Yeah... guilty as charged.

I've only encountered snakes maybe 2-3 times in my life, and the encounter was never pleasant... that said, even though I was more afraid of them than something like a spider for example, I've been alive for 27 years and don't live in an area where snakes are very common, whereas spiders are basically omnipresent no matter where you live, lol. Even though snakes slither, there's just something extra unsettling about the way spiders crawl and scuttle around with 8 eyes and legs that makes me very uneasy on an evolutionary level, lol.

I've only ever been to one convention before, and while I'm glad I finally experienced what it was like, it's not something I think I'd ever want to to do again. Maybe I'll go to a concert someday and it'll be a good time, but for now, I'm not immediately interested in going to one.
