So basically, the reason for this poll is pretty obvious, I want to see what everyone on here thinks is the best Zelda game ever made.  Each person gets one vote, and remember no fighting over which is better, we let the votes decide.  And don't let anyone tell you that you are wrong, it is YOUR opinion not there's, so play nice and lets see what Vizzed thinks is the best!  Also feel free to explain why you think that your choice is the best.  Just remember to be polite to all no matter what game that they choose.

My favorite Legend of Zelda is definitely Twilight Princess. I can't really explain why it is my favorite, it just is.

It is, for sure, Ocarina of time. The game is just a classic and a master piece. I played and beat that game to many times to count!

Why is there no Majora's Mask? You rude

Majora's Mask and Skyward Sword are my favorites. Majora's Mask is really unique, between the character quests, time progression, masks, and the keen sense of dread that the locations and music provide. The locations were condensed, but they never felt small.

As for Squidward Sword, I really enjoyed the gameplay, artstyle, music and characters. SS is one of the few Wii games that used the motion controls in a way that wasn't gimmicky, but really contributed in a positive way. I can't speak for you guys, but when I first heard about the Wii, I immediately imagined using the Wiimote as a sword. Well, this is one of 2 games where that works really well. I really enjoyed the oil painted graphics. It was a clever way to get around the technical limitations of the Wii, all while looking fantastic. Artstyle > graphics. I really liked the new characters and twist on classic ones. The music was also excellent

I may be a little biased, as I have only beaten one Zelda game. I love all of them, I just haven't been able to beat most of them. But I would have to say that Twilight Princess best. I haven't really gotten into the ones older than Ocarina of Time, so I can't actually say I like all of them.

Huh. Don't see Wand of Gamelon on here. Weird.

I'm going with my real favorite, Link to the freaking past.

My favorite Zelda of all time would actually be Wind Waker. Always enjoyed that one and the graphics are good for the time period it was made in. The music was nice and fit into the game very well and really set the mood during certain parts. Such as the time when it stayed night throughout until you got the bombs and blew your way into the cave behind your home island while avoiding being sucked into the whirlpool and talked to the giant fish guy. The music there was very panicky and with the background of the storm it fit well. I also liked the game play and, as with all Zelda games, the side quest you can do. All that plus being able to pick up a giant boulder and walk around while wearing the Iron Boots making heavy metal clangs with each step and making little Link look even more awesome just really made this game one of my favorites.

spenser1151 : I choose OOT. Though Twilight Princess seems brilliant and amazing(not to mention that Hyrule field theme song), and no, I haven't played it yet, there's something to be said for a game where you can play as a guy at TWO different time periods in his life, both time periods have fun, edge-of-your-seat entertainment, and it's the origin story.

I'm gonna say, a link to the past. It's really incredible, and overall my favourite Zelda's are the 2d overhead ones.

The game was very intriguing, the story made you want to continue.  And the gameplay was masterful.
Also, where in the world are the handheld ones, if they were here i would choose for them. Also, where are the CDI ones?

spenser1151 : I hope you do not mind me posting here. But I have never played Zelda at all. It always seemed as though there was a lot of magic in these games. Would I be right on that, or am I just judging a book by its cover too much. I hope you don't get horribly mad at me. I just wanted to know.

My favorite Legend of Zelda game is Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time, I loved the replay ability of it. The graphics back then were very well, I mean of course they are not in today's standards, but back then I thought they were really well done. The story is legendary in my opinion, you still have people talking about it today. The character development I thought was very well done. How they explained Link and such was very unique and really thought out. Also how they pulled off the entire life span from child to adult for Link was genius. The music for the game was very nice to the ear, I never really muted it or anything like that. Supporting characters were very well though out, and unique. The only one I really thought was extremely creepy was that mask guy I never really liked him. Another creepy person was the skull kid, but I at least understood why he was supposed to be creepy. Another thing I liked, which would be in the category of re play ability area would be the side quests in that game, there were so many of them that it could easily keep you busy for a week alone (if you were extremely dedicated maybe even sooner). The game still lives on even today, with the port to the 3DS.

FaithFighter : I have no idea what you mean by a lot of magic in them.  Do you mean they seem like games where magic plays a big part because is kind of does.   Or do you mean that they seem magic in the sense that it isn't believable, because  yes it isn't believable.  But you should try one of them nonetheless, maybe you'll find enjoyment out of them.

FaithFighter : Sorry for jumping in to this question but I thought as an avid Zelda player I could shed a little light. First of all if you mean that magic is a major part as in actually using magic, then the answer is somewhat. Yes you do have a Mana bar in a few of the games but it isn't actually for casting any spells but it is for powering certain items like the Fire and Ice arrows or Din's Fire. I don't believe that there is any actual spells in any of the games mainly because all you ever really use is Items and your sword. There is also the aspect as in Majora's Mask that when you use the mask it transforms his body and in several of the games the blue armor lets you breathe underwater but you don't actually use magic. The games are sword fighting based but there are magic aspects to them.

spenser1151 : Hey there spenser1151, I am PokePal435. I pretty much like all Zelda game but, the one that sticks out to me most is Ocarina of Time. I don't know what it is about Ocarina of Time that makes me like it more than the other Zelda games. I guess I like the graphics more than the others. Also, I gotta stay with the more classic Zelda games. I'm not saying that I hate the other Zelda games. I'm just saying this is the one I would play more than the others. I don't really have much to say really about why I like this game.

I guess I will take my leave now.

ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD: well I think my favourite is those legend of Zelda  that you can get along with the people, so MAJOR MASK is my favourite not because it better then the rest but: in MAJOR MASK you can solve people problem the game itself is short but the quest is what make it long I think all Zelda games should copy MAJOR MASK, like link to past you only do the quest THAT IT! Few side quest(maybe link think that GANON was a big threat) but  LINK awakening brought what I was talking about equal work and equal fun I mean if a Zelda game has just work you can't know the person and it make the game the same as other knight games do the level =each the boss = end of game and legend of Zelda won't be as popular as it is now the reason while  my favourite is MAJOR MASK not because of the boss the boss are a very difference and name are hard to called and they are not creative I means a guy with a mask in his face holding a spear, a goat that shoot shark, a fish(not at bad at link awakening own but it more creative) and two giant thing that link have fight too many times is the series the final is  good but the second form is odd as I say it not the boss or the heart piece it the side quest and that is what make legend of Zelda NO link a person in which you can know as the best (or at least they copy him in most sword games and show) sword guy EVER this had be AVGN speaking,THANK YOU!!
