to be included with this update (minus the in-depth details).

I voted for Other (specify), Update MAME/MESS, and MAME/MESS Full Screen Support.

Other
• The ability to switch disks for Apple II games
• The ability to switch discs for Sega CD games
• Update FCEUX to the latest version. This will greatly expand the NES library in the RGR as well as add support for certain NES games which only work with Mednafen.
• The ability to play Sufami Turbo games with ZSNES

Update MAME/MESS
• The MAME games which are either 'Vs.' or 'Playchoice-10' titles don't work with the RGR Plugin, but they do work with MAMEUI. Not sure if this is something that can be looked into for the RGR Plugin or not.
• Add MESS support for certain or all systems. There are certain games in the RGR which won't work with the current Plugin since they're incompatible with Mednafen, but they work fine in MESS. One example is California Games II (sms)

Also, I almost forgot one important detail: with the new Plugin, Mednafen no longer supports PAL PSX games. I posted about it in a staff thread a couple weeks ago:

The current beta actually does have an updated MAME/MESS and MAME/MESS full screen support. I summoned you to another thread regarding the Playchoice-10 stuff working with the latest as well. Adding more systems to support MESS is something I can actually take care of and I'll work on that within a week hopefully. The rest of that stuff I'm sure Tom can get taken care of before 2.25 goes public.

But yeah, all of this stuff would be awesome. Especially the Cheat Code feature, which would make SSB a lot easier. 
Davideo7 : I can see why DS games wouldn't work, (*Looks at Wikipedia* WHY ARE PEOPLE STILL MAKING GAMES FOR THIS THING???) but GC might be possible. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't most if not all of the GC ROMs 1 gigabyte? Heck, all of the GC ROMs I have are smaller than CarnEvil, which is a game in the RGR. I guess uploading all those 1gig files might take a while, but boy would it be worth it. Oh, right. Copyright stuff. But technically Big N's not making any money off of the GC since it was discontinued like 8 years ago (Unless they get off their butts and release GC Virtual Console, BUT THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN, so yeah...)

I was able to play the infamous Playchoice Arcades with the latest Plugin. Great! lol

Too bad the Vs. titles will not work though.

I would definitely go with cheat code support some don't like it but you don't have to use it. The ability to go back to a game you already enjoy and have super stats or get past a impossibly hard task makes it interesting again. A game you already love that get better and gives more rewards is a win win in my book.
