The Digital World is suffering a great crisis. All the Digi-Destined look on powerless, praying for the arrival of a new savior for this world. That savior is supposed to be you. Will you keep up with the expectations?

So, here we are, the Digital World, inhabited by Digimon, a wide variety of digital creatures. This world is ruled by a game called Card Battle, which every single denizen plays. And you will have to learn it fast, since you are going to take on the most powerful fighters.

Basics

In this game, there are three types of cards: Digimon, Option and Digivolve Option. The first ones are your battlers, the second are the strategic cards to turn a battle into your favor, and the third are the ones designed to speed up Digivolution. To digivolve, you need Digivolve Points (DP) which vary depending of the card, ranging from 0 to 30. Digimon cards are also divided in levels, starting with Rookie, then Champion and then Ultimate. There’s a fourth level, Armor, which can only be achieved by partners (see below).

Digimon are divided into 5 specialties: Fire (red), Ice (blue), Nature (green), Darkness (black) and Rare (yellow). Each one has its strong points and its weak points. Fire revolves around powerful finisher attacks while having average health. Ice is just the opposite, with very high health and not so powerful attacks. Nature has a high Digivolution speed, while has average attacks and health. Darkness become more powerful with each level at the expense of very high DP needed to get there and a low Digivolution speed. Rare aren’t strong, nor fast to digivolve, nor have a high health. Mastering these kind of decks can be rather troublesome due to the lack of efficiency.

Every opponent you defeat, and also every Battle Arena you conquer, earns you at least one pack of cards, with three cards inside. You can have up to 6 copies of a card in your collection, and up to 4 copies in the same deck. Note that the cards in your deck aren’t subtracted from your collection, in other words, if you only have 1 copy, you can place it in three different decks if you want!

Before Starting

As always, you have to put your name and all that stuff. However, it’s important to note that you must pick your very first partner. Partner Digimon are just Rookies which, as the second anime protagonists, can undergo Armor Digivolution if you have the correct DigiEgg. Armor Digimon are usually between Champion and Rookie in terms of stats, but they also come with a hidden ace. As you progress through the game, each opponent you defeat gives experience to your partner(s). Partners also have numerical levels, and reaching new levels can report some extra benefits, including something called Digi Parts, which can power up your Partner, give it a special support effect or even increase the DP they provide. When selecting your first partner (you will be able to select 2 more later), you also receive your very first deck, revolving around the selected Partner specialty. The available Partners are Veemon (Fire), Hawkmon (Nature) and Armadillomon (Rare). Choose the one that fits better your playing style, and get ready to start!

There are 12 cities distributed in three zones: Mega Area, Giga Area and Tera Area.

MEGA AREA

Beginner City

Here starts our journey. First off, you’ll see that this city has a Battle Cafe, a Battle Arena, a menu and a Player’s Room. The first three will be in all cities, while the fourth is kind of special to some selected places. It’s nothing special, it only has your records, your titles and that kind of stuff. The menu has everything about the settings. And since the Battle Arena will always be closed when entering a new city, the first stop is always the Battle Cafe.

Here, you’ll find Betamon, who will teach you the tutorial to learn the game. If you say no to the tutorial, you can battle it with your own deck and start gaining experience. Whatever you do, once you’re done with Betamon, the next one is Babamon. After talking to it, the Battle Arena opens up, and so the challenge begins.

This Arena is nothing in particular. You only have two opponents, Agumon and the previously encountered Babamon. They both use a weak starting deck, so no problems here. Once you win in the Arena, you will unlock the next city. Also, all opponents faced in the Arena will appear in the Battle Cafe so you can challenge them to a battle. This happens in all cities, except in some rare occasions. So moving on ahead.

Flame City

Now things start to get interesting. In the Battle Cafe awaits Davis, one of the newly chosen Digi-Destined, and a strange Digimon with no revealed name. After talking to the two, the Battle Arena opens. Meramon, Phoenixmon and Veemon will be your opponents here. Basically, you will face red decks centered about raw power. Facing red decks with red decks can be risky, green decks can be killed off by Veemon, and yellow decks aren’t suitable here neither, so you have your very first challenge here. Upon winning, go back to the Cafe, and Davis will give you your first DigiEgg for your partner. Each partner has two DigiEggs assigned. So you have two evolutions to choose about (and also two strategies, since they’re never of the same specialty). You have also unlocked the next city, so moving on again.

Jungle City

In the Cafe awaits the second Digi-Destined, Yolei (why the hell was she named Keely?). Talk to her to unlock the Arena. Four opponents to challenge: Vegiemon, Ninjamon, Veedramon and Wormmon. Vegiemon and Ninjamon both use green decks which can digivolve very fast. You will benefit from the powerful attack of Fire here, as well as some Darkness cards which are usually powerful against Nature. Veedramon is next, and he isn’t that much of a match unless it plays “itself”. Since losing a match means starting the Arena all over again and you can save after every three matches at any Arena, you better save before facing Wormmon. It will use a green/black deck which can be troublesome with the appropriate combinations. Once finished, go to the Cafe to talk to Veedramon so it unlocks the new city.

Igloo City

The last Digi-Destined, Cody, awaits in the Cafe, alongside Garurumon and that mysterious Digimon again. This arena will be hard to defeat, specially if you started with Veemon, so it will be better if you battle some of the previously defeated Digimon to gather more cards and build a secondary deck for instances like this one. Four more opponents to beat: Frigimon, Whamon, Garurumon and Stingmon. The motto of this Arena is Ice, so expect very long battles until you manage to deplete such high amounts of health. Frigimon exploits this fact, using a lot of Option cards to keep recovering health. Whamon is hard to take down, so you should have some heal Option cards or power up your Digimon to quickly claim victory. Garurumon will counter almost every attack, so be careful with the attacks you choose. Stingmon doesn’t belong to this Arena, so it uses a different black/red deck, more powerful than in Jungle City. Once the Arena is beaten, Cody will give you a second partner, a nature one: Patamon or Gatomon. Also, this time you will have to beat Garurumon again in the Cafe to get to the next city.

Junk City

The last stop of this Area. In the Cafe, KingSukamon tells you that the Arena has been taken by force and asks you to free it in exchange of unlocking the next Area. So, to the Arena we go. Four more opponents stand in your way. Hagurumon isn’t much of a challenge, but keep an eye on its crash attacks, that strategy can come in handy once you understand how it works. ShellNumemon isn’t hard neither, remember how difficult it was to build a competitive yellow deck. KingSukamon is no different than the other two, so this Arena should be a breeze. But then, Sadramon, an Armor Digivolution of Wormmon appears to challenge you. It uses a similar deck than the one used in Igloo City, so just remember that battle and no more trouble will be caused. However, KingSukamon is everything but a good guy, and doesn’t give you access to the new Area. Instead, you have to do the whole Arena again, just without Shadramon. You already did it once, so absolutely no trouble here. Now, the next Area is unlocked for good.

GIGA AREA

Dark City

This place sure is creepy. Anyway, Ken, one of the Digi-Destined, is right now the so called Digimon Emperor, with Wormmon working directly under his orders, and this city is their headquarters. Battle Wormmon first at the Cafe, then go on to the Arena. Wormmon will fight endlessly, taking you on with all forms of Digivolution it can achieve. First as Wormmon, a green/black deck far more serious than the last one, but should easily kneel against a powerful red deck. Next goes Stingmon, Wormmon’s natural Champion level. It uses a pure black deck, powerful, but as long as it cannot digivolve you’ll be just fine. Next comes Shardamon, the first of Wormmon’s Armor levels. You have already seen what its red/black deck can do, so expect nothing more from it. Then, Wormmon unleashes a new Armor level, Quetzalmon. It uses a blue/black deck, which can keep up with your attacks at a good pace, so expect a hard time here. Wormmon finally gives up, and Ken/Digimon Emperor shows up to battle you personally. A pure black deck, stop attacking and you’re done for, unless you prevent him from digivolving. Back at the Cafe, Wormmon unlocks the next city, and gives you the second DigiEgg for your first partner.

Pyramid City

T.K. awaits here, alongside Angemon and the mysterious Digimon yet again. Talk to all of them and go to the Arena. This one hasn’t a defined pattern, so each opponent will be different. The first one, Centarumon, uses a pure red deck, so a lot of raw power is expected. The second, Tyrannomon, uses a red/green deck, with very dangerous finishers, so be sure to counter/neutralize them. The third and last opponent is Angemon, with a pure green deck specifically designed to punish black decks, otherwise is just a fast digivolving deck. Once done, the next city is unlocked, so moving on once more.

Sky City

Kari and Gatomon are at the Cafe. Gatomon gives a long chat, and Kari is in some sort of trance. After talking to the pair, head on to the last Arena of the domain. Your first obstacle is Wizardmon, who uses a blue/black deck, between powerful and useless. Next goes AeroVeedramon, and this one sure is tough. A pure green deck with a good arrange of Option cards to fit almost any situation it’s in, you will need a very strong deck to win here, and a big sac full of luck could be of use too. Next goes Gatomon, the final challenge, although if you have defeated AeroVeedramon, Gatomon’s green deck won’t be a nuisance. Once done, if Gatomon is one of your partners, Kari will give you a DigiEgg for it. Also, be sure to grab some backup for your deck, because from here on, we enter in the third and last domain.

TERA AREA

Steep Road

Look who is at the Cafe: Ken, the once so-called Digimon Emperor. Talk to him to get details on his story if you want. If you want to go straight ahead to the Arena, talk to Megadramon instead. The first opponent is Goburimon, and calling it an easy match it’s a superlative. It uses all 5 specialties, and only of Rookie level, so it only relies on its Option cards. Next goes DemiDevimon, who will start bluffing about letting you win and all that. Its red/black deck isn’t that much of a challenge, so maybe it wasn’t bluffing at all. Then goes Megadramon, with a pure black deck. Its attacks are deadly, so be sure to attack with everything on your turn and remember it will have a hard time Digivolving. Once done… You’re not! Megadramon isn’t the leader! You have to go back to the Cafe, for there is the real leader: Gigadramon. Talk to it, and battle through the whole Arena again. This time, after defeating Megadramon, you will battle Gigadramon, and believe me, you want to save at this point. Its red/black deck is absolutely lethal, so you better strengthen up your defenses. Once done, now for sure, Ken will give you a third and last partner to add to your team.

Wiseman Tower

Remember Agumon? Well, he’s back, and in a new level: Metalgreymon. It acts as the leader of the Arena, a huge Arena may I say, with six opponents, the six partner Digimon of anime season 1 in their penultimate Digivolution . First goes Togemon, with a pure green deck. The keys are fast Digivolution, first attack and eat-up HP. Other than this, the deck has no secrets. Second goes Kabuterimon, with another green deck, this time focusing on counters. Be careful, its best counter is against Armor Digimon, so your partners better watch this from afar. Third goes Ikkakumon, with a tough blue deck. Better not to use a red deck or you’re done for, and careful with the counters yet again. Fourth goes Birdramon, and for the sake of the adventure, you should save before this match. Its red deck shouldn’t be a challenge, but this way you ensure three victories in the Arena. Fifth goes Weregarurumon, a very tough opponent with a blue deck. Be sure to strike it down before it does the same with you. Sixth and last comes the leader, Metalgreymon. It runs a red/blue/green deck, and even though it doesn’t sound troublesome, it will obliterate you if you’re not careful. Strike with all you got, it has a good Digivolution speed. Once beaten, go to the Cafe and talk to Weregarurumon, it will give you the Hacking card, a must-add for the next challenge in my opinion. Metalgreymon will give you a DigiEgg for your third partner. An unexpected guest enters the scene, and it’s none other than the mysterious unnamed Digimon. It says something about defeating “him”. Anyway, be sure to train your decks to the maximum, because we’re heading to the last city.

Infinity Tower

In the Cafe awaits VenomMyotismon, who speaks of truth and peace, like the villain it is (not on this game, though). It also opens the Arena, and remember, you need at least one strong deck from here on. Five opponents are ahead, the first being Tuskmon. The motto of the Arena is Darkness, and Tuskmon loyally follows it with a pure black deck. Not the hardest deck out there, but difficult nonetheless. Keep an eye to its Option cards and play strategically to gain advantage. Next goes Phantomon, with another pure black deck, but its not troublesome at all due to the abnormally low attack and HP its cards have. MegaSeadramon is up next, with a pure blue deck, to fit its different evolutions. Just focus on attacking head-on and you’ll do just fine. Since three matches have passed, I must recommend to save before the next match begins. The opponent is Machinedramon, with a black/yellow deck. Be very careful with it, and be sure to deal a lot of damage in the less number of attacks possible. Now only the leader is left, and is none other than VenomMoyotismon. Its pure black deck shouldn’t be a challenge, because it has a hard time Digivolving, but in the case it succeeds, remember to attack with everything and even more. And that’s it for t…

Wait a minute! Something happens! It’s… the main villain of the game! Analogman, as he calls himself, has hacked into the Digital World and plans to annihilate it! Luckily, you’re able to escape, so be sure to make the strongest deck and then save before the final battle begins. The mysterious Digimon tells you to trick him into a battle to weaken him, so it can finish him for good. Enter the Battle Arena and be ready for the latest, hardest and cheapest duel in the game.

Since Analogman controls everything, he will cheat to make everything to his advantage. The first cheat is the free shuffle, which makes his deck to not shuffle, so every time you play against him the cards he draws will come in the same order over and over. If that’s cheap, hear this: it will move your partners down to the bottom of the deck! They can resurface easily, with the help of some action cards, but I personally went on with the challenge and removed my three partners to optimize my deck. After all this, it finally begins. And you won’t like the opening hand: Download Digivolve, which lets you Digivolve to anything under any circumstances, and Apokarimon, the most powerful card in the game in terms of attack and HP. Of course, the two will be played on Analogman’s very first turn, so be extremely careful if you’re the one starting. As the duel progresses, there’s not even the slightest ray of light for you, be it more Digivolution into overpowered cards or the Sevens. The Sevens are special cards which have incredibly powerful effects, and believe me, you will feel fear when seeing them in Analogman’s hand. If the Goddess of Luck is by your side, you will defeat him, albeit not without a little bunch of failures. Once defeated, the mysterious Digimon will seal Analogman away forever, locking itself in the process to ensure he never escapes (what kind of story doesn’t have a little bit of drama?).

Credits roll after this, no way to skip them, and once are over, save the game. When you reappear in Beginner City, go to the Player’s Room, and prepare to be surprised. Game completion below 50%!

Yep, the game is technically over, but not officially. A new adventure awaits you, even though your decks are at its peak. So once again we have to go through the whole Digital World to stop those up to no good here and there.

One of the first things to note is that the original Digi-Destined from the first season of the anime have appeared in the map. The second is that Wizardmon, at Sky City, can give you one copy of some powerful Ultimate Digimon at the exchange of a special cheat code. I have no proof whether those cards can also be obtained in packs or not, although I would say no, so you better get them now before starting the new journey.

Beginner City

Here we are again, at the dawn of a new adventure. A new face is in the Cafe: Tai. Talk to him, and he will say that Myotismon is causing trouble in a new location in the Giga Domain.

Desert Island

Digimon here look like possessed or something, specially Leomon. Anyway, talk to Myotismon, and the Arena will open.

CAUTION! This Arena forbids the use of Option cards. My choice was a pure green deck, for the Digivolution speed it possesses. First opponent is Leomon, with a green/black deck, not harmful at all. Next goes Devimon, with a blue/black deck, again not much of a challenge. MetalEtemon is up next, with a yellow deck, once again not a powerful one, but with some counters that can complicate the battle. Finally, Myotismon shows up, with a black deck. Surprised if I say not harmful at all? Sure its tougher than the previous opponents, but still no match. So, with Myotismon shut up for now, let’s return to Beginner City.

Beginner City

Agumon has evolved into Greymon, and Babamon has gone back in time to its younger years to become Rosemon. Yes, Rosemon was the guise of that “help” you got to seal Analogman away, but it has nothing to do with the Rosemon you see here. It tells you something’s amiss in Dark City, so let’s see what’s going on there, shall we?

Dark City

Myotismon again… But a different Myotismon than the one in Desert Island. It spits some nonsense, and then opens up a new Arena, the Haunted Arena. Four opponents, four pure black decks, and still no challenge. Bakemon is just powerless, Devimon is still easily beatable despite its new deck, SkullGreymon isn’t much harder than Devimon, and Myotismon doesn’t get better than before. So, now that Myotismon, or both of them, have been shut down, we can start anew our journey. And we start at Beginner City!

Beginner City

As in the last adventure, we must start with this Battle Arena. Talk to Greymon in the Cafe to unlock it. We are just starting, so the opponents are mere sparrings to a great Tamer like you are right now. Penguinmon should be the best proof, with a powerless blue/yellow deck, and Rosemon isn’t better, its red/black/green deck just doesn’t work. Greymon is last, and its red deck isn’t a problem either. From here on, our targets are the Digi-Destined and their partners. Ready to take them on?

Flame City

Davis, our first target, is at the Cafe. He will openly accept a challenge any time, so better start right now. He shouldn’t be hard, you’ve seen enough pure red decks to know what he’s up to. Once defeated, he opens up the Extra Arena, where the opponent is Veemon’s evolutionary line. The very first opponent is ExVeemon, once again with a pure red deck. It will try to counter your finisher attacks, so avoid using those attacks if you can. Next up is Flamedramon. I must admit it, I had a hard time dealing with this one. If it can, which is most of the time, it will use a wide array of healing cards, so prepare for a long lasting battle. Last goes Raidramon, with a red/black deck, and it’s not as powerful as its peers, so if you beat Flamedramon you’re sure to win this one too.

Jungle City

The second Digi-Destined, Yolie, resides here. Talk to her in the Cafe and then battle her. Her green deck has some troublesome cards, but relies on luck and the ability to read your next move, so its efficiency is greatly reduced. Once beaten, talk to Hawkmon and the Extra Arena will open. Hawkmon itself is the first opponent, with a pure green deck. It Digivolves fast, but that’s just it. Aquilamon is next, using a red/green deck, slower to Digivolve and less powerful overall. Halsemon is the last one, again with a pure green deck. No trouble if you blast it with all your might. All in all, Flame City was far harder than this one.

Igloo City

The third Digi-Destined, Cody, is the next prey. Chat, battle and win. He isn’t tough, a pure rare deck will suck most often than not. Then we have the Extra Arena, with Armadillomon, Ankylomon and Digmon. They all use a pure yellow deck, more or less similar playing styles and they should be around the same difficult by now.

Junk City

Even though there’s no Digi-Destined nor an Extra Arena in here, it is our next stop. Unlock the Battle Arena by talking to Thundermon in the Cafe. Your opponents are Thundermon from the get-go, then MetalMamemon and finally SuperStarmon. The yellow deck trend of this city is strictly followed in this arena, so it should be a breeze. Better get on to serious business.

Pyramid City

T.K. awaits here. Right, he was selected in the first anime, but he’s more active in the second. Be careful, his pure green deck can be really tough under certain circumstances. The Extra Arena has Angemon, Baronmon and Pegasusmon. Angemon hasn’t changed since the last battle, Baronmon combines green and red strategies for a somewhat tough deck, and Pegasusmon is just a follower of Angemon’s playing style.

Sky City

The last Digi-Destined, Kari, awaits her demise. She uses a pure female Digimon deck, and is stronger than what you think. The last Extra Arena contains Gatomon’s forms, with Gatomon as the first opponent, Nefertimon up next and Tylomon ending the sequence. All in all, this Extra Arena is almost the same as the one in Pyramid City. Gatomon uses the same strategy as the last time, and Nefertimon is similar. Tylomon uses a blue/green deck, and certainly lives up to the expectations of the last Armor Digimon to be faced. The next challenge is set, and starts nowhere else than Beginner City.

Beginner City

The next challenge involves the original Digi-Destined. Before that, however, their Ultimate level Digimon shall be faced first. Tai is here, and so is Wargreymon. Battle him in the Cafe if you can, if not it will open up the Battle Arena and replace the last opponent. With Wargreymon beaten, you earn the right to fight Tai. He isn’t tough, but uses a wide array of option cards, so don’t underestimate him.

Flame City

Our next target is Sora. Her protector is Garudamon, so battle it right now. Garudamon plays similar to Birdramon, so not much of a challenge here. The protector beaten, Sora comes next. She isn’t much stronger than her protector, if she really is stronger.

Jungle City

Mimi will have a short time to enjoy the garden views. To be precise, the time you take to beat Lillymon. Once again, not harder than the Champion it evolved from. Mimi isn’t different, and I wonder again if she’s stronger than her protector.

Igloo City

Matt is here. Believe me, the easy path up to here is just an illusion. MetalGarurumon will protect Matt, and it will try well, blue decks are always a pain to beat. Matt dissipates any doubts about the protector being stronger: MetalGarurumon is nowhere near Matt’s level. I had a really hard time dealing with him and his blue deck, expect a fierce battle here.

Junk City

What does the intelligent Joe do in a place like this? Anyway, Zudomon will prevent you to challenge him, so get it out of the way. If you can, that is. Another tough blue deck, although Zudomon doesn’t have the skills to exploit its maximum prowess. If you manage to defeat it, Joe awaits. Somehow, Joe isn’t that fearsome, nor has he better skills than his protector.

Dark City

And here is Izzy, as Joe, in a place that doesn’t suit him the very least. Well, MegaKabuterimon lays ahead blocking the way. MegaKabuterimon relies on timing, and it will miss most often than not. Izzy follows up, with a similar insect deck, but has better skills. Beating Izzy grants you the Mutant Fusing data. I’ve said nothing about Card Fusion because you can completely omit its existence, I’ve done it and I’m not like the best player out there to presume of this feat. Anyway, on to the last stage.

Infinity Tower

The end of the road, the end of the challenge. Your last opponents will be the Dark masters themselves. Talk to Piedmon in the Cafe to open up the Arena. The Dark Masters will be the opponents here. However, there’s one change, since you defeated Machinedramon before.

MetalSeadramon goes first, with an spectacularly tough blue deck. Be extremely careful in this Arena, for your opponents are of the hardest level. Next goes Puppetmon, who has a clear lack of skills in using its yellow deck. LadyDevimon, Machinedramon’s substitute, is up next, with a black deck that revolves around big gambles. Finally, Piedmon shows up. It has a deck with all four Dark Masters in it, which means a yellow/blue/black deck that won’t be neither quick nor lucky enough as to get out any single one of them.

The game should be over by now, but it’s not done yet. You still have to search for some more cards, and also new opponents. The only things to note here are the one-off cards Download Digivolve and the Sevens, and two special opponents that appear after you obtain enough wins.

Download Digivolve: Rosemon, in Beginner City, is the key to this card. You must beat it ten times IN A ROW without leaving the Cafe. Much of a requisite? I think not. The card itself is all powerful, and Rosemon isn’t that much of a challenge as of now.

Speed Sevens: Quite a powerful card, enabling First Attack, Healing and a little increase in attack all at the same time. Piximon, in Steep Road, is the key. Just one battle, only one win over it and the card is yours. You won’t have a hard time dealing with it, so consider it your first challenge.

Holy Sevens: Useful card that heals 1000 points. Seraphimon, in Pyramid City, is the key. If you can’t battle it in the Cafe at first sight, defeat it in the Extra Arena. Seraphimon, alongside all of Patamon’s forms, will appear sporadically in the Cafe every time you enter, so once you see Seraphimon in it, don’t exit until obtaining the Holy Sevens. Seraphimon will use a green deck that obliterates black decks, much like its previous forms. The number of wins to obtain Holy Sevens should be at around 10.

Dark Sevens: Overwhelming card that turns the foe’s HP to 10 as long as it has fewer HP than you. Piedmon, in Infinity Tower, is the key. You already know it isn’t that much of a challenge. I had a hard time obtaining Dark Sevens, I needed a lot of wins, clearly over 15. I don’t think you need that much, but doesn’t matter, you need to rack up a good number of wins for future uses.

Mystic Sevens: Pretty useful card, blocks the foe’s support and option effects, and regardless of the success of this block, reduces the foe’s attack power to 0. Kari, in Sky City, is the key. When battling any Digi-Destined, you have the chance of being given some decks they create to use in battle, and they always seem more powerful than the ones used regularly by the kids. Anyway, around 10 wins against her should get you Mystic Sevens.

Reverse Sevens: The least useful of them all, unless you use some kind of deck destruction and recycling strategy. It moves the top 10 discarded cards back to the deck and shuffles. The key to this card is explained below.

Wild Sevens: The name fits very well in this card, since it triples your attack power. Imperialdramon, in Flame City, is the key. First you must defeat it at the Extra Arena, then battle it at the Cafe. As always, all of Veemon’s forms will appear randomly in the Cafe, so once you see Imperialdramon, challenge it immediately. Imperialdramon will try to predict your attacks and counter, so be extremely careful with your decisions. Five wins or so should be enough to get Wild Sevens.

Grand Sevens: Adds the HP count to the attack power. Beastly, under some circumstances better than Wild Sevens. Nanimon is the key. Nanimon will roam the map, appearing randomly in any Cafe of any Area. You can only battle it once each time, which means you have to search for it and win like 10 times to claim Grand Sevens. It uses a very poor yellow deck, almost no trouble at all.

I also mentioned special characters. They are BlackMetalGarurumon and BlackWarGreymon. The first appears when reaching 200 wins, the second when reaching 300. To get up to those numbers, be sure to keep visiting all the Extra Arenas, since they will get new forms over time. Also, the Jungle City has another special Arena, Beet Arena, to battle even more opponents. Infinity Tower also gets new residents in the Cafe, be sure to pay them a visit.

BlackMetalGarurumon: When reaching 200 wins, BKMetalGarurumon will appear in Igloo City’s Cafe. Talk to it and the Arena should be open. The opponents will be Garurumon, MetalGarurumon and BKMetalGarurumon. BKMetalGarurumon will play a pure blue deck focused on block support and counter, so be extremely careful when dealing with it.

BlackWarGreymon: When reaching 300 wins, BKWarGreymon will appear in Beginner City’s Cafe. Talk to it and it will open the Arena. The opponents are Greymon, WarGreymon and BKWarGreymon. BKWarGreymon plays the same strategy as BKMetalGarurumon, but with a red deck instead of blue, which gives it more raw power in exchange of lesser HP. After defeating it, talk to it again in the Cafe, it should give you Veemon’s third DigiEgg, the only partner to receive a third egg. Also, battle BKWarGreymon again and upon winning you’ll be rewarded with the last Sevens card missing in your collection, Reverse Sevens.

To fully complete the game, you must obtain all cards and all DigiParts. To do this, just keep battling over and over. A hint is that the more you battle a character, the easier it becomes to obtain its card form. Anyway, your journey is never over. Keep this in mind!

EX Palen : This looks pretty thorough, so "A" for effort. I look forward to trying this game in the future, myself. In the meantime, it's good to know guides like these will be there.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
