Mine would have to be the electric type, to be honest. I don't know, I've always liked electric Pokémon for some reason. I find that they have great special attacks, and that nothing really gives them trouble except for ground/rock types. Even that is no problem if you taught an electric Pokémon surf, though. Also, most electric Pokémon are cute and I'm sorta a sucker for cute animals.

spenser1151 : My personal favorite type is the dragon type because a lot of them are really powerful also there aren't very many bad ones out there. Another thing I love about dragons is most of them can fly so I normally have one of them on my team instead of one of those normal/flying type pokemon.

Psychic type Pokemon is definitely my favorite type. And if I had to pick a favorite Pokemon from that type, it would definitely be Espeon. Their strong special stats, especially special attack, seem to work well with my style of battling. I guess you can say I'm more of an attacker than a defender. I know some of them are very weak against physical ( non-fighting ) attacks, but in my experience playing the games I don't really come across that situation very often. Honestly, I could probably have a Pokemon party full of 5 Psychic types and one other type of Pokemon ( doesn't matter what type ) and I could get through an entire game without having very many struggles.

My favorite type used to be Fire, but now that Gen 6 is here, I think I'm switching to Fairy. I know, it sounds dumb, but I just find it hilarious that a tiny little fairy can easily take down a giant dragon.

Um I haven't played Pokémon much but from the ones I have seen I would have to say it would be a toss up between the dragons ( seems to have very powerful moves and they look cool ) and Fighting types ( look cool also, got great moves, and seriously who doesn't like to up close and personal in a fight ? ). I think my favorites that I have seen of those would have to be :
Dragons - Haxorus and Garchomp.
Fighting - Pangoro and Sawk.

My favorite type is grass, just because I enjoy most of the grass designs, next would be steel type because the stats given to most are generally within my ability to utilize effectively.

The all mighty poison types are my favorite, I even played on of the hacks here by using only poison type Pokémon's and it was quite fun. I like to challenge my self on Pokémon games because they are way too easy otherwise.
