Another Amazing Game! Just another amazing addition to this series! Almost every aspect of this game was done perfectly, except for a few flaws which aren't major.
Graphics: 10 Kind of like Pokémon X, Nintendo greatly improved their graphics. Graphics may not be too important to these sort of games, but the crisp, bright graphics are refreshing to me. Now all of the Pokémon are great 3d models that look amazing, especially on the 3ds. Nintendo really has showed us what they can do with a new gaming system. The graphics amazed me, I couldn't believe I was playing my favorite game series in these new graphics with no lag. I think that Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates To Infinity really deserves to be given a 10 in this category.
Sound: 10 Just like any other Pokémon game created by Nintendo, the music in this game gets stuck in my head for days and I love the catchy tunes that this game offers. I always look forward to the soundtrack in Pokémon especially.I also love the cute sound effects that this game offers. Such as the V-Wheel song, which I can hear in my head right now. The soundtrack in this game is upbeat and fun as usual!
Addictiveness: 8 I played this game for weeks after the release! The reason I rated this an eight is because before I beat the game, I stopped playing for a few months. Once I picked up the game again I got addicted to it all over again! I love all of the games in this series and can't wait for the next one! The only other thing I have to say about this is that I stopped playing the game about 2 months ago, and I haven't picked it up since.
Story: 10 I have to say, I am a sucker for the story of the Mystery Dungeon series. I absolutely love the idea of one day waking up as a Pokémon, and then going on an adventure. Even though all of the Mystery Dungeon games have a similar story; you wake up as a Pokémon, and then you go an adventure to save the Pokémon world. In this one I love how you get to build up your own paradise! It's a fun way to pass time in this game. There are so many choices and things to do with your Paradise, it's a great addition to the series. Despite the similar story, I love all of them.. The last thing I want to talk about is the ending of the game. In every end of the game, the main character (yourself) has to leave the Pokémon world and return to the human world. I have to say, when I watched the ending of this game (when your character has to leave), I tear up just a bit. Even though I am not a little kid and I realize you get your main character back after you complete a mission, it still makes me sad. All in all though, an amazing story!!
Depth: 9 This addition of the series has a pretty long storyline and it offers many quests and different things to do after you beat the main game. Of course, the game is technically "infinite" because of the never-ending quests. Other than that, building up your Paradise is a new and extremely fun thing to do! If you have not spent a lot of time building up your paradise, I recommend you do so immediately! You can build dojos, build fun attraction's, shops, and even your own berry farms! Other than that, I love how you can find circular objects around your house and go on an all new adventure! The reason I gave this a nine is because unlike the explorer of time, there is not too much after game, at least not much I have found. There are not as many after-game boss fights. Except for those crazy battles against giant legendary Pokémon, which I find impossible to beat anyways. Other than that though, this game has a lot to offer!
Difficulty: 4 Difficulty in Pokémon games is not something I tend to take into my rating in this game, so I'll keep this nice and short. I found this game pretty easy overall, but I definitely had my moments where I would get stuck in a dungeon and be unable to beat it for a little while. That never lasted though, and this was a pretty easy game overall.
That's my review! I hope you enjoyed it! Another Amazing Game! Just another amazing addition to this series! Almost every aspect of this game was done perfectly, except for a few flaws which aren't major.
