I noticed back when I was in school that there were a lot more students that had physical and mental illnesses. During the current times I don't see it quite as much and often see many being pulled out of school to be home schooled or private schooling. This may be an attempt to give them the best possible chance to succeed because public schools are very crowded and teacher to student ratio is terrible. Or maybe they were trying to avoid their kid being a much picked on target of bullies at school. Whatever the case may be I do see a difference in what was in my day to what is now. So here's what I wanted to ask about this :
1. Do you see many challenged students at your school ? ( physical, mental, etc.. )
2. Thinking back in your school years ... does it seem more or less than the time you are remembering ?
3. Should they stay in public schools or go home school or private education ?
4. What's your over-all thoughts on this matter ? ( please keep it clean .. this is not the debate section )

I'm not sure what's considered a lot of students with physical/mental illnesses, but I've seen at least 4 of them in my school. I don't think that's a lot, and I think that's more than I saw before.

I went to 3 different schools throughout my elementary school years, but I don't remember seeing any physically/mentally disabled students during those years. I attended one school for all 3 of my middle school years, and I remember seeing 3 of them there.

In my opinion, it depends on how they feel whether they should stay in public school or not.

If they feel like public school won't be miserable for them even if they get teased/bullied, and they want to be around a lot of people and make friends, I think they should stay in public school.

If they feel uncomfortable with being in public school and they want to be alone in school, they should change to being homeschooled.

Over the course of my 13 years in school, I have seen an even scale with the health condition, but it mostly depends on where the schooling is at and on what the poverty happens to be on where that school district which does play a key factor on all the physical and Mental illness, like the poorer districts have a higher illness and richer districts have a lower illness.

I think I also remember that those 13 years I physically went to school more that I remember to tell you the truth, sure, when you get older, time goes quicker to your point of view and those 13 years seem like it was nothing, but physically going through those years from a little kid to an adult seem like it took forever. So it mostly depends on your mindset.

As for the other thing, I feel to my point of view, I think others should stay in a public school because the reason why is home-schooling has less of an educational impact and private schools cost a whole lot of money.

For my final thoughts, I think that over time, nothing really too much change with the amount of illness a student has, it mostly depends on the poverty rating mostly to my point of view.

It wasn't until high school that I noticed that some people just didn't learn as quickly as I did. And in my two last years, there were people who were downright retarded (medically, of course). There also was this autistic girl. She had all those weird speech habits but had an "absolute ear"; she could reproduce any sound, any time.

As for your question,
3) Since I don't believe education should be government-run, that leaves the two other choices. I don't think either is superior
