While wondering around the Internet I found a PC alpha game that had a lot of potential the game is a space sim (from what I have investigated) I believe is sponsored by the people. The game is still being polished and its release is not revealed yet, however I've already seen an impressive amount of things that can be bought at the store. I was intrigued by all the ways described on the game play from what I heard asking the people from the chat you can have multiple things to focus on the multiplayer world, the game will even have an economy (affected by players). And tons of other stuff which I am still looking at. I got a Golden Ticket like 1 1/2 year ago for the announcement of this game. Well it was worth nothing. BTW have you seen the prices for the ships? This game has realistic ship prices. Also they promised us too much to be true. This game will fail if it does not go F2P but with this system they would be P2W.

Quhark : You are probably right, I'm going to buy the $45 Aurora package with the $5 arena mode, just to check out the game, it looks pretty interesting though the expectations they are setting for us seem to high, I'm assuring you I won't spend any more money than what I am now mentioning unless I get an amazing experience, I mean I mostly did it because it looks so flexible, the graphics are really awesome and because I've always had a weak spot for space games giving them a soft review. Hopefully it turns out to be a great game so our cash won't go to the garbage, when I buy my ship I'll try to add you. (Hopefully competitive ships can be bought with the game currency)  By the way what role are you planning to play??

Let me explain what happened: I got ticket for a date. When the date arrives I expect a F2P game that will be awesome. Instead they give us a kickstarter for the game. I was like: " Don't believe the hype. " just like recently Watch Dogs failed. I felt like I need to wait for them to show me actual gameplay not an engine demo.
Also with these prices they will have to:
1. stop the development
2. become part of a bigger company
3. go F2P

or with a ton of luck: 4. Succes

@Quhark: Lucky you got a free ticket still I think the most one has to pay for a full game is a pledge (the cheapest one is 30) and the arena pass $5 and everything else is for a better ship (Which can be bought outside of game and only comes with a few months insurance) I don't think extra money will be all that necessary and their game is probably going to attract people to buy extra stuff such as subscriptions or add-ons. From what I've seen in the chats (in the website) the people seem pretty satisfied with the alpha version. RSI is working on the game but releasing features to get criticism from the buyers since they are the ones that sponsor the game. Hope to see you ingame if you become interested.
