Hey, this is Pac's review of the rushed Atari 2600 conversion of Pac-Man. It's been about 11 months since my last review, and I apologize for that. I completely lost motivation. I already made a review of this game a long time ago, but it was crappy and I posted it in the Game Discussion forum. This game is the worst Pac-Man conversion of all time.

Graphics: 6.5
I understand that the Atari 2600 couldn't have fantastic graphics, but I'm still disappointed in this game's graphics. The maze and the pellets are both the same color: light brown. First of all, the Atari 2600 definitely could've handled a better color for the maze, so it's stupid that the maze is light brown. Same goes with the background, blue. Next, Pac-Man doesn't turn for upward or downward movement; he continues to face left or right. Also, the ghosts flicker almost constantly, and they're poorly colored.

Sound: 4
All of the sound is really basic and it's bothersome to most players. The game starting music is only 4 notes, and it's irritating. There's no background beat unless the ghosteater pellet is in effect.

Addictiveness: 7
This game is surprisingly as addicting to me as any other version of Pac-Man. I can play it a few times before getting tired of it.

Depth: 5
This game offers little depth because it's just the same maze over and over, just like every other version of Pac-Man.

Story: 0
Nothing to say here.

Difficulty: 8
There are only 2 tunnels instead of 4, the maze is different, and the ghosts can catch you much more easily, so this is pretty difficult.

Overall: 6.1
This is an OK game, especially for one on the Atari 2600. I recommend you try it if other versions of Pac-Man are easy for you. Sorry that this review was short. There was nothing else I could think of to say and I'm trying to get back into reviewing again so I might make short reviews for a while until I get my review swag back.

Maybe this was a short review, but this is known as one of the worst games ever so there's not a whole lot to say about it. Nice work Pac

juuldude : Thank you! I agree that it's one of the worst games ever. It's still fun for me to play though It's not that hard for me because most of the time I'm very strategic in Pac-Man games.

PacmanandMariofan : I should have known that I would find you here! Nice job on reviewing a game this small, not to mention the fact that it was not one of the best. My problem for reviews tends to be to rate really high and only do the games that I like.

FaithFighter : When I was at my peak in reviewing skills, I did the same thing. But now I want to review any game that I feel like reviewing.

tornadocam : The thing that irritated me the most about this game is the startup screen. That easily hurts my eyes.

Pacman+Mariofan : This review is okay for Vizzed standards. It suffers the usual major flaws of a Vizzed review such as having a lazy half-assed title, and who could forget, no mention of how the game plays, but I congratulate you for actually having proper grammar. You should seriously consider reading an actual video game review (specifically one from GameFAQS.com), because not explaining Gameplay in a video game review is inexcusable and I'm not going to be desensitized by the crappy review standard of this reviewing freak show.
