Level UP : Tobbaco isn't the addictive part, it's the nicotine. My biology teacher said it was more addictive that heroin. I'm not sure if that's 100% true, (I know it's not as harmful as heroin), but I wouldn't doubt it.

tobacco isn't the really harmful part of smoking.... it's all the other crap in them that is harmful.

And I heard nicotine is more addictive than heroin.... again, you can't really know unless you've done both and quit both, but I would wager that with how often people smoke compared to how often people need hits of heroin that the nicotine is more addictive.
