a few days ago it was WrestleMania 30 so i think it's the perfect time to review this Snes Wrestling game! So This game was developed by the grand mother load of crap. LJN.

They are known for 'classics' like beetlejuice, The Karate Kid X-men and more of those 'great games' They also made WWF games. They were can i say not classy? No really the games sucked!!!!!! I'd rather *Gets message* The message reads: You should not mention the nerd.


Me- It's like puki *gets another message* It reads: WE SAID YOU SHOULD NOT MENTION THE NERD NOW SHUT UP AND TALK ABOUT THE GAME IN ANOTHER OF YOU'RE CRAPPY REVIEWS NO ONE LIKES!


Oh ok. Well let's get on with it then.


Graphics- Crappy for SNES standards.


I'm not the one to bash graphics but this is a wrestling game. I know the SNES can handle more. Everything has a brown dark look to it. It's not appealing to look at. Superstars do look good. When i see Hulk Hogan Or Randy Savage in this game i know that they are Hulk Hogan And randy savage. The ropes look Pretty good. The photo copy of Hulk Hogan Which is on the title screen looks great. However the photo copy for Mene Gene looks really bad

You also have the commentators in the background.Bobby heenan and gorilla monsoon (I believe. I don't really know a lot about the early 90's in wrestling) The animation is good for a background and you can see them having conversations which is a nice touch.

Of course i have to touch on the Animation. It's..... meh really meh. I mean grapples look Meh. Sometimes it looks like there just walking around doing nothing while they have to look like they are having a grapple battle. When they walk they look like crap. It's like there hobbling.


When the ropes move it looks pathetic. You can barely see it.



Overall the graphics are crappy. They look like a game for the atari 2600 compared to games like Super Mario World 2. The animation is meh.And the superstars look good. The commentators in the background are a nice touch. By the way if you are wondering there is no actual commentating in this game but what do you expect it's a SNES game. Sprite's look stiff tough. looks awkward. I don't hate the graphics but. No no no scratch that. I hate the graphics.The graphics made me lose a few times. Really a few things look OK but the rest...... JUST SUCKS @#$!


Sound: Pretty good!

The sound. It's actually pretty darn good! Yeah. Let's get to it.

The wrestler their entrance music is faithfully remade in 16 Bit SNES awesomeness! I especially like Shawn Micheal's music here. When you body slam someone it feels like real life and is satisfying. You can also hear the croud change. One time their cheering the other their silent waiting for a big move to break out in a cheer fest.

When you hear the superstar's their entrance music you know that they are. There is no music during the matches which i like.
There is not a lot to talk about.

Oh yeah. The punches...... no feeling at all. Really it sounds like crap. No satisfaction at all.

When you hit someone with a weapon there is also no satisfaction at all.

If not for those 2 mistakes i would rate them a lot higher. But it's pretty essential for a wrestling game to have satisfaction in landing a punch or using a steel chair. I can't see why they wouldn't of don it. They improved tough in WWF raw their is satisfaction in landing a punch!


Overall: Well..... the sound is pretty good. The punches however not. Body slamming people is satisfying. The croud is awesome and so are the theme song's Their are a few flaws in the sound which prevented me from rating it higher.


Addictiveness: Not addictive at all.

This game is not addictive at all. The controls are really bad and can hurt you're fingers. You have to press the button 10 TIMES UNTIL IT DOES SOMETHING. There is not a lot to do. The matches are hard to win and getting out of a pinfall makes no sense. At first you think. Alright i have to press the buttons repeatedly. So that works. But the next match after only ONE body slam that method doesn't work anymore!

Getting back in to the ring also makes no sense. You can't get in the ring from the front. Like seriously why? You have to get in to the ring from the side. That makes it a lot harder. Playing as A superstar like yokuzuna makes it even harder! I don't get why they had to do this. Like i said the controls are bad and are unresponsive. This really takes away from the fun factor. Count out's are pretty fast.


Overall: This game is not addicting. The controls are bad and unresponsive and the fact that you have to get in to the ring from the side frustrates me very much. So this game is not addicting. My fingers still burn.. I had to play this game for 2 hours..... That hurts trust me.


Story: Not really. Well you can kinda make you're own.

There is no story mode or anything like that. I am aware that there is a sega Megadrive version of this game which has a WWF championship mode but I'm talking about the SNES version here. But i like to create rivalries. Make manual tournaments. That is actually pretty fun. Like diesel turning on HBK and things like that. But there is no real mode with a story.

Depth: Bad really bad.

There is no excuse no freaking excuse. I can't imagine buying this game for 50 dollars. I would be offended. There is only a one on one match which strangely enough is no DQ but with a count out system. A tag team match and a broken survivor series 4 on 4 match. Why is that match broken you ask? Because ONLY 2 OF YOU'RE TEAM MATES AND OPPONENTS ARE ON THE SAME SCREEN. For example when i pin hulk hogan when their are 3 other opponents left Only one will come to the ring! But i'm not here for that no no no. The tag team match is also ridiculous the opponents PC breaks up the pin but you're PC team mate does not!

The one on on match is no DQ but with a count out no ta lot to say there.


Imagine buying this piece of crap for 50 dollars! It would be criminal!


Overall: The depth is really bad. Almost nothing to do. And no championships! It sucks.


Difficulty: Very irritating

This game is hard! No it's irritating and not fun to play!

Getting out of a pinfall makes no sense. And now the controls. This is the worst part of the game.

Those freaking controls!!!! When i want to go left it just won't respond. Doing a move hurts my fingers and doing a pin maneuver is hard. Getting out of the ring is Stupid and getting in to the ring sucks even more!

The CPU......... IS SO STUPID. they don't do anything. Really they suck. And if you're team mate is a CPU he won't break up the pinfalls.

I can't go on without repeating myself so i think it's time to stop.

Overall: This game is hard. But not because of the CPU because the game is broken. Getting in to the ring sucks. Pinfalls are ridiculous. And the controls burn my fingers.



Memories: OK memories.

I have some memories of this game. I can remember my brother letting me play it on his emulator. I disliked it. I played WWF raw on the emulator before and that was a better game. I lost al the time and my fingers started to burn. I had some fun with it tough.




Overall: Bad Game Alert! Stay away.
You are better off playing WWF raw for the SNES.

The graphics are the bad. The controls are terrible broken modes and good sound. Only play this if you are a hardcore wrestling fan like me. You will get some fun out of it.
