I love Christmas! It's intended to be a time of celebrating Jesus's birthday and it's supposed to be a time of giving! Also, I have many opportunities to see streets and houses lit up and decorated to match the Christmas theme!

I absolutely love Christmas.  There were a few years in my late teens when the "magic" was gone, and thoughts of family members who had passed on made the holiday a bit dull.  In the last several years, however, everything's come back. 

For Christmas, I try to make it out to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, each year.  The big event to get into is the Moravian College Christmas Vespers program at the Central Moravian Church.  If you can't get a ticket, there's always the open air Christmas market, and everyone is decorated with lights, and there's a HUGE star up in the hills to the east as though it were the real Bethlehem on Christmas night.

Otherwise, I love going to church services back home, where I sing in the church choir. 

And, unlike most, I actually do celebrate the 12 days of Christmas like they should be.  So, as of this post, happy 7th day of Christmas!

I still really like christmas but not quite as much as I used to. As a kid I got tons of presents each year. Now I don't, but that's ok because I'm an adult now.

Well, yea, I love christmas, as long as we are not talking about celebrating christmas with my parents who give me weird presents xD

I chose "love it" because I love it !

It may sound strange, but the magic of Christmas is not fading for me at all - in fact, it's growing stronger!

Why? Perhaps it's because I now look forward to and cherish something a lot more meaningful than receiving gifts and seeing "Santa Claus": giving gifts and spending time with my loved ones .

It is very warm here, and it does not snow. Thus, we do not need a fireplace, and I'm sure no snow and no fireplace could mean "no Christmas" for some, but it's people's generosity that truly defines Christmas, I believe . That's why I find it easy to get into the Christmas spirit, especially in recent years!

Receiving, I admit, is also fun - you have to receive in order for someone else to give, right ?

I know "magic" may not be the right word to describe what Christmas is to me, but it certainly is special . The songs, the colors, the trees, and the smiles of everyone else make the holiday one worth loving for sure ^^!

However, I don't like how a season that's supposed to promote generosity and love is taken advantage of by marketers to sell differently-themed products. That's not cool .
