Take control of a small portion of the German, Russian, or American Army. Blitzkrieg is a Real Time Strategy game, with real video reels from the Second World War. With real soldiers, real battlefields, you will get the accurate feeling of being a commander in one of the most crucial times in history. Join me as I give a review of this masterpiece of RTS. 

The game has good graphics, and is much better if you upgrade your graphics card. With good visuals, and accurate effects this gives an immersive experience. There isn't any part where you would be stealthy, but there was little need for it during this time. With many varieties in troops, and even the elements of different nations, it is easy to see why this game has great graphics.
Because the game has really good graphics for an RTS I give it a 9/10.

Sound. Really the game doesn't have a wide variety of sound, but still I liked the sounds they did have. The voices are all the same, but languages are all accurate, I couldn't tell you about Russian, but the German, and English is real. The music has a nice WWII feel, and the sounds from the weapons sound real. But other than that there isn't much. For a RTS game it has good sounds.
Because I liked the sounds in the game, I give it a 10/10.

Story, is not really there, but you have to take the Second World War into it. This means that you get a good story, if you know the history. The reels have good commentating, and gives a story feel. But really there isn't much to say here, because Real Time Strategy games don't really focus on Story like other games.
Because it is Historically accurate I give it a 9/10, but the story is really not there, this isn't a game to play for story.

Addictiveness, Sorry, I skipped to story without going on this point. The game does feel good, but I never really had a hard time stopping. The game is hard to stop in the middle of a mission, but it can be done. The game has much to offer, if you can handle the Russian campaign, which is really hard, as the Germans have the best everything in the game. But it was still fun to play, but not too hard to use.
The game is addictive, but not because of story or sound. I just am a big history guy, and because I love history I give it a 7/10

Depth, the game has little to offer other than three campaigns and a level creator. It isn't that good, and because of that I would give it a lower rating that is deserved. I liked this game, but it wasn't filled with variety. 
Because the game had little to offer, I give it a 5/10.

Difficulty, depends on the nation you choose, the Germans are really easy to use, because their tanks are the best, but the Americans are a nice middle between hard to use, and easy. (Crossover.) But the Russians were terrible, the tanks are slower than molasses in January. They couldn't get to the target in time. That makes the difficulty hard to rate. 
I give it a 7/10 because it was just depending on the campaigns.

Overall the game is fun, sometimes really hard, but it depends on your technique. I give it an 8.5/10 It has a pretty low rating in my opinion, but I still really loved it, it is one of the best RTS games I have played.

Thanks for the review. I shall keep this in mind, but I never did care for the theme of playing as the Germans or Russians. I am also not too big on real time strategy games. But you made it sound like fun!
