Now, time has passed since my last Team Fortress 2 review
(like, I literally can’t find it) so I decided to make a new one. Now, you may
be thinking “How good is this TF2?” My layout is of TF2. It’s that good.
Anyways, since the Love and War update launched a few months ago, and that was
like one of the ‘major’ game patches, I’ll make a review. (I can’t find Team
Fortress 2 in the game Video Game Room, so I’ll just post it in PS3. I did use the
PC version, so... eh?)

Graphics: 9.5/10 Now, I use an emachines. The graphics can
get pretty good, but I need to make it look ugly. (Like everything on low
except model detail and texture detail, high and medium respectively) I don’t
mind for graphics, and I think this game looks pretty good. The art style is
amazing, and it won’t look ugly like some other games (*cough* Call of Duty
*cough*). The optimization for this game isn’t very good, as I go 15 – 50 fps
and with a lot of framedrops and freezes, but hey, that’s my computer’s fault.
Sound: 9/10 This game’s music is amazing. Each class’s theme
fit perfectly with their personality. And the voice acting is amazing, though
it usually racist (making the Russian speak in broken English and the Australian
say crickey, bravo Valve). The sounds of gunshots and all that seem perfectly
accurate, yet still a bit cartoony.

Addictiveness: 10/10 This game is downright addicting. You’ll
spend upwards of 100 hours customizing your favorite classes, learning cool
tricks (rocket jumping and perfecting the trick stab), and playing against all
the 12 year olds.

Depth: 10/10 This game has a lot to do. You can do one of
three things, 1. Play the game like you usually would, blasting and shooting
enemies to complete objectives, 2. Be a friendly and just make a lot of friends
and talking about the latest update and so forth, or 3. Collect thousands of
hats to customize your favorite classes. The last one is the biggest draw, as I
have spent hours trying to get the best looking hats for the Medic, Sniper, and
Scout. If you aren’t looking for hats, you could always play the game normally.
There are (I think) 10 gamemodes you can play in, each having (almost) a dozen
or more for each gamemode.

Story: 7/10 Here’s the worst part of Team Fortress 2. The
story isn’t really told ingame, it’s told in comics on TF2’s official website.
However, I’ll try to tell you it as good as possible. It’s the 1850s and 2
brothers, Redmond and Blutarch, convince their father to buy land in the US.
Long story short, the land was useless and he gave each brother 50% of the land
and they fought for it until the 1960s. It’s one of the better stories in a
FPS, sure, but it’s not enticing enough to just the play the game for the
story, as I previously said, it isn’t even told in the game.

Difficulty: N/A It really depends on who you play against.

Overall: 9.1/10 I love this game to pieces and I recommend
this to everyone that plays on PC or has a PC, but be warned, the optimization
is crap.

Nice review! I think you could have done a little better on formatting it though. Maybe next time try bolding certain things and pressing enter more.
I love tf2 myself, but its hard for me to play because it lags on my computer.

This game made me get a job just to buy virtual hats..which is kind of sad. Nice review, one of my favorite games of all time, great lore, gameplay, graphics and characters. It's also where I met most of my good steam friends!

Well this is a good review, and I love tf2, ita one of my favorite games on steam and I uses to play it all the time when I first got it back when I had internet. Your review is really good, its a very nice length and has a ton of details for each category. I feel that you have done a good job with this review and that you should do more.

The story of Mann vs machine was that there was a third child, named Gray or something. Who, quite literally, got snatched by an eagle after he was sentenced to death by his father. Now, years later, he came back and assassinated both Red and Blue. He had shown he made and ARMY of machines based upon the mercenaries that red and blue hired and claimed that they were better. Currently, the Mercenaries should be unemployed or something. But teamed up to fight off the machines. Not sure if you care really, just giving a bit more background.

I also love the fact of Red and Blu meanings, Red is demolition and Blue is Construction.

This is a nicely done review... I can tell you enjoyed the game very much. You put a nice amount of detail into describing how you go about doing things and the specs of everything, that is good to see. The only thing is I think you did this review as a fan and not with a critical eye but that is fine you put a lot of attention into this and it clearly shows. You also give a good idea of how this game would be for someone just starting out playing it and that is appreciated. I hope to see you do more reviews in the future x
