Ah Centipede, this is another PC game I enjoyed playing as a kid. It's the 3d remake of the classic arcade game with the same name. I remember how much fun I had playing this game. I enjoyed it as much as the PC version of Frogger. Since I already made a review for Frogger I figured I might as well make a review for this game as well.

Graphics: 10/10 The visuals for this game were outstanding for it's time. The environments look very realistic and beautiful. The plants, buildings, and the land look gorgeous. Also the bugs look menacing especially the centipedes. Another thing I like is that you can change the camera from the normal view to a 3rd person view and even a 1st person view which gives players whole new perspective of the world. For these reasons I'm giving the graphics a 10!

Sound: 7/10 Centipede for the PC has a very catchy soundtrack that really sets the mood for each area. No matter how long it takes me to get past a certain level I never get tired of hearing the music which is great for a game that's as tough as this one. There are better soundtracks out there but for a game like this it does the job so because of that I give the sound a 7.

Addictiveness: 8/10 Centipede has a good amount of replay value. You'll be playing levels over and over again because of how difficult they can be, also you'll want to come back to each level to save all the people and protect each building that way you'll get a much higher score. Plus killing centipedes and spiders and other bugs is so much fun this is an addictive game. For those reasons I give the addictiveness an 8.

Story: 7/10 Normally Centipede games don't have a storyline, but this one does. Every hundred years the Queen Pede and her bug minions try to take over the world. Every time this happens a hero is chosen to defend the Wee people. This time the hero is Wally, an unlikely hero who must destroy the Queen Pede once and for all using a vehicle known as the shooter. For an arcade remake this game's got a good story and for that reason I give the story a 7.

Depth: 7/10 This game has 2 game modes: Arcade and Adventure. Arcade as you can probably guess is the same as the original Centipede game. Adventure mode is the story mode which has 5 different worlds: Weedom, Frostonia, Inferium, Enigma, and Evile. Each world has 5 levels with the final level in each world being a boss stage. Also in each level there's people to save and buildings to protect. There's plenty of stuff to do and for that reason I give the depth a 7.

Difficulty: 10/10 Centipede for the PC is an extremely hard game. Each level has tons of centipedes you must kill in order to progress. Doing this plus having to save all the people and protecting all the buildings from all the different kinds of bugs is a pain. Also the boss battles are insanely tough if you get hit by any of their projectiles you'll be instantly killed and you'll have to start the fight again and if you lose all your lives you'll have to start the whole level again, meaning you'll have to kill the centipede's all over again before you can fight the actual boss again. That's really frustrating. This is one of the hardest games I've ever played for that reason I'm giving the difficulty a 10.

Overall Score: 8/10 I really like this version of Centipede. It has the best graphics in the series plus it has a good storyline and it has catchy music. It has a decent amount of depth and it's a very hard game. This game's underrated in my opinion. If you can find this game at a cheap price and you enjoy a big challenge I highly recommend you buy it. I hope you enjoyed reading this review.

This is a really good review, there's nothing too special to make it stick out but it's clear and when it comes to formatting and organizing, it looks perfect to me. I don't actually think I ever played games like this because the concept just didn't really spark my curiosity.
